Being a Polish national, I remember visiting the Museum of the Warsaw Uprising once. Of course, all exhibits and stories connected to that historical event were very deeply moving, but what made me break in tears, was the final room filled with a collection of items related to children who experienced it. Among the many objects were the letters and diaries scribbled with children's writing, documenting what they saw and what they experienced, with letters to their fathers who were far away at war etc. Yegor's diary reminds me very much of those letters and testimonies, both in appearance and in contents. The children's suffering in war is what always gets me the most, it is the most terrible injustice in the world.

I hope the Boy puts his Diary up for auction. I have a feeling it would bring him enough money to live into his young adult years. I also hope they find a way for him to get a higher education, he's obviously very intelligent! Bless the Singer for her wonderful gift to this family.

Humanity will thrive stronger only when we reach out to help one another; especially in dire times. Hope this family can go back to their hometown when this madness is all over.

The writing doesn’t sound like that of a 9 year old boy. The penmanship looks mature on opposite side of drawings. The drawings are obviously that of a small child-Yegor.
Many Ukrainians in Mariupol greeted Russian soldiers with hugs and flowers. You will never see that on this US government propaganda channel, but you can find the videos on UA-cam and other places on the Internet.
I seen them videos. It's suspicious how they all appear to be the same bunch of pensioners over and over again, even as the Russians claim a different city welcoming them as liberators. Funny how they're also the same faces I've seen since the 2014 wars and occupation in Donbass. Some of them even appeared in Russia's domestic Z rallies in 2022! How could this be... Oh, fuck it. I'm going in without lube. The truth is, Russia ferry around actors to stage these events to falsify their narrative of Ukrainians welcoming Russian forces as liberators. The only confirmed case of treason in Ukraine was with the town of Berdiansk. Qisling mayors handed over the town without a fight.
