the painting has several holes and slots in it where all the items came from, also he takes the painting with him so that no one can inspect it afterwords at find all those slots and holes....

All the people leaving negative comments are forgetting the fact that he is a PERFORMER. Bitching about how he does it won't change his fan base and his income just because you don't enjoy the performance. It's called entertainment, if you aren't entertained then stop watching... leave it at that. Problem solved haha. Still don't understand why you are even on this page if you don't like criss angel to begin with...

Interesting and cool to have a illusionist or magician or whatever and an artist working together in this way, since both are illusionists in a way. I thought that was pretty cool.

okay, so for everyone wanting to know:
the card is inside the actual painting.
the girl is part of the trick and choosing the 4 of spades is part of the trick.
if you look, the card is actually bent. Criss throws the card up to distract.
the match is inside of the painting. It is a light-anywhere match.
i can't explain the glass though. I am guessing it's inside the painting too.
the painting is created for this trick.

When it comes to wanting to know how magic acts are done, just think of the most possible explanation for it and 9/10 times it is. In this act, someone passes items throw the holes in a painting. TaDaaa Magic :)
This is why I love Criss Angel. He tells you that he's a illusionist, but since people can't figure out his tricks they assume it's "magic" and you get all kinda of "omg this is so fake" comments. Oh course its fake! It's an illusion not real magic!

I like how all the cards are 4 of spades and theres a 3rd one in the middle which is hard to see and he grabs that one out his hand. Result, either she guesses depending on her surroundings, or an actor. ACTOR!

Okay, for all of the skeptics out there, how would you explain the martini appearing from the painting in his hand, but completely disappearing from the actual painting? The holes thing works with the card, the match and the 100 dollar bill, because it can be hidden. How would you explain the olive as well as the martini disappearing?
Walk into a shop, pull shit out of something, get it for a bargain. Fucking awesome.

The card is bent. That means that it was on the painting, which means that it was predetermined that that would be chosen. The rest of the crowd may not have known.

I'm not going to argue with any of you dudes on how he does it, but I do agree that he is literally the hottest magician out there. I don't mean by popular hot, either. And yes, he is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to watch him on Wednesday.

there are plenty of trap doors etc behind the wall the painting is on, notice is like a black velvet, whichs conceals the hidden doors quite well... still a very nicely done illusion

True. Maybe there was a sponge in there and when the cup was unfolded, the sponge released the wine. The olive? Probably just a tight fit.

@xXViiPeRxZ Most galleries traditionally display paintings from the front as the back of paintings usually don't render as much channeled creativity by the artists as the front. This gallery is no exception to that tradition.
