@@hunterneel7293 literally Noah should have been the vocalist for this entire song. The other vocalist does not compare. This is the only thing that’s killing me about this song. They really ruined it with The Word Alive’s vocalist.
I can't quite put my finger on it. TWA choruses after dark matter where one of my favorite parts of the band along with the guitars. Something just doesn't feel the same with these new songs. I was legit obsessed with the band during violent noise and mono but it just doesn't feel the same for some reason. What's even more odd, is on paper it sounds like exactly what I want from the band. Lower tuning, melodies, not as formulaic etc etc. it's still early as I wonder if maybe this is just a grower type record. But nothing is really reeling me in as of now and none of the songs are sticking in my head. I know they pretty much have an entirely new lineup now. I'm here to support the band and glad to see them doing so well! Just kind of curious if anyone else might be feeling this way as well?? It's almost the exact same feeling I've had lately with Nonpoint and 10 years. Who have been two of my favorite bands for a LONG time. Like TWA both of those bands work there ass off and are very consistent. But also like TWA, they have had major lineup shifts to the point where I think that thing that initially hooked me into the band PERSONALLY, is just gone.
This is a masterpiece, the whole album is actually. You guys should be so proud of yourselves, I can’t think of a better band to collab with than Bad Omens, such a killer duo 🫶🏼

This song is underrated and my favorite song on the album so far. I listened to the album 2 full times so far and I’ve had this song on repeat for at least 45 minutes to an hour total.
This song kinda sounds like the first Bad Omens album, great collab, first time listening to The World Alive, now going with the Normandie feat. right now 🔥
Damn it Noah Sebastian is damn good. You can tell there's such a big difference to the chorus we he sings it. Favourite Word Alive song but only cause Noah sings in it. Him and Nick Thurl Mavromatis of October Ends are by far my favourite two vocalists in the scene. Shame Nick and October Ends are so underrated.
