thanks for watching!
You always make me feel like an old friend that’s sitting in the same room while you patiently go through the whole collection item by item. Your lighting and the quality of photography are always just great.
I'm an avid art collector. I have amassed hundreds of pieces over the years. In the art world they like to bombard you with never letting your art see the sun so that doesn't fade, protecting it in flat files, spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on gallery glass and proper framing etc.... I just get my art on my walls. I'm going to enjoy it now. It may be worth something one day. It may not. What I do know is- it's priceless to me NOW! Be a collector but always take time to enjoy it too 💜💜💜💜
*this was in reference to the Elvis collection. Because I totally agree with you, It's sad he didn't enjoy it more.
Completely agree! 👍
Samantha Waldo ....yep 100% , there’s an “over-nerdiness” that swamps the print collecting scene , where the “rules” make worthless anything with even the mearest corner bump or minuscule flaw to the point that it nearly all gets sealed away in an airless box till it’s sold to another collector who then seals it his his own airless box..
Not going to say that I go out and collect original art or prints, but most of the art in my rooms are either original, signed and numbered prints or poster size photos. The photo is extra special because its a picture my mother took in Kenya back in the 1990s and its of my favorite animal. Neither of my siblings fought me over getting it after Mom died. I have 4 original paintings, one I commissioned of a beloved cat, 2 done by a very dear friend who passed away almost 3 years ago, I got one of them after her death and a painting that another dear friend, who passed away 21 years ago, father painted. Then a signed and numbered print that my first dear friend had printed and I got framed for her. And those are just the ones in my front room a/k/a living room. I have a couple of paintings I did back in high school around the house. And that isn't all the art I have, just some of them. I have most behind protective glass, because I will never have another copy of them (or one because its egg tempera with potentially toxic pigments.)
@@ElicBehexan I'm not even going to list what I have. All signed. Most OGs. All prints limited edition. Most highly sought after. .... but I'm not going to put myself into the poor house spending 500 to frame them all. I take care of my stuff. I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm enjoying everything. I'm appreciating ART. 💜
Remember to press the like button people, lots of readers forgetting to. Another interesting video Alex, your life is one long surprise! What's going to happen next!
Good buy Alex. I too have had the experience of buying something requiring scissors to open, then requiring scissors to open the scissors, and now am never without a very tiny pocket knife, which I use several times every day.
I love old Christmas ornaments. I remember just staring at the bubble lights the most.
I just love old glass Christmas tree ornaments. So delicate and so nostalgic.
How awesome to get all that vintage Christmas at this time of year! Nice scores.
"Not everything has to be antique, it just has to be cool." So very true! I often find people undervalue newer things because they aren't over 20 years old.
Antique is anything over 100 years old. Over 20 years old would just be "vintage."
And he said "cool beans" like them kids did 20 years ago too. 😂😅😋
Cool video🌟👍🇦🇺💫
I just love the Edison phonograph. How I wish I was able to buy it and all the cylinders. Such a great find!
Antiques seek you out Alex! 😊 They know you will find them a good home! 🏠🎄
Loved the unboxing on camera. 😊BTW: Graceland is a National Historic Landmark in the US.
I live in the town Elvis Presley was born in. My dad was his neighbor. My great Aunt was his mother's midwife who helped birth him. His house was about the size of your home garage, and you can actually tour that home. He gave a piece of property to the city, which they named "Fairpark" and put up a statue of him in his honor. I live only 7 miles from his place. It was a little later in his life that he moved into Tennessee. I love the history surrounding Elvis because I literally grew up around it. There's a restaurant almost straight across from the road he was born on, where he ate at all the time, even after he got famous and would come home to eat there. There's a photo at the booth where he ate at of him eating at that exact booth. The seat is even still the same one, mainly because it's never Had to be replaced. So you can literally sit in the same seat he sat in over 50 years ago. It's called Johnnie's Drive In. Fabulous food that anyone who ever visits Tupelo, MS should absolutely come enjoy! ❤️
Hannah Mattox one of my favorite places in the area is Cravin Cat Fish out by Sherman
Tom Pascale that's totally awesome! Hardly anyone knows about Tupelo, but you must live around here to even know where Sherman is 😂
I’m actually a truck driver and I live in Idaho. But I deliver to plumrose in Tupelo once a week.
