  • A quick walkthrough of our son's harness to help with running away, tempers, etc. It has already saved his life! He almost ran in front of a car but we caught his harness in time. Here is the website where we purchased the harness from: www.childharness.ca

My son is at the age now where he is wanting to get outside a lot. Plan on taking him hiking as it warms up for the spring/summer. Thanks for making this video, exactly what we were looking for.

Thank you for this! My 3 year old has autism & he LOVES cars & wheels. Anytime we go somewhere he wants to run around the parking lot & look at all the cars. Sometimes he’ll let me hold his hand but not for long. I remember all the controversy around child harnesses so it made me second guess getting one but my son’s safety is more important, I think and hope this will definitely help keep him safe! 🙂

He's such a handsome little feller. Thank you for the video. This would be perfect for our theme park visits.

It looks like wandering/eloping can occur at any of the three autism levels. Many books and articles that I have seen don’t seem to mention that.

Good job Ian! Your Tough! I have Autism just like you. I am a Autism Mensa 170+ You have very intelligent Parents This is a good harness, Does it have the a spongy leash with a Waist band? This will help keep parents hands free and soft pull when they decide to go rogue lol. It has to be Scissor proof. ( this is the one i will purchase for my Children if I have the opportunity)
Ill help you Sell these, You will sell thousands, No need to invest into quantities, rather just the design. Thank you for keeping children safe. See you in about a year.
Ill be back is an Asperger's promise.
    Cheers! God Bless!

When and how did he stop running away? My son is 11 and a runner, we never used one but thought about it.

You do realize it's for his safety Right? Who cares if it looks weird him not getting into danger matters more. And this video is like 7 years old and from what I understand this kid doesn't use it anymore.
