They're not lying, I couldn't believe I saw Salt N Pepa on the lineup at this BBQ festival in Boston maybe 2 years ago, and I was AMAZED at how they still got it!! Crazy energy, crowd loved them, it was like nothing changed... Honestly a better show than most of the new people i've seen live

This is what these new kids need to understand work hard in your younger years so in your 40's and 50's and beyond you can still be booked a year in advance and be able to raise the price and people will pay.
Groups in general always get the short end of everything. People love to go back in history and say Lil Kim and Foxy Brown started the whole "sexually charged" and "explicit" lyrics along but fail to remember that it was these two that started it. Also whenever people talk about females in rap they forget about Left Eye. In my opinion, she was the female Tupac on the rise that was so socially conscious in her rap abilities. Salt N Pepa's third album is the best!