Tom Pascale pretty cool, man! That would've been my second guess! A friend of mine is a trucker and tells me about the little gems he finds in small towns on his trips out! My sister worked at Plumrose about 7 years ago doing intake. I'm right down the road from there, too. Lol. I can relate to so many things 😂 and I grew up one town over, but spent most of my time here in Tupelo!
Like the garage, you need to build a ‘receiving/sorting’ shed.
I love the way you have been dressing for your store...your employee/s should have vest and ties...it just fits! ( or an apron and bow tie like you see the general store keepers have in old movies -part of the store "experience". I thought it might be cool for as long as you have it and when you get it working just so, to play the old edison cylinders in the store-sort of background and if that isn't so practical, maybe make a recording of your favorites to keep playing low. (Ambiance!) You get such neat stuff to unbox and I love that you share it...maybe in a future build, you should have designated area for it so it doesn't clutter your space until you can display it. At the rate you are going, you could have a whole toy room!
Needs a bow tie.
I think part of the rationale behind the expansion will be more room to unbox;)
Globe, I have a smaller version of it. It’s made of different stones that that country is known for.
I think Connie Miller that I have seen those advertised in National Geographic gift catalogs. Some of the stones may be precious or semi precious stones.
I can just see the Elvis items flying out. So many still love him.
That big box of assorted vintage christmas ornaments was the best, I so wish I was in Edmonton
The Globe is made of Gem stones. Very desirable. Loved going through your good junque with you.
yes i have one too same size lol
I really wish I could shop at your store. There are so many things I would love to have!
He ships worldwide
My all time favorite Christmas Music is Elvis Christmas. I only have it on tape, but it's my favorite. Especially Blue Christmas.
This was so fun to watch. I always learn something new!
omg, i love old glass christmas ornaments!
I have that exact set that I have been using my entire life! Half are broken at this point, but man! wish I was local to come pick them up!
Those ornaments are the same kind we had growing up. Very delicate, and ornate. Brings back memories
my aunt was a massive elvis fan. she would have loved and used that collection. i went to graceland once. it was cool, as i was an elvis fan as a kid. but it was much smaller than i had thought it would be.
I really "dig" the Edison cylinder player. guitar is in amazing shape for a 1930's item.
Omgeee ! "Nothing says Christmas like a ammo belt ". I laughed way to hard at that one .
I imagined someone putting up their Christmas lights on the house and reaching for a replacement bulb located in that ammo belt. LOL
@@MKCarol-ms7lg OOOO good idea
If you lived in any southern US state then that would be their holiday motto. 😅
Love your positive attitude “it could of been a box of used toothpicks” LOL
If used by Elvis, they might worth a fortune...
my beautiful wife Dee and I love your show GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY YOUR A AMAZING SINGER AS WELL WE LOVE YA 💘
Hello from Woodhaven, Michigan! I love your channel. It is for sure the best and most professional of all that I am following. When you let us know about your background, it explained how you honed your skills and prepared you so perfectly
for what you are doing today. Sometimes highly creative people are not able to focus and finish projects. That is not you! You are multi-talented and so blessed with Melissa being so supportive of your endeavors.
I've heard from people in the vintage industry for the past little while that they think 90s sports cards are going to come back. They have seen rumblings of them getting more popular again. So please watch the market closely over the next little bit!
Hi you all how are you doing today. Love ❤️ your videos and you all Love the car you have to
Nice items. You should do a vintage toy Christmas display. You get a lot of nice vintage items❤️
I CAN ONLU SAY PLEASE PLEASE ALEX
"and will terrify you"! Lol. Thanks for terrifying us! 😂❣️
That was quite a good haul with some interesting stuff in
How exciting it is to see what’s inside the boxes ...love your videos..☺️
So many cool things!!!
