@@superdotnswyeah but what happened to outkast looks like a glitch. Pillar wasn't out, but he up specialed to ledge, grabbed ledge, and pillar didn't come out but the game thought it did. He didn't touch stage and was sent back off stage only for him to try to pillar and it didn't come out.
@@mewtwo6540 A timestamp would be helpful, but it sounds like Outcast did the hop you get when you cancel side b. If you go for that hop, you forfeit using a pillar offstage, even if you didn't already use pillar offstage. You have to touch ground again first.

side b cancel and up b'ing while pillar is in play will both get rid of pillar

I'm a couple weeks late, but the timestamp is 15:16. I don't see a side b in there, is the cancel before the animation starts? @@hughmungus227
