R34 has been my dream since 1999-2000, Tokyo extreme racer zero, black with a wide body, beat the Ridox Supra with it to finish the game. Yours has been fun to watch from Seedhunters days to….
Can't wait to see how your R34 is doing. Used to drive some BMWs, but the modern offerings are getting so heavy that I've kinda just wandered back towards older more analogue vehicles(I may have gone to far, as now I need to restore/refresh an S30... But with 90s JDM market being what it is, I'll just have to find other options to tinker with).
Best of luck Dino! Reuniting with your project car is like getting back together with an old friend. Finally got mine running as well, it's a weird feeling having it usable lol
I love the attention to detail you see in Japanese shops. Whether it's this one with the complete German aesthetic to some of the home garages Larry has had a chance to visit. You get the feeling that they care more about the whole experience of automobiles and the culture than so many western shops. Also, classy car 👍
Thank you so much man for this lovely vedio , as usual you make me love japan more and more , and your BMW is super super good looking car , specially white color with red interior , I used to work for Range Rover as a sales consultant, and this color is one of the most beautiful colors on BMW and on Range Rover as well.
Looks lovely Dino. I was about to type out that you should have probably balanced those wheels before doing the coating as the weights may not adhere properly. Insane that it needed no weights! Ive made the mistake of coating wheels with (the same coating) and having the weights come off after a bit of driving! Anyhow , enjoyed this one, car looks sick!
Nice to see the F33 in a proper feature. The B58 is a fantastic motor and you may want to consider a mild tune like bootmod or mhd on it. This generation of BMW is aging well and I think is the right balance of modern design without being as shocking and excessive like the G series. I like the “325” license plate as that was always a classic 3 series with a proper six cylinder. I recently sold my F20 116 which was also a fantastic daily. All I had on it was the Dixcel M type brake pad which nearly eliminates brake dust which may be a good thing to consider with those new wheels.
@@dino_dc HA! That plate idea is awesome. My daughter has actually come up with the same idea for license plate on that future mythical day when I actually get a fun car to drive again.
i would love to see more Rotary JP cars if possible . Great video man the BMW is dope. and i agree that grill on the new BMW look so bad its horrible ....
Nice 440i with the BBSes, it does sit very nicely lowered on the KW coilovers. Not a fan of convertibles due to lack of structural support but sure looks cool as a daily, that said can't wait to check out the R34!
Those wheels are gorgeous! Wheels and suspension make for an incredible transformation! (I'm with you on the ridiculous new grill, I'm not down with it 🤢)
Hey Dino! I was wondering if you could maybe do some Alfa Romeo content for one of your future videos? I'd love the see what the japenese "Alfista" culture is like, i know for a fact there are a few out there, maybe you can find some?? I think it would be great and refreshing to see something a little bit different. Thanks!
I have been daily driving my mom's M440i the past few months while I've looked for a car. Love the car, but the grille is a little bit ugly to be honest. Like you said, it looks way better on the M cars.
sexy 440i guy, just got my 440i convertible and dont think bags r gunna work out and i was gunna go with 19" wheels but after seeing this i think 20"s fs u did say these tires in the video were "thin sidewalled" do you think i could run a bigger tire on a similar setup without rubbing? and if u dont mind the width of thoes bbs lm-r's i may have todo the opposite and get lm's hehehe.
Hi! I have the same car with xdrive, h&r springs and the steering feedback is awfull compared to the earlier bmws. Did you feel big improvement in the feeling after the istallation of the kw kit? Thx!
@@dino_dc Thank you for the answer! Nevertheless, i think this car is one of the best allrounder. Its fast, beauty, luxy, comfy, the sound is lovely, can put the kids to the back seats. Its cool.
Finally catching up with the content on my own cars! Next up will be resurrecting my R34 GTR!
Don’t make me feel guilty 😂 - hope you can feature the rebirth

Would love to see a personal garage tour of your own cars and parts collection
Best of luck Dino! Reuniting with your project car is like getting back together with an old friend. Finally got mine running as well, it's a weird feeling having it usable lol
The 440i looks so cool on those BBS wheels! Looking forward to watch the R34 GT-R resurrection. Great work, as always, loving your content!
Coming soon!

They certainly do! And thank you
15:43 that road scenery was made for driving, I almost cried. I don't live in a country that has nice roads. That place looks perfect. 🔥
Yes it’s paradise, we’re very lucky in Tokyo to be so close to some of the best driving roads
Great video. I love the vibe you’re cultivating with your videos. Also was cool to see a project car.
More to come!
A proper car dude you are. Even Rolls Royce are not spared when the needs to ferry set of rims on the rear seats arise.
They got ferried in pure style 😆
Quality parts, Dino san! BBS are indeed a flex in Japan.
Thanks!
What a transformation! Congrats
Yeah that’s what I thought, amazing what a set of wheels & a lowering can achieve
Love the build, keep up the work man!
Thanks, will do!
1. It looks SOOOO much nicer wheels
2. You did right changing for the grill
Thank you!

Japan is the place to be if you’re into cars! Thank you!
You did it right! It actually *looks* lighter than it is 👌👌👌

Thanks for the tip!
The white Bmw convertible with BBS is in excellent taste.
Thank you!!
I still need a bmw in my life. I love em.
Very nicely done. The BBS are 🏆
Thank you!
Man, that looks so good!
Thanks, done with it now 👌🏻

Yeah thought about it a tune, might do it, not sure yet. 325 is nothing to go with BMW, it’s my wife’s name written in Japanese numbers 😂

That BMW is so Clean man 🔥
Dope content !!
Glad you like it!

Tastefully done bro! Nice 440i cheers
Thanks!

Thanks! Need to nail wheels & stance to get any car looking good!
Just subscribed. You are making really cool videos, like it!
Thanks for subscribing! Happy to hear that!
Lovely
Killa Bbs
Thank you!! LMR for the win!
Can you make video about A-RF's 6 rotor Cosmo? Nice video as always.
Definitely, he's finally set it up and is driving the car!
Nice Dino!
Thanks!
Sweet Vids dude 🙌🏾
Appreciate it!

That’s a very good idea, in fact there are a couple I want to visit!
@@dino_dc Sounds great :D Looking forward to it!
Beautiful 4 Series. Looks great on those rims. Is it Mineral White or Alpine White?
Thank you! Alpine white
Almost bought 440i convertible.....same specs as yours but ended up buying 650i convertible lol sometimes i think if i made the right decision.....lol
The 6 is a massive car, looks good though
Do you mind if I ask how much does labor cost for a wheel install of wheels, tires and suspension in Japan? Just curious.
Depends on shop to shop

I don’t think bigger tires are possible, you would run. Wheels are 20x9 & 20x10
I agree, the new gen looks super ugly. Sweet mods, happy safe travels. Might we see more of the GT-R? I miss that project of yours.
Working on it, soon…
Hi!
I have the same car with xdrive, h&r springs and the steering feedback is awfull compared to the earlier bmws.
Did you feel big improvement in the feeling after the istallation of the kw kit?
Thx!
Yeah it definitely loads up more mid corner but nothing compared to an hydraulic rack
@@dino_dc Thank you for the answer! Nevertheless, i think this car is one of the best allrounder. Its fast, beauty, luxy, comfy, the sound is lovely, can put the kids to the back seats. Its cool.
Nice...Dino may I ask what is the offset of your 20-inch BBS LM-R wheels front and rear? Much appreciate it
+32
how much lower is it on this KW suspension comparing to stock one?
Quite a lot, a good 35-40 mm
what are wheel width and offset?
20x9 & 20x10
great ride but i am probably on the wrong planet if this is a daily or probably like the most of us broke
