Bad Batch S1 EPISODE 9 FULL BREAKDOWN + Connections - Star Wars: The Bad Batch

- Star Wars the Bad Batch Season 1 Episode 9, BOUNTY LOST has finally been released on disney+, and with it, we finally get the follow up to Cad Bane’s kidnapping of Omega, and find out some pretty disturbing details about the Kaminoans and their secret Cloning Facilities.. The episode also has some nice little connections to the other Star Wars Tv series, and games, which give us some hints about what’s coming up in the next episodes.
Boba Fett is the ALPHA CLONE!! Cad Bane v Boba Fett has probably already happened thanks to the cybernetic patch on his head.
So, the action begins with a tense dogfight in space above the planet Bracca, where Crosshair is relentlessly pursuing the Batch, after he was horrifically burned not long ago. While attempting to escape Crosshair’s grasp, Hunter is extremely conflicted about whether or not to make the jump to hyperspace because he still believes he has a chance to save Omega from the man who took her, of course being Cad Bane. Other other members of the batch however snap him out of hit, realizing that Bane is sadly long gone by now.
Following this, we cut the interior of Bane’s Ship, The Justifier, which is the same one he had in the deleted scenes of the Clone Wars, where he fought Boba Fett, replacing his old ship, the Xanadu blood. On board, Omega is being held inside a ray shielded cell, absolutely terrified, and still believing that Hunter is most likely dead.
Either way, Todo 360, Cad Bane’s techno-service droid comes by the cell to speak with Omega, and she angrily demands that he let him out, but not before his Master Cad Bane himself comes over. The bounty asks how his favourite asset is, which angers her, and in response Bane immediately lowers his hat to reveal a large cybernetic patch on his head. This patch being here most likely indicates that the western standoff between Cad Bane and Boba Fett has already happened, and that Cad Bane somehow survived a direct blow to the head. The patch also seems to be in the exact same spot as Boba Fett’s helmet dent, which he of course acquired in that exact same fight, which is an awesome little parallel, meaning they both shot each other in the exact same spot. - Розваги

Hope Boba Fett somehow makes it onto the show, seeing as he's been mentioned already.

Boba has to appear. Omega is essentially the closest thing he has to family, (a sister) cloned none the less if he finds out that Cad bane is after her, they will most likely recreate the unfinished clone wars episodes of Boba v Cad bane.
I doubt it, since cad has already had the battle since they make it obvious that he has a metal patch. He tries to quickly cover it with his new hat. If anything, I feel if boba will show up but only to help fennec since we need to know why they’re friends in book of boba

@@jakeesos2629 yea, but this one isn’t like them, this a direct 1:1 genetic copy of his father, not enhanced or anything. Keep in mind boba hated the clones for what they represented and he viewed himself as the only true version of jango’s son. If he finds out there is basically a second version of him, and they want to use her to make more abominations of his fathers legacy, I think he’d want to put an end to it.

They re-wrote the Canon Comics with Caleb Dume, so they could re-write this scene and have him protecting Omega. The only problem is that the deleted scene with Boba already happened. You can see Bane has the bandage over the spot where he got hit.
Bane got nerfed after last patch, guess he was too op for the current meta
Maybe a bit, but I the way I explain to myself why he had a hard time with Shand is that first of all he is a bit older but even more so that he was literally bombed by a thermal det. Of course he wasnt in peak condition.

Maybe fennec and Boba help in the battle of Kamino near the end and that's why she's wanted by the ISB....

Finally they shine some recognition on the fact that Fennec was paid by Nala Se to *protect* Omega while Cad Bane was sent by Lama Su to *capture* her.

When Omega is reactivating the comms relay, the computer sounds are the sounds of the main menu from the old Bounty Hunter game where you play as Jango Fett.

