Loving the Angel bird CF express SE 512GB. Used it for 422 10bit h265 all-I recording at a food truck event. Used it to take photos of chickens running around my store parking lot at 40fps ES. Bought 3 of them. I also received my 325GB Delkin Black from the Fujifilm promo which is super nice.
Hey I know this is an old YT short, but if possible do you know if you have to get a CF Type B reader to transfer files or are you able to transfer files via usb-c to usb-c similar to SD Cards on the XH2s? Thanks for the reply if you get around to it!! I just picked up the 512 AV Pro SE for the XH2s and excited to use it but just need more info! There's like 0 videos on it haha
@@CineDailies I heard of this problem and was told it might be a mac specific problem or cable specific problem. The XH2s appears on my computer and I'm able to transfer files via the USB-C cable. Worse case scenario it doesnt appear for CF Express B and I just order a reader haha but thank you!
@@CineDailies ugly workaround but if you open up Photos app on mac you'll see the camera is detected there... you can import into Photos and then drag to your desktop. Not best solution but may come in handy if you forget your card reader and need to pull photos/videos out on a mac.
Being looking a cheaper alternative to the main ones I could find. This looks really good value but is it too good to be true? How does the card perform in proress hq or 4k120. Any bottleneck?
That's exactly my question too. I don't want to have to deal with losing 512GB of data! Every once a while you read about people losing their entire shoot...
Did you end up needing to update the firmware of the card or did it work out the box? I got the 1tb version of these cards and they ended up not working with my xh2s
Also the card reader needed to update the card didn't even say it was compatible to update my 1tb so these angelbird products are making me warey about trying out the the smaller cards
@@CineDailies yeah I did, they don't work on the weekends so my question won't be answer until Monday, thanks for the reply though, if all fails with this card I'll end up returning it and getting 2 512 cards instead
@@CineDailies So the card no longer mounts and is impossible to even format it in the camera; I will be sending them the card for a possible solution. I had been using it for a couple of minutes before it crashed.

Does the SE (512gb)variant works well with all the ProRess formats?

Hey man! For some reason, the xh2s does not show up as a drive when connect to the mac via usbc. So I use the CF express b card reader.

You'll need a CF card not the cf express type b
How's the failure rate on these cards? How many weeks or months before they brick?
I've had them for 1.5 years now. The only pain point is they crack

Worked just fine after I formated the card in the camera

DO NOT use this card, it fucking overheats and stop working at random! You will lose your footage!
Did you contact customer service? Your card is under warranty and there uscrecovery software
