Hey mate! Any chance you could do Billy Fields 'You weren't in love with me.' Wendy Matthews 'The day you went away.' Another couple of Aussie singers not as well known as the others.
Disturbed is one of my favorite bands. David's voice... oh my, he could read the dictionary and I'd be captivated! Heavy or ballad, doesn't matter. Beautiful song, lovely vid, great reaction. Thanks man!
3:20 "they're not crazy rock" 😆David Draiman is incredibly talented, hopefully someone has already suggested "The vengeful one" or "Down with the sickness" to see what style they started out with.
@@anthonyfuller1117 Agreed, Down with the sickness is just a good sounding song, but The Vengeful One is about the message, it's powerful and a great song
Fully agree, Down with the Sickness especially since you love the vocal growl Nic! His is especially growlly lol in this song, and it'll give you the full effect of the heavy metal as well!
They are a Heavy Metal band and most of their music reflects this. He is classically trained. This song is a collaboration of all the experiences of the band members. Song touches the soul
A reason to fight is another awesome/emotional song much like this one.Its one of my favorites ever, the music,David's voice, the message is all incredible 💖💖💖💖
I have not heard of Disturbed before, WOW what a voice , just captivating, such a beautiful song 🎵 I got lost in his voice and didn't take in the beautiful message of this song, I had to go back and watch it for a second time. Thank you to who ever requested that I absolutely loved it ❤️
Feeling the need for catharsis lately and exploring the power of Disturbed. Well, found what I needed in this song (and Sounds of Silence). Thank you for bringing these songs back for us to re-live through your reactions!
This is a beautiful song, it is perfect for David's wonderful voice. Disturbed is so versatile, they can be head banging hard rock one song and hauntingly melodic the next, I hope you dive down the Disturbed rabbit hole.
Ah my brother from the nasti nati, you are discovering disturbed! Man i was so happy you covered HIS version of sound of silence... It is so much more impactful when you know what he normally does lol. Also, he is operatically trained
I think David got the idea for this song after watching Coco with his child, such an emotional but beautiful song. I'm not a metal fan but I do love their gentler songs, another one I love is Reason to Fight. Love your reactions x
This song alone got me through my brothers death. I had a hard time playing this song on my guitar too. Couldn't get through it without balling my eyes out.
A lot of their more recent stuff is more ballad-y, but their older albums are actual rock. I love both styles from them, actually! They have some excellent songs in both styles, too.
Did you just say that Disturbed is country? What? You definitely need to listen to more of their catalog. They are a metal band that just so happens to have a lead vocalist that is classicly trainer and yes has a great voice with a large range.
I placed my best friends ashes down a northern Michigan river while a small group of friends were standing around. I played this song as I was doing so
Love this song - as much as a fan of their heavy rock that I am, I feel this style suits David’s voice better. On a different note: have you adjusted your picture settings mate?. Everyone seems to have silver lipstick in you videos today, hehe.
Ok I need you to listen to not requesting a vid reaction at all but the deluxe edition of evolution has a song called Uninvited guest David's range is phenomenal from heavy rock to then this song im talking about its just worth it please please please have a listen for yourself
I know this is way off topic but please do you're self a favour and listen to delta's rendition of " have yourself a very little Christmas" with Craig david❤❤❤ not even requesting...just listen to it👌👌🔥❤
Also...... This is NOT Disturbed... This is his new stuff. PLEASE SOMEONE BACK ME UP WITH DISTURBED WE KNOW!!! Hes right without even knowing it... Give him "down with the sickness" and all the other classics. This IS NOT DISTURBED 😂.
I have no green screen so I don't know why it's looking like that 😬

Down with the sickness is a really good song, but hopefully The Vengeful One is done first. Such a great song and video.

The OFFICIAL Video of DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS...
Fully agree, Down with the Sickness especially since you love the vocal growl Nic! His is especially growlly lol in this song, and it'll give you the full effect of the heavy metal as well!

I haven't heard this one from Disturbed 😲. Absolutely eye watering 🥺. Just love this band and David's voice, ahhhh😌

The song helped get me through my dad's passing in 2018. Cried like a hysterical woman at the concert.

My personal favorite is The Light, but they have so many great songs, Nick!
Same! That song is one of their best.
David is amazing he's classically trained as a cantor
They have hard songs, but always melodic and great vocals. You should check out more of Disturbed
WOW! What an AMAZING song!!!!
This is a beautiful song, it is perfect for David's wonderful voice. Disturbed is so versatile, they can be head banging hard rock one song and hauntingly melodic the next, I hope you dive down the Disturbed rabbit hole.
I played this song as I put my best friend of 42 years ashes into a northern Michigan river as she wanted as her last wish. I cried so hard ❤
Ah my brother from the nasti nati, you are discovering disturbed! Man i was so happy you covered HIS version of sound of silence... It is so much more impactful when you know what he normally does lol. Also, he is operatically trained
You haven't heard the heavy stuff because people keep requesting the ballads.... they have heaps of good heavy rock songs....
I think David got the idea for this song after watching Coco with his child, such an emotional but beautiful song. I'm not a metal fan but I do love their gentler songs, another one I love is Reason to Fight. Love your reactions x
He lost his grandmother before the movie. Coco really solidified it.
Its a beautiful message to everyone
I heard this song for the first time about a month ago and I insisted to my family this would be played at my Home going. Such a special song!
Icehouse - Great Southern Land. It's really good. Had it play at my wedding when I got married too an Aussie.
This song alone got me through my brothers death. I had a hard time playing this song on my guitar too. Couldn't get through it without balling my eyes out.
I love disturbed! Can’t wait to hear this!
Disturbed- Voices …..it’s such a treat for sure! you’re welcome ; )
November 2, día de muertos, is the most beautyfull tradition in México, the day we remember our fallen
A lot of their more recent stuff is more ballad-y, but their older albums are actual rock. I love both styles from them, actually! They have some excellent songs in both styles, too.
Disturbed has really really good ballads.
REACT TO DISTURBED'S...PRAYER, THE LIGHT, STRICKEN, ARE YOU READY
Did you just say that Disturbed is country? What? You definitely need to listen to more of their catalog. They are a metal band that just so happens to have a lead vocalist that is classicly trainer and yes has a great voice with a large range.
This particular song does have a country vibe. Likely why that was mentioned.
His version of sounds of silence is phenomenal!
I placed my best friends ashes down a northern Michigan river while a small group of friends were standing around. I played this song as I was doing so
Omg the mom and kid making a mask for hubby/dad. 😭
Love this song - as much as a fan of their heavy rock that I am, I feel this style suits David’s voice better.
On a different note: have you adjusted your picture settings mate?. Everyone seems to have silver lipstick in you videos today, hehe.
loved.
david reminds me a lot of devin townsend with how operatic his voice is
The lead singer is a pastor so that may be what makes it a little softer rock song
Don't be fooled... these guys rock .
Im crying .
Disturbed is a heavy metal band. There a lot of they're songs your like. Check out In to the light.
Great reaction. If you are interested in hearing their harder stuff, you might check out Stricken, Prayer, or Indestructible.
the reason we didint do art like that in american schools is because that song was direct to a different culture of losing someone....
The masks are from dias de los muertos celebrations. Day of the dead. Hispanic celebrations.
I always thought the lead singer of disturbed was like a younger version of Phil collins
☮️💜

The mask are a representation of the Day of the Dead
Why do they all have purple lips?
the masks are for day of the dead. the songs more about celebrating/embracing the time with your loved ones rather waiting till they are gone
Definitely rock not country.
