They didn't really play the game. Ubisoft just hired actors to make them look like they're playing the game. While having gameplay of the actual game. The only ones who have played the game are playtesters. They should be proud that they could play the game. Lol
But actually. I did some searches and think this is so. They were both uploaded on May 11, 2006. It could show a different day depending on time zones and stuff but idk. These were the first Rayman and Rabbids videos unless there was a deleted one or one didn't mention it was Rayman. The other one is called Rayman Raving Rabbids Trailer uploaded by Patrick Hansel (the a in Hansel has some accent mark or something, though.)
I would have given anything short of my body, mind, and soul to play this game. Except for my Lego collection or my collection of Sentimental Plushies.
this might happen! creator of rayman said he would make a 3d rayman game after he makes beyond good and evil 2 and his other project called wild! cant wait man! hope it turns out the way i want it to be
Este juego tenía una pintaza... Ubisoft se volvio ''tarumba'' por todas las ideas que les vinieron con los nuevos controles de wii, que en vez de un aventura/plataformas, sacaron un minijuegos
Who knew what this tiny side-franchise could've become had it stayed like this instead of becoming a mini-game collection like what we ended up getting.
The game began development in Ubisoft's Montpellier Studio, during the later stages of making King Kong, when the developers were looking to create the "ultimate enemy" for use in the next Rayman game. The studio head Michel Ancel sketched an initial
Damn, I remember being in 7th or 8th grade when this trailer came out. I was looking for games to get for my Wii and this was one of them. Of course I was disappointed to see it was nothing like this.
such as hawk and tarantula riding. While Ancel was seen as one of the main figures behind the project before E3, he left the project after the revamp, and is only credited with character design in the final game.
most of you guys might not have noticed, but rayman's moves in 1:20 to 1:33 ARE in the final game, you can use them in the minigame "bunnies have natural rhythm"
Wow I remember being so hyped about this game. then I found out it turned into a party game, which wasn't bad, but Ubi decides to make 3 sequels to it, which was actually getting boring after. >:
upon receiving development kits from Nintendo, the team began focusing on implementing a wide range of gameplay types. When it became clear that these were not going to fit into a traditional platformer game, Rayman Raving Rabbids was altered to become a game consisting of separated trials. Because of this, some of the trials and concepts revealed before the game's release did not appear in the final game,
The final version of this got old fast and had nothing to do with Rayman. And it's getting a sequel. Please, Ubi, give us the old Rayman back! The gameplay and atmosphere was wonderful.
You know what's a batshit insane idea that could actually work for a modern 3D Rayman now? Do something like this but the control scheme of ARMS and using that for intuitive platforming and physics puzzles.
I remember seeing this trailer when I was younger but I didn't have a Wii back then, when I finally got the game I was like this wasn't what was on the trailer
concept for a rabbit character, and from there, the idea of a mass invasion of bunnies grew. The team then began work on a traditional action adventure platformer, then tentatively called Rayman 4. However,
Well I am kinda pleased becuase I found the original Rayman games rather unoriginal as an adventure game (just my opinion). These rabbids add comedy and originality to the Rayman series.
C'mon everyone. Yeah sure the final ver. of the game was nothing but Mini-Games and not this. But it's like Mario Party. Something different and new for the whole family to enjoy. This is Rayman's Party game, and I find it pretty fun. Rayman is still alive, these bunnies didn't kill him. Who said heroes can't take breaks? Me for one, I enjoyed Raving Rabbids, even if it was a letdown...I still enjoy it.
I would have liked to see the platformer. I mean the minigame one we have now is great, but the platformer would be sweet too. (can't wait for the next raving rabbids this fall)
i agree. It looked alot better as an adventure game. I know what was gonna happen if it stayed an adventure game. With the player being able to ride animals and all that awesome stuff. I have Raving rabbids for the PS2 and its awesome, but i feel itll be even better if it was an action game. Rayman 3 i feel is the absoulut best rayman so far.
If you've played the Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 for DS it is very similar to the point in this trailer, but all the other RRR's for DS are minigame packed, the first one i thought was very fun
it's true that this game came out as party game, but it was still to be counted as a rayman adventure game, cuz it has a story that progresses trough the game and also came out for consoles like the xbox and playstion 2, not to mention the ds and gba versions are platformers, the games that came after this one are considerd as party ones.
These 2 boys and the grandpa should be really proud of themselves because they have the chance to play the actual Rayman 4......
these 3 legends got to experience what took 16 years for the rest of the world to play
@@MIITRIN Very true

Yea
One of the first Rayman UA-cam videos!

