@@luciededinova5623 Dear Lucie. It depends what kind of paella you prefer to taste, not all good places for Valencian (like the video) paella are good place for seafood paella. Just one reminding. In the first seconds of your video, you both began with a phrase in Spanish. I want to remind to all the readers who come across this message that we speak another language too, which is 'Valencian'. It's as a group or variety from Catalan Language. It seems to me that you all didn't represent at all the linguistic expression we have in this territory by only using Spanish rather than Valencian/Catalan as the perfect and fair combination. This paella was the precoocked version for small restaurants, you need such a big infraestructure to cook paellas in a restaurant, so there are few of them that coock a legit paella, and none of them are in the city center. I have to say that the flavour of this precooked paellas is decent, but if you try a legit paella you will notice the difference, i recomend you "Casa Navarro", "Casa el famós" or "Alquería del Brosquil", but dont try to book them on weekend they have a month or so of queue xd. A resaturant that cook legit paellas will question you wich paella will you eat at the moment of doing the reservation, that is because the dish needs 1h and a half the be cooked, this is the best way to distinguish legit paellas from precooked ones.
@@jsmorenus8038 No, we cook it ourselves in our houses, grandma and grandpa are the ones that cook for the whole family on Sundays. The restaurants i have mentioned are the very best at cooking paellas, there are more restarants that cook it properly, is not that difficult to find, what is difficult is to find one in the city center.
@@jsmorenus8038 Eating an authentic paella in Valencia is almost free, but requires a bit of patience. There are some public places called "paelleros municipales" where you can cook a paella using orange tree wood (free if you ask to a farmer for grabbing some dry trimmed leftover branches) , roast beef meal (sort of a bbq) , etc. They are located inside some public parks. You can simply ask to any random folk that walks on the street, to make a deal: He cooks the paella with the ingredients you purchase from regular market, and you give him a portion. This way you can eat an authentic paella made for 4 or more people for less than 20€.
Valencian paella, can only be made like this in Valencia because the water with which it is made is perfect only here and in other places they use other ingredients that are not the original
What a total joy to see you continue with your moveable feast. The paella looked worth the wait…but hang on ..no dessert?

have fun guys. Yes, when we were in Valencia I dragged my wife to this chicken place in old town. She kept saying it was a bathroom. LOL. So you definitely enjoyed it more. We went during the holiday, so everything was closed and we could only walk the city.
Great food day! Everything looked amazingly delicious.
I didn't see Valencia in this video!
Pretty good video that show how charming is Valencia, Greetings from Argentina!!
Biennnnnnnn, this is what we call paella!!!!!! But as u said with no shrimp on top!!!!!!!! 🥘
Great video! And welcome to my city 😃
Leaving Spain today, found your videos super helpful throughout our trip , keep them coming !!!
Great to hear!!
A truly magnificent day today . To be able to watch your video is really wonderful and has made my day.Thank you dear friend!!!!🤩❤👍
I recommen you to visit the Cantabric "Comunidades", especilly its costal lines, with vertiginous cliffs and Picos de Europa. Obvioslly cities in that sector of Spain are very interesting, from San Sebastián to Santiago de Compostela and its gastronomy is spectacular.
1) Chocolate con churros is not a dessert.
2) Paella is lunch, is not a dinner.
3) Cocido is winter-food, gazpacho is summer-food. Paella and tortilla are four-seasons.
Thanks Chad and Claire
Hi, nothing better then authentic food . Yummy, wow what a good looking morning sugar rush ! Omg the buildings and the market place, love the architecture. Your fun Chad, I think you can always make Claire smile . Thanks for the tour as usual, your going places I know I'll never go. So I love seeing where you go , and especially seeing it all the way you show it. Things I'd probably be doing if I were there, have fun stay safe
We feel so happy to share our adventures with you!! I can sometimes make Claire smile, but I can also make her very annoyed. haha I guess you could say I have many talents.
@@ChadandClaire I’m sure, I think everyone has that button your very careful to push once in a while. Considering your around each other so much, my now deceased husband we lived off grid and with each other 24/7/365 for couple years learned . All in all, being with your other half non stop it’s very special to get along so well. I love you 2 get along so well, your relationship is very strong. I believe your soul mates 😊❤️
What was the weather like when you were there?
I love your videos and I am traveling to Spain in March and am worried about COVID. Do you have any advice? Thank you.
Un saludo desde Alicante, España 🇪🇸
That paella looked so delicious. Would loved to try it. The market was very interesting and the dome was dramatic.