To be fair, Bane’s been bounty hunting since before the clone wars (considering he was known to have somewhat of a friendship with Jango Fett), and is probably getting old. He only was losing at first because Fennec took him by surprise. Once he regained his bearings it was a pretty even match.
So far Fennec seems to be just another hugely powerful female character without something behind her. Why is it recently so hard for Star Wars to give us believable, well written strong female characters.
I really REALLY hope we get more info on the Boro Vio cloning facility shown in this episode, Maybe an episode showing it when it was in use or having some info as to why it was abandoned, Or any more info at all. Since it seems pretty interesting to me.
I’m guessing boba at this point in the time line would be in his late teens, or his early 20’s?
He'd be about the same age he was in Episode 3;
-He was born during or shortly before the Phantom Menace.
-He's 10-11 years by Attack of the Clones.
-And is 13-14 in Revenge of the Sith.
At *most*, I'd say he's 15, assuming Bad Batch has longer "jumps" between certain episodes to stretch this a bit.

@@WildWeavile yeah, I’ve always wondered why the separatists needed to break in to get DNA during TCW episode, I still remember saying out loud “every clone trooper they kill has about 180lbs of dna they could do with as they please!”
This episode was really good. It seems that Dave is playing the ultimate game of "keep to the plot" where he tries to make every episode as important as possible. That way, not every episode would be considered "filler"
I knew Omega was important but not Boba Fett sister important it was a good episode.

I love how Lama Su and Nala Se are in an unidentified cat and mouse chase with Cad Bane and Fennec Shand being their board game characters.

That facility is defo abandoned and not still in use, that's why all the doors are deactivated and the satellite is so busted
Not to mention the nasty stuff growing in the tubes, which have turned green with how long they've been there, around the dead clones

Sadly using “alpha” and “omega” also opens the door for all the other Greek alphabet characters to eventually be used in future shows

I’m glad to see that Omega is back with her friends, but also worried about her ultimate fate. I really hope she doesn’t die. Also, with the revelation that Omega is not an altered clone, other than the fact that she is female, this explains a lot in terms of why she appears to be so young in comparison to the other clones.
Yep, this confirms that she doesn’t rapidly age either like the other clones do so if her future isn’t dark it would be cool if we could possibly see Omega make an appearance in the book of Boba Fett.
@@lejenddairy as much as I would like to see Omega in live action, I think we will need to wait sometime for her to make such an appearance. People are still getting an idea of who Omega is, and if they push the character on the audience, they may not receive her as well.

Even so, we have gotten this in many forms and situations in Star Wars. In any event, I agree. If they choose to kill her off, it wouldn’t be good. On many different levels.

The thing on Cad Bane's head so far seems to connect shot on his head during the unfinished Clone Wars Bounty Hunter Arc. And clearly makes it canon so far. There were those who foolishly said the arc is no longer canon. But right now, the thing on his head proved otherwise. This makes me think that this would encourage the makers to complete the unfinished episodes of Clone Wars when fans demand it so they can see the loose end complete.
Actually it seems that the large cybernetic on Bane head was already present in the deleted arc BEFORE he was shot by Boba

Darth Maul survived being cut in half, and falling down a pit. Also, SOMEHOW Palpatine survived being getting electrocuted, thrown down a reactor shaft, blowing up, and likely floating around in space for a while.

Gotta appreciate that character development with Nala se, before had no problem with "Terminating the malfunctioning clone" and druging fives mercilessly to keep the skin of the Kaminoans within the plan of Tiranus and Sidious.
Now Nala Se is just glad Omega is fine and she probably knows she is risking the skin for someone else, not paying much attention now the place of the Kaminoans within galactic relevance.
She finally appreciates life over materialism

it was cool to find out the truth of Omega's past and that she is the closest thing to a sister that Boba has, it would be evn cooler if he came to think of her as a sister as Boba is my fave character after Grogu.

