Thank you very much for your wonderful video! Very well presented and organized. Thank you for including diagrams of the vocabulary on leaves, seeds and comparison between species. Also the reference to Harry Potter wands! Truly interesting. Best wishes in all your endeavors! Thanks again! June 5, 2024

I'm trying to learn to identify trees in my state (MD) and I keep getting told there's lots of walnut and pecan trees here, but I'm so bad at finding them xD I know walnuts at least are there for sure cause of the nuts, but I never find them when they're ready to pick so I want to be ready. This was a super useful video thanks!

Another interesting Harry Potter fact: J.K. Rowling has said that her own wand would be Walnut and Phoenix feather core, because she loves the look of walnut wood. Also, Black Walnut apparently has different magical properties from other species of Walnut in the book and is listed separately.

If you like the grain in burl, purchase some Bastogne or Walnut ( almost like curly Walnut)

Claro or Bastogne walnut are the nicest tables we sell. And we're the largest live edge dealer in Indiana. Lots of exotics!
