Hey Jack, have you ever tried the Deizel Herbert pedal? If you have and since you mentioned that the VH42 pedal was close to your VH2 amp, do you think in your opinion that the Hebert pedal is close sounding to the amp?

I've never tried the Herbert pedal. I've tried a Herbert amp and they do sound amazing. It's not the same as a VH4 obviously but it's a great high gain amp. In my opinion as good as a VH4.
