Seriously. To me it seemed like this person was painting bad purposely to make it seem like this dumb tricks made things easier some how. Lol looked more of a waste of time to me.

Just need to put the record straight. Reason painters dont tell you this is because painters wont waste our time doing these DIY time wasting hacks lol
There's a few of these tips that would be kind of effective in specific situations. For example, there was no water turned on at the property, the steel wool in a container with water or solvent, would be a good way to clean you brush at the end of the day. Actually, that's the ONLY tip on this video I can see using myself as a professional painter.
Well, bully for you all you "professional 20 year painting veterans," there's always a "first time!" I, for one, find these ideas quite innovative and intend to utilize them when the time comes for MY little painting jobs🧏♀️👩🎨 It doesn't take much for you high-priced painters to feel threatened for your big bucks 🤑... give the homeowner and little guy a chance; it doesn't all have to come to only you🇺🇲
@@valentinagermano4399 they are stating the truth no professional would ever do this garbage. It’s hacks that would do it. Learn how to do the job correctly and don’t be hack. Don’t badmouth professionals in the trade that you obviously know nothing about
Bunch of bullshit. I've been painting over 15 yrs. Never seen any of these things done. If someone did do that on my job he wouldn't be back the next day
Gee! I'm not a tradesman. My son is, but I didn't know any of these helpful hints. Thank you for making this video on your own time! Don't worry about those greedy tradesmen.
Greedy tradesmen. Aren’t you the cream of the crop? It’s not greed. Us professionals pay for employee benefits, Medicare, SS, workers comp, liability insurance, equipment, trucks, trailers, vehicle insurance. Hack painters cut up water bottles and body filler scrapers vs using proper tools.
@@flyingburritobro68 We're all entitled to our opinion. You may not be a greedy painter, but I can assure you, there are plenty. You're fortunate if you've never experienced a greedy overcharging tradesman.
Cuban paint hacks 🤣🤣🤣 but they will get it done though one way or another! I paint everyday and have never used or seen anyone in America do any of this!
Not ridiculous- used in places where they don't recycle. Here, like USA tools are thrown away. Saws, hammers etc. If we get to the stage where you have no money or replacements we may also be doing this. That's how people with little make things go further. We are a wasteful generation.

painters wouldn't teach you lots of these "tricks" because it's more efficient to learn how to properly use the tools already built... cutting in corner on a wall just requires picking a different angle to use your brush, you don't have to chop up your tools to do that... the "tool" for scraping out a roller is literally 3 dollars at any hardware store, why spend time and money making your own? i'm all for good hacks, but these painting hack videos are getting so bad.

The reason painters will never tell you about these five whatever they are is because not one professional painter does any of these. The one with the brush not getting into the corners is just too much, I mean please. So please people don't ever think pros are out there whittling up plastic and bottles and cutting a brush into an abomination to do some secret hack because WE ARE NOT...
ahahha my dad was doing that things, and he just actually took a small tube and nailed it to a ladder so he can put there his stuff like screwdriver or brushes..
This is a true joke any painter would not waste there time doing any of these life hacks might be good for amateur painter but certainly not good for a true professional
There are angled brushes designed to do 'cut in' work, you don't have to destroy brushes by cutting them. And buying the proper brush for the proper job is cheaper than having to spend all the extra time correcting mistakes made by these dump 'hacks'. And using the proper tools for any job makes the job easier. Buy the right paint brushes for the paint job!
…Who cuts up their brush? Normal people turn it sideways to paint in the corner! 🙄 These are ridiculous! 😂
As a professional painter, this video is hilarious
Just flip the brush with the narrow side and paint the corners without trimming the brush, everyone knows that 😃
What are these. Everything displayed here is a total nonsense. I don't see merit in all