My granddad had an old Victrola cylinder phonograph and also the one that we could actually "record" our voices on a cylinder record. Seeing yours brought back some fond memories!
For the kids who come in the store, you could open the hockey cards and sell them for a dollar a pack... just an idea
Phew! That was a score!
Great Wax cylinder collection , I’d kill for those......
Whoever shows an interest in those will probably take them all , not an immediate sell but a niche market , they look in super condition too...
Joe Keaton LOL
Nice condition but they made many millions of them. The blue ones are the coolest. They recorded almost anything for those. Always interesting.
David Heafield
He ships.
@@okjoe5561 he may have to kill for the money though. 😏
Wow very cool stuff!! Glad they have someone who can find homes for them!!
Love seeing all the neat stuff. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed the sharing of your haul!
You could set up a Christmas display in the front window
Yes, would look so cool 💖💖
What awesome finds Alex!
I love that dobro too!
This was fun to watch!
How cool, it’s always fun to see what treasures are in the totes. Thank you for sharing:)
I love watching your shows, and can't wait for when Hans gets his keys to his new house and moves in....and we get to see this wonderful thing you and your family and everyone watching has did for the Viking he sure does deserve it. I just watched your estate collectibles...Wow great score.....you got awesome stuff, I think I get more excited then you do and can't wait till you get the lids of the containers lol....And I think you have some stiff competition Alex , great job so far on the living room Melissa, you go girl.
Those Franklin Mint Coca Cola trays stole my heart. And those Christmas bulbs. Memories! ❤
I love watching you go through boxes for the store. It feels like a treasure hunt.
What cool boxes of stuff. Fun. Enjoy exploring with you !
Awesome again 🎸 🎸🎸 🎸
I love love love this video how fun! Love to explore vintage items now I want to go to a vintage store to get Christmas decor.🤩🤩
I love pop-up books and was amazed at the pristine condition of the Graceland book.
A beautiful collection of treasures! Congrats! Great vid!
Cool stuff
Those movie posters are awesome. Some really fun finds in there. Treasure hunting is so fun. :)
i love the pop up book
Hi Alex and family. Great collection of items today. I love the guitar too.
Looks like the store will have a very nice Christmas decor.
Love the Elvis merchandise, I am a big Elvis fan. 👍👍👍👍👍
I absolutely do remember those ornament holders. TFS loved this unboxing it was fun fun fun!!!
Elvis shot out more than one TV. Love the Elvis memorabilia.
20:17 1988 Olympics Jamaican Bob Sled Team... "Cool Runnings" the movie. Yah Man!
Hey mon me Helmet don’t Fit!
Kawamp it fits now!
I love the light reflectors and the indent ornaments.
What a nice collection of stuff! That resonator guitar is a great find. Being an antique radio collector, I found that radio most intriguing, and so was the Edison phonograph. The Christmas ornaments are beautiful and in such great condition. You did well!
So interesting and informative. I love this episode. Hugs.
Oh that Elvis box immediately made me think about the Patti Loveless song I try to think about Elvis. I believe Tom Jones told a story in an interview about Elvis shooting a TV once. Might have been Engelbert Humperdink. They were all friends once upon a time. I love the old posters, my hubby would love the B2TF and Gremlims as well as the TMNT Items. Thanks for sharing.
Great find, ready for sale.
Looks like some very nice money will be made. Excellent investment and fun to watch.
OMG! That guitar! Serious drooling going on here, even though I am a mediocre player. You so gotta play it for us, Alex!! Pretty please!
That was fun. Thank you for sharing. Brought back a lot of memories. I had those types of ornaments at one time. All my original Elvis records and items “disappeared”. My sons original Star Wars items disappeared during our numerous moves. Fun seeing things like that again.
