Absolutely - there's so much to do there!! Wherever the rest of my trip's based, I always want to spend a couple of days in Tokyo to re-visit my favs and go to any new places.
I won't be there this time, sorry! Not booking any shows at the moment - but have a great time if you're going! I'm sure everyone will be out to have fun as there hasn't been a comic con for so long.
Do you have any idea when Japan will fully open their borders for tourism or at least for Europe? I’m going next year but don’t want to risk buying my plane tickets yet.
There's no news yet. There was some movement recently as they reduced the quarantine period to 10 days, but there are still no visas for foreign tourists, and no plan for when we'll be allowed back. I'm waiting too - don't want to have to cancel again!
They recently reduced the quarantine time to 10 days, but foreigners from most countries are still not allowed in (visas are suspended). Currently there's no news on when it'll be open for tourism again - but at least there was some movement for the first time recently and there are negotiations happening. Fingers crossed!!

Great video! There is also a mini pig cafe in Harajuku (Takeshita-dōri). I was there a couple of weeks ago, and it was quite a unique experience

I'll go to Kyushu on my next trip, but I feel like I could as well also spend another one or two weeks just in Tokyo again and not get bored.

I am sad and excited for a trip because of the things I will never see and hopeful there will be nice things to see when I visit.

It's always sad to see arcades close down, the arcades we have these days are mostly ripoff prize machines
When I hear sad news about an arcade closing, I try and remember how there are lots more, so hopefully they won't all be gone!!
