Love that you extol the build quality - people used to rag on mini interiors and quality but as BMW has improved quality over the years so has Mini. The current gen cars truly feel like baby Bimmers. Glad you’re enjoying it!
Damn...if they could somehow manage to double the range with a larger battery pack this would be one sweet car. I realize it's targeted more as a second vehicle for most people, but I wouldn't mind having this as my only car if it had, say, 250 miles of range.
Yeah, the range on the MINI really limits its appeal to people with at home/work charging or as a secondary vehicle. The new one that should be out in a year or two is going to have much better range!
That is exactly what the sales manager told me about this iteration. He said they need to get the range to at least 250. We ended up with a 2024 Mini Cooper S 4 Door Hardtop Signature trim in Zesty Yellow; love it!
Yes, it will lose range with the AC on. But if you drive around 70 mph and keep the AC in the 70s it won’t be much. You’ll lose a lot more the faster you go above 70 than because of the AC.

100%. It is so solid. I am littler nervous about the quality as they start building them in China, but they are coming back to Oxford eventually.

This version just had the Yelloe S and the plug badges. That will be on the new ground up ones I believe.
