    Thank you. Marvelous. I am 76 year old and I am learning to play tennis. Heve been playing for 2 years and have had some teachers, but none of them goes through the steps of teaching/learning as clearly and patiently as you do. The step by step movement and positions are clearly shown. Marvelous not to be worring were the ball goes to but to the position and movement instead. Congratulations.

    coach, great job. would you say Alex probably has a way above average comprehension and natural instinct and ability? I teach a couple of my son's friends as well. It would be so much easier if they had Alex's comprehension and follow through action.

    For adults is it also detrimental to take racket back past the right hip (0:48 in video and again mentioned about "palm not crossing right hip" at 1:45 in video) ? I notice you mention to the student not to take the racket too far back and I am wondering if this only applies to children or for adult amateurs as well?

    How does staying lower help while moving? The coach mentions that @11:57

    • @AlexTheTennisPro
      @AlexTheTennisPro  Рік тому

      I will ask the coach about this particular moment. But from what I understand. You have much better balance when you are in lower position, when you get to the ball. Also when you get to the ball it is easier to do adjustment steps before hiting the ball to hit ball with a sweet spot. If you watch top ranking players they stay very low for the whole rally. We have the full 45 min video where Vas and Alex do low stance training. ua-cam.com/video/GVGWFbVqA6A/v-deo.html

    When people say explain it to me like I’m a 5-year old this is what they mean.
