- I practically lost my mind when they said that Wayne Brady was going to sing "Wait For It" from the musical "Hamilton"!
I loved him "In Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and I've listened to the soundtrack of "Hamilton" so many times that I sing along to it in my car, so yeah...mind blown!

I'm not surprised......Wayne Brady is a multi-talent and he stared as Aaron Burr in the Chicago company of Hamilton for like 6 months!

I saw him in Chicago. Wayne's Burr was strong, charming and funny. I knew he could sing, but I was taken aback by his vocals. He was VERY good.
@@aubunker Oh yes he definitely has Broadway "chops". You should be to find video of him doing freestyle rap for the Broadway Cares charity when he was playing Burr in Chicago! Wayne also took over the role of Lola in Kinky Boots once Billy Porter left the show!
I got to see him as Lola in Kinky Boots when I went to NY, he slayed that too. The cast also did a freestyle for charity. I guess the imrpov side doesn't surprise anyone but seeing it live was still a top experience in my life
How has this man not visibly aged since I watched him on Whose Line Is It Anyway in the early 2000s? 😂

I don’t know how I only just realized that this is the only casting for Aaron Burr that could ever be as good as Leslie. But hot DAMN gotta love Wayne. I - no joke - regularly rewatch his Masked Singer performances because they’re so good
I thought i was the only one. I watch his masked singer stuff all the time. He's phenomenal.
I actually quite like Lyndon Watts as Aaron Burr from the Australian production as much as I like Leslie. He just suited burr so well but also didn’t seem quite as harsh as Leslie, he added a bit of something to the performance. (Not saying I don’t like Leslie, I do, I just enjoy seeing how different actors portray the characters and I think Lyndon’s is lovely)
Nik walker is a better burr IMO

Wayne Brady as Burr is S tier casting, the man is phenomenally talented. If he ever decides to bring his talent to Broadway, I'm scoring another ticket

I met him at a stage door in NYC when he was in 'Chicago' - he was the COOLEST, nicest, most gracious & chatty dude I ever met. Took photos, answered questions, made us laugh. I'll never forget it. Incredible guy

Wayne Brady's phenomenal to have been put on the spot by Christopher Jackson in that moment, clearly very nervous, and still perform that well. Not that I'm surprised. Any "Whose Line..." fan knows he's an amazing singer.

I would have loved to see him play the character in Chicago. I didn't get to start seeing Hamilton live until last year. I've seen it twice now. But I have loved him since watching who's line as a kid. Glad to finally see a video of him singing one of the songs atleast.

Update: I saw the Show twice and this Cast amazing, the And Peggy Tour Cast 10/10 DeAundre' Woods is a perfect Hamilton and much better than Lin. Morgan Anita Wood delivered Eliza so so well, Donald Webber Jr as Burr was amazing. Darnell Abraham absolute perfection as Washington. I'm going to see the Show for a 3rd time later this year in New York, this will be my first time ever seeing it on Broadway and I cannot wait

I loved this he's a great singer but all i could focus on was the fact he messed up the line "Hamilton faces an endless uphill climb" he sang a line from a little later instead but it was still amazing!

I love Wayne’s singing but sorry, he’s no Leslie Odom when it comes to playing Aaron Burr. I believe in making a character your own but Leslie one is a tough act to follow with his amazing performances and two Wayne doesn’t personify this character for me. He didn’t command it as Leslie did. Kudos for doing the Chicago shows and his amazing voice in his own right but I can see why he never did the Broadway renditions.
