Born and raised in rural Eastern Oregon, Misty has always had a deep affinity for the outdoors. Her journey first led her to Idaho County in 1996, where she spent her initial years as a horseback and whitewater rafting guide. Misty also served as a licensed packer and camp cook for a hunting outfitter in Dixie, Idaho. The passion for her surroundings in Idaho County was evident as she led adventurers through the mesmerizing landscapes, earning herself a reputation as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
In 1998, Johnson started a new chapter in her professional life when she joined US Bank. Beginning her career as a teller, she showed her mettle, working her way up to a loan officer's role before becoming a branch manager. Her near 15 year tenure, marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence, earned her much respect within the industry.
In 2001 she married a fifth-generation Idaho County rancher. Together, they now own farm ground and a ranch with a small cattle feedlot. Her experience in ranching, coupled with her keen interest in Idaho's natural beauty and potential, has primed her for her next venture in real estate.
In her free time, Misty revels in an array of outdoor activities, from gardening to horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and discovering Idaho's hidden gems. Misty and her husband are the proud parents of two children, Dean Johnson, a student athlete playing football for College of Idaho, and Molly Johnson, a student athlete, on the college rodeo team at University Of Western Montana.
Today, Misty is leveraging her years of experience and intimate knowledge of Idaho County to help others find their dream homes. With her diverse background, deep understanding of the region, and a passion for service, Misty is poised to make a significant impact in Idaho's real estate sector. Misty worked as Administrative Assistant to her brokers at United Country for a few years before deciding to get her real estate license.