Hey! I'd really like to know - how do you choose the restaurants to go to? Do you find them online in advance? Or how do you get recommendations? Thanks :)
Hey Dana! It’s a mix! We get a lot of recommendations from our Airbnb hosts, we watch other youtubers sometimes, we also get tips from people that message us, but I’d say a majority come from our own research via google maps and knowledge of what food we want to try.
Hope this helps! 😁
I like Claire wears little makeup. She looks very natural.
This was a really Enjoyable journey!
Hola desde Valencia 😁😁
Welcome to Valencia ☺️😋👏🏻
Awwww Im sad I wasn’t there when y’all arrived!!! Next time you go to Valencia let me know!
Awh! It would have been so cool to meet up Jesús! Next time we'll 100% let you know! Congrats on your new song release as well!!
I'm a fan of Chad surfing in the future 🤣🤣
I am definitely on this journey with you and loving every minute of it 🌸🌸🌸🌸
We enjoy watching your videos. We're up to "Spain". The food looks magnificent. We just wish you would put US prices like you did on your earlier videos to compare prices here in America. Safe travels!!!
That arts & science center did remind me of Wall-E…very very cool looking building! Paella (seafood style), is one of my favorite dishes on the planet, so I found it interesting that the original version had Chicken & Lamb in it (I was a little jealous of you two during that scene haha)! Another awesome video from the Dynamic Duo 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼😎
Ah rewatching us eating the Paella, makes me hungry! Have a wonderful weekend Robert!
Pollo y conejo no lleva cordero
@@pufynolo18 Ahh ok…gracias! 👍🏼

Great video , I love Valencia , but you ned more than one day at list 3 days to see all his Beauty . Thanks
You are right!
Ha ha, love the surfing!
Chad is the absolute cutest
Definetly the best paellas out there, Glad to see that more vloggers are coming here, I live in Valencia and also try to become a youtuber aha, see you around someday, and keep up the good vids friends :)
Found you guys recently by chance due to the Machu Picchu video and I have been binge watching your channel since! Looking forward to the next countries you guys explore in Europe 🥰
Thanks for watching! Excited to share our future adventures!!
How did you guys save the money to travel for so long?
When we went in 2019 we went to all the same places (minus the restaurants) so it was nice to relive it 😍 we remember the trip as the trip where Andrew fell down the stairs at our Airbnb apartment tho 😂😭😭
Haha the trip where Andrew fell down the stairs. Sounds memorable for sure.
Oleeee mi ciudad
Found your channel through this video and have been digging it so far! Considering you guys are pretty new to UA-cam, you seem to have already found your groove. A good combination of showing the cities, and most importantly (for me), the food!
I'm actually currently trying to complete my first goal of 50 countries as well- though I'm only 6 away. Next, 100! 😜
Looking forward to seeing what else you guys get up to.
Wow!! Congrats on almost completing the 50 country goal!! It'll be a few years before we complete our goal. Enjoy the next 56 countries to come! Happy you found our channel, you're welcome back anytime haha.
@@ChadandClaire I've been at it for a few years now as well. The reason I found this video is because Valencia is the next city my girlfriend and I are moving to. Spain will be the 8th country we've lived in the past 6 years. Having random home bases for a year or two at a time has given us the chance to take things a bit more slowly, so we explore nearby countries. 😃
As things slowly get back to normal, I certainly hope to finish 50 very soon. 100 is a ways off, but I can't wait to try and make it happen!
I've subscribed, so I'm looking forward to seeing you guys reach your goal as well. Good luck, and have fun! 😉
Please please please go to Valladolid haha
beautiful couple
Not best place for try an excellent paella. But is not bad shape that paella. Glad to enjoy my dear Valencia, guys. If you need best paella places, dont hesitate to ask me.
Hello, can you please share your tips for best paella in Valencia? Thanks a lot, Lucie
@@luciededinova5623 Dear Lucie. It depends what kind of paella you prefer to taste, not all good places for Valencian (like the video) paella are good place for seafood paella. For me the best Valencian paella is not a public place to go, is a private kitchen with a master albufera chef which opens the place for minimum 10 people previous reservation. But for open restaurants, last one I tasted the best valencian Paella, was "Borja Azcuitia" restaurant. For seafood paella i prefer the Alicante places, they make best recipes so far, places like Pegolí, Noguera, Estanyó... lots of places, if you come to Valencia, send me a message... 😉
@@elasoteasotador Hello, thank you very much for your recommendation. I am coming to this beautiful city of Valencia this Friday so if you have any tips for nice places to eat it would be so much appreciated 🙂
Amunt Valencia 🦇
Yay Pulp!