Theory for last episode of the season
The bad batch all travel to kamino after learning of the kaminoan rebellion, and help the kaminoans. Cross hair is there, and in a medical chamber they take out his chip, and he joins their side. They keep omega in a safer spot where she is found by boba fett. He takes her as his sister and keeps her somewhere safe for the original trilogy. The bad batch are still fighting but they see a new shuttle land. This time only one individual exiting, darth Vader. They are all killed by Vader (maybe not echo cause he’s already been through a lot). We see omega return in the book of boba fett.
I am in an other country so I can't see the bad batch I hope you make more videos like this so I could know what happens
I always thought it was weird that Boba just decided to help Mando protect Grogu for basically no reason. I feel like if he meets Omega, basically his sister, and learns what lama su wants to do to her, it might be why he has empathy for Grogu in Mandalorian
I think War Mantle was the code name for the first phase of Dark Troopers. There are some comments about how they started as guys in suits. I could see some Lobot style Stormtroopers attacking the Kaminoans. If they could program in Order 66 they could likely program in their own failsafe, dealing with Palp it would be stupid not too.
If the deleted scene duel did happen they've got to explain Boba Fett's personality contradicting selflessness & high concern for innocence that he NEVER shows at all whatsoever every other time we've seen him.
The entire time they where on the old cloning facility I thought that failed clone or whatever was gonna wake up and do something but sadly it didn’t
The thing that fell on fennec is a actual alien like the green aliens that some people think are in area 51 which I thought was a nice little detail
I hope the clone rebellion differs a little from legends make it where some one the cloners and their clones survive the rebellion and help start up the first rebel cells
Nala Se seems to care about Omega. Perhaps she sees her as a daughter figure. And maybe just maybe she will redeem herself.

Nah, Kamino rebellion. It's definitely being hinted heavily. Which means we already know the fate of Omega and possibly 99. Not to say empire will use her DNA or any of the Kaminoan research for other endevours.

@@thankskanye1521 her DNA is the purest out of all of the clones aside from boba. The current Jango DNA is aging and is becoming harder to use for cloning more clones. Omega will end up being used for making new clones used in the rebellion against the empire and will possibly be when we see the introduction to boba. Recall the original battlefront 2.

My guess is that the bad batch will be a part of the kamino rebellion, though there is a chance that boba fett could make an appararance in the bad batch and his DNA could be used for the Kamino Rebllion that they're gonna do in Bad Batch. Who knows, this series is getting interesting with each episode

For those talking about how Bane should’ve kicked Fennec’s ass, it’s important to note that Bane has been a bounty hunter since before the clone wars (he’s known to have had a friendship/mutual respect with Jango Fett), and he may simply be getting old.

I like her character she’s great I don’t know that I like the fact that she is now an equal to Boba Fett it was more interesting if it was just only one unaltered clone now it just feels like anyone can be one but I still like her but I didn’t really like how now boba isn’t the only one kind of takes away the special connection from him😕
Well,I mean,Boba is popular enough so he will still be special in our hearts,and besides,knowing the Kaminoans,it makes sense for them to want a backup or something because they very much like to experiment
Shes not equal to Boba, she's just got pure DNA, boba didn't come out of the pod a badass, he lived his life and became one. We don't know how omega life is gonna turn out, she may never be a equal to boba.
I wouldn't say she's his equal, sure they're both pure jango but Omega lacks what Boba has, experience and Jango's lessons & code. Boba was trained by Jango himself since infancy and has already started bounty hunting during the Clone War while Omega has only recently started doing combat training with the bad batch.

I really want boba fett to show up again he is my favorite character. I wanted to see how he got his armor and his rise to be the best bounty hunter before the OG trilogy but at least we’ll see more of him in the book of boba fett soon.
I have a strong feeling that omega is the first clone to be force sensitive. Which is why the kaminoans desperately want her back. To rebuild a stronger army to go against the empire
I think the show will most likely end with the rebellion on Kamino and the batch and whoever else helps them in the show (Rex, Wolf, Gregor) come help and escape before the battle is lost and the batch sacrifice themselves to destroy a resource valuable to the empire
Damn thatd be badass if Cad Bane shows up in live action for the Book of Boba Fett!! I've thought about it before. We for sure are getting Bossk and I hope they have many more famous bounty hunters show up!

The Empire had no use for the criminals and that was because of palpatine's fear of a rebellion and that the clones could easily be genetically altered but I am wondering if Palpatine will use the cheminoins for the imperial project dark trooper specifically phase two and three long live the empire
