Just started using MQ with Fieldpiece probes. Awesome for standard DX equipment. We don't do a lot of DX in my job so having a tool like this to help us along is great. I do mostly hydronic work and these tools, especially the clamps and psychrometric probes are awesome for diagnosing problems with chilled water and water/steam reheat coils. Checking differential temp across a valve will let me know quickly if it's leaking by. Many of our terminal air boxes or VAVs don't have discharge air sensors. Fieldpiece and MQ solve that problem easily. Keep up the great work.
1 week using the measure quick system and its already taught me more in 7 days than the last 5 years and made me 2 times as much money. and my customers are way happier, even though i havent had one yet who knows what any of this data means. mQ is clearly the future for my company. also fyi, fieldpiece probes are the only option. no other brand is even playing the same game.
I want to thank you for your dedication to this project. Amazing information very appropriated. I am using the fieldpiece kit mostly for Refrigetation application
Rick I'm still using the analog stubs. The Fieldpiece Probes are on my wish list at trutechtools along with 38 other tools lol. Can't wait to upgrade. Getting tired of counting lines on the analog hahaha
Amazing stuff! Thank you. Question, say I have my probes hooked up and everything is running and I get a alert flag for fair flow issue, say I fix the issue while continuing to test the system, will the app remove that air flow flag for me or do I still have to remove it manually? And say I do remove it manually because I fixed an issue but then the issue returns, will the all give me the same flag back up or once I clear something that specific thing won’t come back up as a flag again unless I disconnect and reconnect my probes? Thank you!!
Really enjoying learning this app so far. I do not see an option for water source heat pumps, perhaps I'm missing this. If not is there any plans for adding them in the future? Thanks for all the hard work developing this!
Iron Man I hear they are working on this. I asked on the live UA-cam last night. And was told sporlan smart tool would be added. These are the most convenient of all the wireless although lacking in other probes.
If I had known Fieldpiece was going to be sported I would have waited and bout them instead of Testo. I have seen so many times the greed of Proprietary kill tech Company's and Testo is going down that path instead of letting the power of Open-Source propel them to great heights.
For an ice machine you pretty much don't rely upon anything this app has to offer. You pretty much check suction pressure at the start and all the way through and reference it to the factory specs. But the biggest thing to check is the super heat on an ice machine. That will tell you almost everything you need to know. From what i've discovered is that high temp application and medium/low temp applications are a good bit different and MQ has yet to address this.
Can you manually input return or supply air factors if you’re using two smart line temp probes and one smart air probe when doing a non evasive system test?
im having issue with sharing date between my testo 557 and MQ. not sure why. i can no longer share my 557 data to MQ since i got a new iphone xr. i used to able to do it on my iphone 8.
I like my Sporlan service tool they fit in my veto bag along with pretty much everything I need to check a system. I no longer keep my fieldpiece or my iManifold on my truck. ( I rarely do a service call anymore maybe 8 to 10 a year) I do wish they would add probes for the supply and return like other manufacturers do.
I loved mine too until the probes went wonky after a year and a half and found out from Sporlan that they can’t be factory recalibrated or rebuilt. Their response was,”Well you can but new probes or upgrade to the pro/r.” No thanks, I’m not spending $500 every year and a half. I bought the Fieldpiece charging probe kit and the range is better anyways, which is great because I can check evap superheat on a cooler/freezer while I’m at the condensing unit.
Do you have to use blue tooth tools or can you enter in manually? i just use sman gauges and the check charge app? looking for something a little better
This app loses its crap just about when you try anything with medium and low temp applications otherwise it is amazing for high temp applications. The only other gripe i have is that it annihilates battery life then again it could be my craptacular phone.
I love this app....but u should of use a split system or package unit instead of a window unit...to show what the numbers and everything that your talking would make more sence,,,cause you using a window unit...but I really do appreciate all you do tho....your very appreciate it!!!
Thank you very Much for your Training Video Mr Bergmann And Mr Orr.
There is no way to say thank you enough! This app is amazing and so are all of you supporting it!
5 years later and this video still full of information!thank you for developing this app,and it's free!!

Thank you, great video and very helpful, one problem is even at 1080 resolution setting the video quality is hard to see even on a desktop PC.
Soo hard!!!!
Great informative video Jim. Cant wait to try my FP probes with this software, there app was there downfall. Thanks for all your efforts!

I am making the investment and am excited/cant wait to start. As with any tech, I will start with MY HOUSE....LOL. Thanks Jim B.

Definitely going to get this hooked up to my testo probes on my ac systems I maintain. This looks very promising to make our jobs easier
Did it work for you? I just got the wireless Testo probes but I have not had any good results with the Measure quick.
No good results with my Testo probes. 😒😒
Integration with the Parker / Sporlan smart service tool would be awesome they feel lonely in my truck.

you guys are awesome!!!
Will you guys integrate the new testo equipment into measure quick
🤔🤔 Very good class on Measure Quick.
I would like to know if the UEi wireless clamp meter will be available in the future to use it with MQ.🙄🤔😉✌
I still can't get my imanifold gauges to work with it.
This tool works for Commercial Refrigeration?
Great job and video
Will this app work when using on an ice machine? I’m assuming you would select package unit for the type?

Will there be support for the UEI hub 6 smart probes in the future?
I took this training for a job and this shit took me 11 hours 😩 but it got done!
Is there anything in the works to make the Parker smart service tool work with the measure quick or does Parker just suck that bad?

I just tried to call true tech tools I was on hold for 45 mins I finally just hung up. Unbelievable
I think I will stick to my manual manufold gauges
Do you have to use blue tooth tools or can you enter in manually?
i just use sman gauges and the check charge app?
looking for something a little better
You can manually enter
@@HVACS yes I seen that thank you hopefully I get a chance to try the app out today
@@HVACS I was looking at a set of yellow jacket digital gauges that are Bluetooth capable.
I'm guessing these would work

Man am I struggling getting this app to work. I'm sure its user error

The video picture quality sucks
By the time u diagnosed the system I'm already done with the next call.
I would see tthis as training wheels for newer techs. As you know a lot of hvac companies have that swim or sink mentality
@@Sesamestreet9080 I agreee. i think its a sign of a total rookie tech. if i was a home owner i would not trust these techs.
