Black men making $100k have the egos of millionaires, they are in their 40s 50s and 60s and still playing the field and want no commitment.
Im not sure if I'll ever remarry, but if I do, my heart will be open for a good man.
I love black men, i would prefer black men, but my nervous system cant handle the BS. ❤

It’s an ego thing. There’s nothing wrong with not settling down but I’ve encountered many of these men who SAY they are ready but they never actually commit to one person. Heavy pockets has them feeling like they always have to have the next best thing, new upgraded this, new younger gf that. Then they turn 70 and wonder how they ended up with a 21 year old on their will. 😂

@blessedchild4941 Men from other communities and countries strive to make good money, so they can provide for a wife and family.
If you don't think non-committal men, lying to sleep with women is the greatest cause of single moms and fatherless homes, I don't kn9w what to tell you. If you don't think anything is wrong with it, do you.

@Alumnikiid It's incredible how people can work overtime to make a point, however, when people think of irresponsible men and baby mamas, they don't think of China and India.
My point is my point, black men are egotistical and feel they are too "great" for one woman, they are therefore very noncommittal and make terrible partners. Not all, but too many.

Currently dating a bavarian . Even though I was born in Germany as a child of African immigrants it couldn't be more country 😂 I was doubtful in the beginning, I've never dated a German before but I was tired of myself making a black man the ideal person to date. And let me tell you this journey is full of surprises. I figured the security he had growing up, is what makes him an excellent man. Parents still married, raised him well, with a lot of love and no pressure for success. Which is why he doesn't have insecurities and knows what he wants. Straight forward with whatever he says and does. The lack of complication alone is what I had to get used to. Now, I'm not saying you can't have that with black men. I would've dated a black man like this anytime, I know they do exist. But let's be real the proportions are just completely different in the black community. It's simply harder to find

All sounds like a bunch of excuses. Everyone has to deal with the hand that they were dealt. If most women are doing that, while not only living in a racist world, but also a misogynistic world, than so can most of the men. Problem is the hardest person to face is yourself.
I was manager at a corporate job one time & this guy I NEVER MET said to me “You took my job!” (In a room full of ppl at a meeting). The room went silent.
Then I said, “Did you even apply?” Sarcastically. The whole room began laughing. Then a couple days later the Manager above me, gave this guy an application in front of everyone. This was to prove that he never applied in front of everyone. Like I said hear dudes don’t realize that everyone sees this BS, which only makes them look like what the rumors say. They laughed that day because the knew he never applied for the position he says someone took from him. We ALL knew without even checking that he wasn’t ambitious enough to apply. But we never know so we checked & we were right. Last point, you don’t even have to be in a relationship with a dude for them to show malice.

This hits right on a lot of levels. I have often thought that the reason black women have such terrible stories and struggles with men is because they are dating black men. As a race black people are traumatized in a way and hurt people, hurt people. So if a man or a woman hasn't recognized or dealt with that pain they are only going to take it out on the closest person to them... each other. I support black love but it doesn't matter who you get with as long as you are loved the way you should be.
I am all for healthy love. No colors barred.

For example, I knew a guy who was raised with both parents. He was an insecure egotistical jerk who felt entitled to the women's bodies because he was a six-figure income earner. I have no problem with the black men in my life as there are only 4 of them and they are all wonderful people. However, somehow it seems that every single time I meet a new man outside of my circle we get into strange conversations that show me how much they have fallen victim to illogical thinking regarding either black women or "modern western" women. For example, one man told me last week that black educated women are significantly more likely to get divorced than black women with a high school education. I don't even need to ask him to cite sources for this. The educated segment of the population is already significantly more likely to get married in the first place. Poor people aren't getting hitched to begin with. If you never get married then it stands to reason that you won't get a divorce. Education tends to coincide with higher income and the desire to protect assets via marriage.

You are also less likely to find validation by saying "I have a man" even if the man adds zero value to your life since you probably get a lot of validation through your career. I know a black woman who is a judge. I have known her for 20 years and she bought her 3rd home here in South Florida partly based on my recommendation and to be near her friends. Since this is not only a riverfront mini mansion but also not a primary home (ie does not qualify for homestead tax exemption) she pays more on property tax for this Florida property than most Americans make all year for income. She constantly gets praise from her many charity and civic groups. Do you think she feels the need to get validated by saying "I have a man"? Nope. If that man stopped treating her well it would be over.

@RasheedahsWifeSchool this doesn't surprise me that a Homosexual and a white person would validate BW with material objects and discredit our unions.
If many of us were truly friends with people of other races then this material and separation of the gender BS being fed to us would be easily identified because many of us would see your groups aren't living the way you portray our relationships to be.
And when your "friend" dies who does this "mansion" goes to??? Her being single she has no one to pass this to so doesn't it goes back to the state of Florida. I'm pretty sure the new owners won't be black. It'll be one of you. So it's no wonder your kind have an interest in a say in our gender war. If BP and WP were truly friends then well see how you guys plan for generations ahead and our people are fooled by the here and now.

Nah black men all over the world...they are all the same...
The African man especially the Nigerian man when he gets his education level up and money up and becomes a professional he will think its his right to cheat on you as a "MAN". He'll cheat on you and have an entire other family on the side and never applogize for it. Just brining you all kinds of drama. Then hell look down on you because hes the "MAN" and you are just a "WOMAN" he is raised to feel that men are superior to women because that's how his parents raised him especially his mother.
I stay away from black men all together. Almost nothing good comes from being involved with them.

@trinese7 I used to date BM, struggle love, ride or die, and the " good woman." That was depressing. Like ever BM rich, poor, dumb or educated. They unhinged. I woke up real quick. There's a big difference. Men will be difficult at times, but definitely not as much as BM. I encourage dating outside the race. I even promote BM getting passports. Please leave BW alone and go abuse someone else instead of us.

I have so much love and compassion for black people. We have so much generational trauma that needs to be healed. So many of us are told that we are bad, sinful, flawed evil but really all we need is love and to learn to love others. I know a lot of black men who have the purest hearts. Who constantly face adversity and pain. I know so many black women who try to be optimistic. Who try to keep themselves from drowning. What we need is to understand our past and to understand our current world as well. That will give us tools we need to really look at each other with love and support instead of seeing each other as enemies. So many of us just want to be happy. We think we have to run away from who we are to get what we want in life but the truth is that we just need to understand each other . When we understand each other it will be so much easier to love one another.

I think we should break these racial barriers down. The Bible does not support the idea of individual races but it says we are apart of one race we just so happen to be different shades of brown. Let’s start looking at who the people are not what they look like. I’m black and the women that I fell for was half Indonesian and half white. People said I liked white girls cause of that but I didn’t even realize her appearance until much later. I saw a piece of me in her and that’s what’s important. Eve was fashioned from Adam making her a perfect physiological puzzle piece. Date everyone but most importantly become friends with people then choose who you want to date then make that choice of marriage. The person you marry should be as close to you as a sibling and that bond cannot be formed overnight.

For me, at the end of the day, our experience as Black people across the African Diaspora is unique. With that said, we have to understand that many Black women aren't healed either, yet I don't see how we can be healed apart from each other. We need to heal together, not necessarily in romantic relationships, but just in shared AND SAFE spaces of conversation. And, yes, that includes men and women from the LGBTQ+ community.
I think we take a lot of cues from the dominant white/Euro society, but, honestly, the answer or solution will not be found there, and that's why I think our relationships keep floundering and feel like a burden in many cases.
We need to create spaces to heal together and it's almost as if we have to build that healing pathway from scratch because I really don't think that it will be found within the auspices of white-dominated spaces or inquiry.
