@Jack Burcell Entire album is 2 drummers. The song Divorced on Crybaby is 2 of everything too. Kylesa is another sludge band that uses two drummers and it sounds amazing, it’s almost oppressive.
No, you're all missing the point about the video! It's perfect for A History of Bad Men. The man is going into the shipping container to fetch more of the corpses he stashed there, to make into another batch of the sausages shown at the beginning. The glassy-eyed crowd is listless because they're hungrily waiting for more of the Human Hotdogs they've become addicted to, and they clap at the end because at last they're going to be fed. The perfect Melvins film.
lotusflowerdeathstar He doesn’t on the record either, I thought he sang it at first til I tried to sing along as was like, whoa this is way higher than any other Melvins song 😂
My best friend who lived in Seattle was a huge fan of these guys.He always wanted me to check them out and I just now did.I can honestly say I dont get it but they're not bad .If my friend was still with us he would drive me crazy now that I've listened to them until I gave him a definitive answer if I like them or not.Rip Louie I'll see you on the other side Brother.🤘🏻🈂️☮
My ex dug Nirvana but didn't understand how The Melvins were an influence. I break it down as Nirvana wants to write catchy songs and then make them as abrasive as possible, but the hooks are still there; The Melvins are more about writing the most disgusting riff possible and pounding it into your skull.
Hopping on this to say the most honorable Jared Warren on vocals and bass is lending his talents to the Unwound reunion. It’s a must see. His bass playing and tone are insane.
It's tough finding quality footage of the grunge scene that isn't from some shaky handheld cam with distorted audio. Probably because this was in 2007, not 1989, but still. These guys sound better than ever, what a find this was! Thanks for uploading this for us. Classic song from a classic band. Melvins!!
I've seen the Melvins with Jello Biafra and Adam Jones, Big Business opened the show. But haven't seen this incarnation with Big Business joining into a double drumming sludge version of King Crimson.
I just recently stumbled upon the Melvins but they fucking rock. Always knew that Kurt Cobain was friends with them and enjoying their music. I wonder why I never listened to them. Kurt often mentioned them. Whatever rather later then never..
that lady makin them hot dogs is the real rockstar here
+HailCthulhuFhtagn 0:54 Weenie Cam FTW!
Hey, everybody loves sausages.
What eh...what is the eh pollo assado taco?
dang, I was going to say that!
I love how she holds the tongs in one hand, and handles the food with the other hand.
The editing of this is so comical. Drums drums drums... Hot dogs!
Yeah but what's the comical part? Drums or hotdogs?
The editor was hungry!
@@anapaulaoshida2745i would be too editing makes me hungry
Catering guy opening shipping container storage
Damn that double drum is freaking sick!
So tuff
A left handed drummer, a right handed drummer playing and incredible intro QUICK CUT to some goober turning hot dogs...MELVINS!!!
im a goofy goober... youre a goofy goober.. something i heard from spongebob.. Peace out man! \/,, :D
Dale Crover. The most underrecognized, most important man in grunge music. (Maybe all of rock and roll)
All the Crover vibes! Very distinct drumming style I feel like but I could be wrong?
Melvins are highly acclaimed and very recognized
Let's not get crazy now
Dale is instantly recognisable.
That's almost impossible for a drummer, Ringo is the only other one I can think of?.
@popcorn sutton, got any old al-kee-hall?.
the two drummers must be having so much fun during the intro
Coady is a beast. The only one I can see playing with or standing in for Dale(recent Twins of Evil tour).
The tatoos, the beers and cigarettes, the cook going into a shipping container, the hotdog vendor. It’s all so perfect.
I love what two drummers could do
@Jack Burcell Entire album is 2 drummers. The song Divorced on Crybaby is 2 of everything too. Kylesa is another sludge band that uses two drummers and it sounds amazing, it’s almost oppressive.
@Thor Husky Dale Crover from the Melvins and Coady Willis from Big Business
Check out Beachbuggy - Kickin back
The vocalist has the absolute perfect voice for this genre. Such a tight band.
Jared never misses a note.
@@Lumpygroovy Fuckin love Jared on this one
KARP in a basement was amazing!
The Melvins are one of the very few bands who record great songs that sound even better live. What a treat.
Them and the Viagra Boys
As much as I adore the current lineup with Steven, the Melvins/big business era is fuckin incredible.
the video editing is the most Melvins one possible

