Don't blame them for not answering questions. They obviously can get away with it, so they are going to continue to do it. Blame the people who are supposed to be "overseeing" them, and supposed to be making sure they are holding them accountable, and who are supposed to be making sure the Citizens are getting their money worth from these organizations, that the citizens never got to vote on from being established.

I support Republicans on most issues, except this one, because I know first hand that maximum telework can (in some cases) improve productivity if it is properly monitored. Of course, this all depends on whether the work is appropriate for telework and can be measured. Telework also has the benefit of reducing congestion, fuel/energy consumption, emissions, and commuter stress. Again, ONLY if it results in higher productivity that benefits the taxpayers. The goal should always be a limited, but efficient government that's severs and is accountable to the people.

We could probably downsize the entire federal government by 80 percent and that would be enough workforce to deliver something of value benefit. so the questions isn't really how many people...but what is the specific product...the value benefit...something tangible. I am a small business owner. My workforce is just large enough to do the work and not too small to make it terrible for any one person to do the work. this same basic principle needs to be established in the administrative federal government.
