This reminded me of an instance decades ago when i was in grade school. I collected rocks and had a really cool collection that i brought in for a show and tell thing. Along the shorter rocks i had a relatively large shard of obsidian that i warned the teacher was very, very sharp. She warned the class.
Class troublemaker first tried to steal the obsidian and when i called it out as missing, decided to cut his hand with it. Blood everywhere. FFS ruining everything for the class.

A gentle correction, NASA is pronounced with a "short" a for both. It doesn't sound the same as the Island, Nassau, in the Bahamas.

OMG! When I was in 2nd grade, once a month we had show and tell. There was a pair of twins in my class who were very odd girls. One day they were on their way to school and they found a duck that had been run over by a car. One of the girls put her lunch in the other ones lunch box and they put the dead duck in her lunch box. Show and Tell got real interesting that day! My teacher almost puked on the desk when those girls started pulling the pieces of dead duck out of the lunch box and showing everyone the guts!! At least the dead duck didn't try to eat the class though!!! You are a most awesome author, and I look forward to your stories every day!!
