I left 1988 and joined Royal Marines for 24 years. I left behind my younger brother and sister but they have now moved up north. Westlands with discipline was a good school, not perfect but fitted for many. We didn’t get into the grammar school so we made the best. I’m still friends with many of my era, but this teacher thing of sucking up at end of year shows why the youth think they are so entitled