Nutritious!
great video
I live in Valencia since I was born and I lthink its really good to go visit it but sometimes I get tired of it idk maybe its just me 😅
That is one of the best Romance-Comedy in “Valencia Spain Love Story” movie 🍿 that I ever saw. 👍👍 TienTien love ❤️ your goofy moments. Chad surfing 🏄♂️ and paddling the surf boards and Claire’s elegant dances on the top of stairs.
Love those chicken paella, except I don’t eat chicken but it is quite tempting. Seafood dinner looks so delicious. I am just like your guys seafood lover and I would get my own plate too.
Chad your drone shots of Art & Science Museum and Pools are out of this world. Claire when your guys return from World Travel. Let’s have mono mono championship cook off 👨🍳. Just kidding master 👩🍳 Claire will beat RUHungryTienTien hands down. 😁
I going back to finish my new video Bell Pepper Beef for Christmas 🎄 which will be upload in a couple hours. I would love your feedback.
Can’t Wait for your next Rom-Com, Food and adventure.
I would pay to watch the mono mono championship cook off! Or perhaps I can be an "unbiased" judge for the competition. hehe.
Bell Pepper Beef for christmas! I'll keep my eye out for it! Sounds delicious already!
the food!!! so jealous
I like to have churros with coffee with milk.
I needed to say what a wrote you, guys. Telling what you read came to me from the heart, as a Valencian speaker from Valencia. Regards
Best part was Chad pretending he was on a surfboard. lol
Surfs up!
The ONLY paella you have eat
I clicked on this video bc I’m here😉
I do that all the time! haha
U Guyz Rock🌝
Hey chad and claire!! 🥰. Really admire you guys. This whole project is so well run and impressive and now we want to go to Valencia!!! Quick question, we are currently pondering starting a patreon / buy me a coffee and saw that you have your own patreon! What are your thoughts on it? Would you recommend it? Thanks guys. Btw, saw you're in grenada - epiccc!!! We haven't been but it is on the LIST!! Hope you are disfrutando en andalucía :P
Hey Wyatt and Reyka! Thanks for watching!! We have an interesting relationship with Patreon. Although we dislike the 8% fee that they take, we like the community aspect that it can bring. We are actually in the process of revamping our Patreon, so we can tell you more about it in the future. For now we enjoy offering "support us" via our website for one time donations and having Patreon for continuous support. It's nice to give people options. We'd say go for it!
@@ChadandClaire Thanks a ton for the great info 🥰!! That's awesome that you have the alternative with the one time payments that's basically our biggest issue with patreon right now (plus the 8% fee of course). However, we want anything remotely involving community so it's a toss up which we will choose right now. Anyways, cheers to you being willing to help us out and, as always, safe and fun travels!!
Ironically, the best paella you can eat in Valencia is not in the city but in the towns inside the province
hola
La Terreta you know
This paella was the precoocked version for small restaurants, you need such a big infraestructure to cook paellas in a restaurant, so there are few of them that coock a legit paella, and none of them are in the city center.
Your pup?
Our Airbnb's pup!
Valencian paella, can only be made like this in Valencia because the water with which it is made is perfect only here and in other places they use other ingredients that are not the original
What a total joy to see you continue with your moveable feast. The paella looked worth the wait…but hang on ..no dessert? That’s not like you! 😅
I haven’t been to Valencia but will aim to get there now. I’m a international pet sitter and so can look to where I want to visit next. Valencia looks so much more relaxing than Barcelona where I have cared for cats and dogs and eaten my way around the city. You guys are styling it big time. I imagine Claire is picking up tips for her next cookery book!
Due to our dessert breakfast, we decided to pass on it for lunch haha. Wow international pet sitter!! Sounds like a really fun job! I have to say, I've never heard of that one before. Claire is getting lots of tips for her next book! Probably won't be for a while though.
I don't understand Andalusian music in this video
Our "double R" can't be pronounced by anyone besides us. 😁
We tried🤷
wow, so much bs in the first 10 seconds, impressive! there is no high-speed train between BCN and VLC...
Guys, pronouncing Paella isn't that hard. It's just, PAH - EH - LLA. No palllella or pahahahella.
🇪🇸❌🇺🇸
Habla español!!
“Hola y buenos días” in valecian it’s “Hola i Bon dia!”. Oh, and people say that València is a smaller version of Barcelona because we share common history and language (catalan).
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Y a quién potorros le importa?
Spanish paella does not exist. There is only one paella and it is the typical dish of Valencia.
Valencia is not Spain.
Awful music...Always the same when people speaks about Spain????
God how tedious
Sorry, this Rice it's too much cooking!!! 😨
