Well sometimes not everyone has a business, and I bought balloons from amazon because, I live in a small town and it'd be hard to acquire the high quality ones. I just needed them for my birthday, and if you're just looking for something for a birthday or a small party I'd say it's good enough 🤷🏻♀️

I bought 2 balloon sets and a few statement balloons off Shein for under $25 for my nephew and niece's birthday party, which I did myself. The balloons were thinner, but didn't have the color issue your kit seemed to have. We only had a few pop during assembly and because kids played with the balloon arch, but otherwise they worked really well. We got plenty of compliments and even some people asking for us to do their kid's next event (I have a job, so no).
My issue was I tried to find quality balloon sites, but they either wanted me to be a business owner, or I wasn't able to get the number of balloons I wanted and would have had buy more than necessary. Seems like quality is either gatekept or cost prohibitive, and hiring for it is really too out of budget.
all depends on your setup and needs of client. the decision to use this kind of special balloons is on the client, not the decorator.
I started watching these videos just to figure out how to assemble the display for boyfriend’s 60th birthday party coming up on November 4th. Not looking to start a business so don’t want to blow a budget on just balloons!

We newbies who jus want some cheap balloons enjoy buying these kits. (Based on my conversion rate they are sometimes expensive)
Fa real tho I understand ur frustration especially when u r used to doing something for so long professionally. Was listening to a balloon podcast the other day and learnt that "balloon is not a necessity it is a luxury". In that way clients will pay for the art work. It is indeed a lot of work especially when you have to arrange and organize colour schemes. Balloon art is a lot of work, the materials are expensive and the work put into it is also expensive. U guys are great at what you do. Keep it up

You had already decided to hate it before starting to assemble it. "Pros" will never say anything good about what you can buy at Amazon for a fraction of the price. This was entertaining, but not at all fair. Still buying the Amazon kit, I find it beautiful

she's a professional reviewing a product just as any other professional of another field would. Her points were all true, it was false advertising, the balloons didn't match, they were blotchy, and not even enough in the kit to create what was in the picture.Thats the point of the review.

I agree Natalie! You can also tell by her attitude, smirks on her face throughout, and negative tone. She was correct about the colors for sure, but sounded like she had an agenda from the start to build up her own brand
I’m new to the game of balloon business, but as someone who has always used Amazon balloons in the past for personal events/parties, my first professional grade set up was a night and day difference.
Some Amazon kits have been decent quality and I had no issues, but I you can feel the difference in the balloon quality, let alone see the difference.
In the second one do you still need kit holder but you only used modling balloons

Prime example of “you get what you pay for.” I’ve used Amazon kits & I’ve used top notch brands. The kit examples do tend to be misleading & the balloons are considerably thinner. You can’t compare a kit price to a balloon artist’s pricing. She’s charging for labor, artistry, & expertise. Same reason you pay more for a professional to do jobs for you that you could DIY for half the price.
She knew the quality from the get go, so sure, she was going to be biased, but great example for others to see the comparison between a DIY kit & a professional grade product.

To use the balloon strip. You have to attach the balloon alternate and skip 1 for the next one.
Do you knot the 260 when you use it to create the garland or just keep wrapping around?
Yes, knot it when you start and when you finish!

You get what you pay for. As a professional I have hit and misses with the balloon kits. I always buy a few to keep on hand just in case but I prefer professional quality balloons. It’s the difference between high end and dollar tree in my opinion
You sure do. The cheaper balloons serve a purpose but not a professional look. Love the luxe look

That is just a file. You can use anything long . I use long wooden thick skewers, chop sticks.

I think you should have added the same back drop stand to the Amazon Kit like you did with yours, along with the decor.
Seems like as a professional you could make it work either way, but for viewers to get a better understanding and clearer picture of the way it will look it’s best to have both stand look similar to compare cosmetic flaws.
Try again because they look the same only difference is the colors and the amount

Is it necessary to use helium for a garland?
Nope, helium isn't used in most garlands...they are usually tied down with 260 balloons or like fishing line.
Helium is only for when you want the balloons to float!

So buy 4 Amazon kits to double stuff and double the size and get it for half the prices still
you can definitely try this, don't forget to count the time that you spend and outside factors like (outside setup, direct sun, etc)

I don’t see anything wrong with the Amazon kit. I actually like the amazon color balloons better then the so called more expensive one.
False advertisement on the kit + the balloons themselves are very cheaply made compared to the professional grade ones
I have made my own balloon garlands myself and I have use kits to and I have never had the issues you had, you just got a bad one lmao. I would say just be smart on the brand and the one you buy next time because most balloons kit are worth it if your a beginner.
You can clearly see that she wasn't trying at all with the balloon kit its clearly her fault for not looking at the descriptions and rating and it seems obvious that when you do it yourself its gonna come out that way you want it to.
So happy you have had good experiences with kits. I suppose its must be the brand . Thankyou
I found out the hard way not to order balloons from Amazon because the quality is not good and it wasn’t enough balloons in there that’s why they are cheaper
As a professional balloon artist, when clients call for pricing they are often taken aback by the price because they will send me the picture from Amazon and say, “I can get these balloons for less than $20 and you charge how much???” Some will have the nerve to say, “I will buy the kit will you put it together for me? “. Of course I would never accept that - you know the client that brings up the Amazon kit will never pay what I charge. Oh well.
It can be frustrating! But in the ends it's just a matter of educating people who wouldn't really know about all the supplies and work that go into balloon art!

So you almost tripped the amount of balloons, added backdrops and flowers and doubled layer your balloons and want to compare them? Yeah definitely will work….😂 i don’t think anyone is going on Amazon hoping to get the same outcome as a professional…….
sorry that you have missed the point... We have recreated the Picture from the Garland Kit - that's what they are saying that you will get. and what is in the box is not even close to what the expectation is :)

You can't do a fair comparison video with one garland being single balloons while the other double stuffed, regardless of the quality. Other than that great content!

the main point of the video is to show that amazon kit sellers using pictures of professional garland creations and do not have enough balloons or quality balloons that will reproduce same outcome as on their advertised picture.