The original design for the Rabbids is creepy...
yea
Yeah
Because that’s what they were supposed to be in the game
I thought I was the only one who thought that, but apparently someone thinks the same as me
Tell me about it
The GBA version is the true Raving Rabbids after all
and NDS
The ds version its just Rayman 2 2d c'mon
I Played it On The Wii
@@hexagooncon2o27 Well it does use the rayman 2 engine it makes RRR out of it
Hey You!
These Guys From The Trailer Posted The Prototype! (The Grandpa Is Dead)
Based on my core memory of the original Rayman games, this definitely fit the art style and creepiness. Should’ve kept it.
I prefer this darker take on the Rabbids SO MUCH over what they were turned into later. This feels so right
I would have given anything short of my body, mind, and soul to play this game. Except for my Lego collection or my collection of Sentimental Plushies.
That old man basically lost his wife,so he used gramma Rayman to remember her
Cool
@@hexagooncon2o27 🗿
I wish this were the actual rayman raving rabbids game.
i hope ubisoft get an idea of making this prototype a reality
Micheal ancel said he might revive this project someday.
Well... if they’re not milking the crap out of The assassin‘s creed series, then this game would be great
1:10, cue Rayman in his most badass form EVER!!!!
BracedEwe687 which we never got to play except on the gba
The early build for this would’ve been awesome to play!
Why are you the only comment available?
@@greyshadow5575 there are more comments then 1 now…..
And now the build is leaked online! Check it out.
This didn't age very well considering how unfinished the build we have is
I wonder how would it be if the game was the same as the trailer!
It would have been awesome, but really physical when you're on Wii !
Some developers need to fucking make this version already
Guys admit it we all actually thought this was going to be in the game
I didn't
+Doctor Nefarious Yes you did
iain2k7 I didn't because the game already came out when i was born. XD
Doctor Nefarious Lol ok, that makes sense!
I saved all my money to buy this game on launch, then it turned out to be a shitty minigame collection. I was pissed as fuck
I still remember Murfy saying "see you in rayman 4"....
10 years since this trailer u_u
make that 11
Illusion is a depressed maniac apparently 12
The Ocean Man More like 13
15 xd
Nah Like 14
Idk why but I really like this version of the rabbids
I thought the game was going to be like this but instead it was " screw it make it a party game!"
this might happen! creator of rayman said he would make a 3d rayman game after he makes beyond good and evil 2 and his other project called wild! cant wait man! hope it turns out the way i want it to be
He just retired from the game development industry :(
Ahhh, a time when commercials were allowed to be weird as all fuck.
Aha. I think the Rabbids are adorable. =)
the Raving Rabbids are probably Rayman's most wicked enemy, it's a little too weird that in Rabbids Go Home you play as RAYMAN'S enemy lol
that's the best promo ive seen...
kinds of Rabbids that are unused:
the similar to nowdays Rabbids.
the Small and Fat.
the Tall and Thin.
the Weird ones.
the One-Eyed giant Bunnies.
the exesive motion c.... wait... that's actually in the game
Rabbids original design:fuzzy creepy
Rabbids now:cute better not fuzzy
Edit: why I made this 💀
This trailer rocks! Long live the Raymen Kids!
I remember when this first came out, I didn't know anything about Rayman... all I knew where the Rabbids. xD
this game+new bunnies=awesomeness!!!!
Looks like rabbids were angry lol😅
Love the grandpa at the end!
Fui el único que le gusto como lucia este juego? :0
My childhood! Where the motherfuck have y'all been?!?!?!?
14 AÑOS DESDE ESTE TRAILER no se q decir al respecto
What I wouldn't give to have Rayman in my living room.
Well they didn't actually steal it.They just bought the rights :)
As for Rayman Raving Rabbids-I love this game!I think I'm addicted :D
I love the gameplay!! so much fun!! and a lot of moves for the sedentaries!! lol
Best Times ever....

aww, man.
This could've been the Next Dynasty warriors.
This should have been the real game
It's actually the Pulp Fiction Intro Theme.
Black Eyed Peas used it in their "Pump it" song.
hahah Michael Jackson dance in the end.. how cool ;D
Who knew what this tiny side-franchise could've become had it stayed like this instead of becoming a mini-game collection like what we ended up getting.
I can believe the changed the game from an epic platformer, to a mario party rip-off
Cool I love zombies rabbids
Thank god that they got rid off the fur
and the 'good game' aspect of it. :S
Dunno, i liked the minigames and especially the Light Gun parts, they also got a really cool platformer with Rabbids Go Home!

This is before they turned Rayman raving Rabbids into a mini game
@controllerfreak78 well, finally, you're right. There will be "Rayman Origins" and "Raving Rabbids travel in Time"

Rabbids went from fluffy cavemen to smooth abominations.
Looks Amazing is Cool.
that would've been a cool game.
can't wait until the next rayman 3D platformer
LOL the ending was funnier than Tippy with spikey blue hair.
I hope they make a game like this one day. It makes you wonder what they did with all of this, because none of it appeared in the first Rabbids game.
Crazy how it went from this to what it is now.
Michel Ancel is a gamegod, and this trailer proves that once more.
I love this game!
this version became the gba and ds version of the game
that's allot of unused Rabbids...
i cant hold my langu now!!! this is so funny! =]
I love this so much my sons are so looks like it too and me