Easily one of the greatest songs ever. it gives me chills 🥶
You are correct,sir.
No sausages were harmed in the making of this video
possibly my favorite Melvins song.
Great to see some folks really dig this shit while others just don't have a .. clue what the .. is happening on stage
2:22 layne staley came back just for Melvins
😂
no kidding. Looks a lot like him not strung out on heroin though

Damn both drummers are actually killing it! Bouncing off each other like a couple of badasses.
This live version is even better than the record, the hallmark of a great band, and showcases their musicianship, awesome
Yessssss
That drum intro is sick ! So underrated
0:12 History of long drum solos
0:54 History of making hot dogs
1:21 History of littering
1:42 History of stealing from cargo containers
holy shit! this is amazing. I was skeptical about how would they pull out this song live. I am amazed
it's the Melvin's. lol
I really love this music, this whole video and this comments section, I feel so good everytime I come back here
Hopping on this to say the most honorable Jared Warren on vocals and bass is lending his talents to the Unwound reunion.
It’s a must see. His bass playing and tone are insane.
Best Melvins lineup IMHO
I’ve never heard a punk/metal band as talented as them live
Such a great song. Shame the vocals are way too quiet on this plus the shit shots of bored crowd members and staff. Great band
Viagra Boys
two drum kits are always a good sign!
This tune is the GOAT
What "GOAT" means???
Sujeira! Greeting from Brazil!
😅
Love the cut to the hotdogs in the first minute or so there
2:21 Layne Staley
Fabrizio I can see it 😂
Oh god lol
And the guy at 2:11 looks like Jerry Cantrell
And the bass player is Zach Galifianakis
Layne Baldy
I listen toball there albums when I’m at work twisting wrenches incredible stuff
Saw them perform this in London back in October as the encore song... One of the loudest and awesomest things I've ever heard
i would cook hot dogs to go to this show
You guys are ………Amazing
15,000 of these views are from me alone... This song is so fucking dope. It's even better live. The Melvins are the best.
This is one of the coolest uses of two drummers ever
Most double drummer bands these days just have them playing the same thing
It's tough finding quality footage of the grunge scene that isn't from some shaky handheld cam with distorted audio. Probably because this was in 2007, not 1989, but still. This is Big Business and Melvins saw this in PDX '07 soooo loud and badass
Even Tool would envy this masterpiece
This album was a good job

Just wonderful. 👏👏👏
Everyone should have a theme song and this is mine.
I'd admit it, I never knew Buzz didn't sing on this one... I learned something today :O

This crowd is electric.
Damn it, there music is so powerful! It has a thematic element to it, like a short film could be set to this, it's that deep.
Jared from KARP was such a a perfect shoe-in with Melvin's...
A perfect union
Dale Crover is one of the greatest and most unique drummers active today, been loving the Melvins since '91
At the end can you hear "I love the Melvins!!!"
Man. .. This is brutal! Thanks for uploading and hippin' me 2 some hard tunes

best song ever
Most Badass awesome song known to man. If i had theme music, this would be it.
Mega STAR! zdravim SLOVENSKO! ;)
New melvins still rips but this will always be the best period of the band and I hope they do a reunion at some point.
Best drums ever!
Saw them live last night. So much energy and by far the loudest concert I've been to.
i love how the second drumkit is either mic'd WAY louder, or is just more beefy sounding in general LOL Mlevins = love
Dale's bass drum is definitely mic'd louder than Coady's. Both use 24" kicks.
Figa c’è Sabino al concerto dei Melvins 😄😎😆❤️
These dudes played so well with Buzz and Dale