Wow a real treasure trove! Can't wait to see all the posters. Blessings!
Alex such an awesome store full of treasures. I just love it all. And I always love your vast knowledge of so many different types of things you come across. You are a joy to watch.
Phillips 66 headquarters is Bartlesville, OK. They have a museum there so they should know about the hanger.
Wow such a cool find❤️👍
Alex, very interesting "stuff". Love the musical items, they are beautiful. Yes, you will definitely make a profit on all the items you bought! Good for you! I will be looking forward to seeing Hans. Take care and God Bless.
I love your channel so much! I also think your store is so very cool. What a great bunch of things you got in this collection. I just love your sense of humor. I can't wait to see your video of Hans and his new house. So exciting.
Nice to see those Christmas ornaments. Brought back memories from my childhood. Awesome stuff. 👍💜
I remember my Godmother (b 1894).... having an old table top Christmas tree..she purchased from Woolworths. in the 30's. That thing was hideous..... Then came the lights and ornaments.... Bubble Lights..... and glass ornaments with odd shapes and paint missing.... red bell lights.... I would help her decorate and ask why she just didn't cut a tree as she owned a farm with 100's of acres.... I guess she just loved that tree....... Looking back all those ornaments and tree were $$$$$$$...
Same ere. One of those was an exact match of one on my childhood tree.
The reflectors for the lights reminded me of our tree growing up. They were five-pointed 🌟 and actual glass mirrors. Who wudda thought they were collector items! I love 💕 any old item because it was actually used by someone a long time ago.
Mike Wiebers I remember the tin foil reflectors. I think from the 50s.
They brought back memories for me too! There were at least 3 fancy ornaments of the exact same color/style of the ones from my childhood.
Love the Elvis memorabilia. I live in Tupelo Ms. Elvis's birth place. He's a big tourist draw here an much loved.
Finally🤗🤗🤗🤗 I love you showing the prices. It makes it interesting. Now we can see the value of the purchase and kinda how you decide to buy things in bulk. Boxes rooms etc.
That gramophone and guitar are neat! Definitely some good finds!
I love that globe.
That was a really interesting variety of things that you opened up. I love the Christmas ornaments as they remind me of my growing up days! I have some & gave some to my son & his family to use on their tree! The Elvis memorabilia are really quite interesting and like you said very collectible! It's definitely a great day for adding some great items to your store! Nice guitar! Thanks for sharing this video of you opening everything with us! Great video content as always!
Love this, I can sit all day and night 😀😘
@ 20:52 I believe those are with the Elvis things because he LOVED to collect badges. That was one of the main things that Elvis loved to collect and there's that whole story about him going to Nixon just so he could try and get a badge that he wanted lol. They are probably replicas of some badges that Elvis collected.
My mom loved Elvis, lots of fun watching you go through things and hopefully you can get things working as well. Take care and Bless your family. 🥰🥰🥰
Hello. I just love this treasures. A lot of the things from my youth. I loved that Coca Cola plate, and would love to buy them if the post is not crazy expencive Wish you a great week, and look forward to see that RR come to life. Best wishes from Jan in Norway

Love thst globe.... its aesthetically beautiful...🥰🥰🥰
What a wonderful video you shared with us all. You set our minds towards Christmas and reminded us of years long gone when our children were focused on Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man! Thanks Alex!
Wow! Here's hoping for a great holiday season.
Loved this unboxing video. But I have to say I've pretty much loved them all. Keep it up Alex!!
Super cool store and getting better and better!
Wow! I want ALL that Elvis stuff, especially Graceland pop up book! 🇦🇺🇦🇺
I've never been a fan of world map globes, but that one is really eye-catching. Love the bright, shiny colours! The Edison Amberola looks perfect displayed in your store, Alex and the guitar was a wonderful find too. Always interesting to see what you have picked up.
So fun to watch! 😊
cool stuff and i love the sound of your voice... I could listen to you talk forever....
