Super cool to see everyone support Micky and share there awesome times about him, great to see the industry pull together like that, situations like this don’t discriminate against champions or regular weekend warriors and it’s just awesome to see people get behind each other in tough times, wish it was more often for better reasons. Never met Micky just remember him first on Husky and then getting the Factory ride at Honda winning his first championship in his first year at Honda filling some pretty big shoes of the stars that were on that team the previous year and earlier and then back to back in 87, I was gutted he couldn’t or didn’t stay at Honda and as a young kid at the time couldn’t understand how a current 2x champ would not be back in red the next year, just never forgot that, he always was a cool rider and dude in the mags as I recall and loved seeing his time on the Whisky throttle show recently pre injury, one of the coolest Whiskey segments to date, really interesting cool guy. Wish him the best to recovery, keep up the support guys,🤙
Awesome fellas.. I was at Lake Sugar Tree in 89' and I remember hearing nothing but the parties that Dymond would throw back then.. Heather Locker was there that year as well hanging around him.. From what I could tell in the pits, they didn't get much sleep from the night before the race.. That's for sure.. : 0) I enjoyed watching Damon Bradshaw back in those days as well.. He was incredible at Sugartree. Also, I remember watching an incredible amateur named Rusty Coleman on that track as well that year.. One of the fastest guys I had ever seen to be honest, and then got burnt out and quit the sport.. The last race I ever saw him race was there.. Thanks fellas for the video, I hope Micky the best..
