Thank you Ryan! It was such a pleasure to spend the day with you and Kelsey. Thank you so much for coming out, meeting the family and experiencing Simple Lawn Solutions behind the scenes. So excited for this year! 😊😊
Brittany Robin Get prepared to blow up in the lawn industry! You need to put together a package for DIY guys... and yes girls for their home lawns will sale like hot cakes!
It was our Pleasure Ryan and Kelsey to have you both visit our Facility. As I mentioned; you need to love what you do and the rest will come natural. Our family has generations of Farming, growing and fertilizer use / manufacturing skills. Any time you are in the areas please visit with us again. Take care
Excellent video👍. I like that your wife is involved and wanting to learn with you. It had to be a great visit at the facility. Now let us all get ready to rumble soon and start mowing our turf!
I purchased Root Hume and will be applying it when temperatures are warmer. BTW you have a good eye for editing. Your shots flow, the music is never too loud and you tell a good story. Nice video!
Wow I did not think this was going to be as interesting as it was, Mark really explains things in a way that even I can understand, thank you for this very informative video.
very cool tour. I knew it was a small company which I like, but seeing the plant and seeing how passionate they are made me want to buy some of their products.
Nice to see some good explanation behind why their product would be better than what you would get in a bag at the big box store. Surely you're going to show some of the benefits in Kelsey's garden?
I like Mark, that guy was very transparent and didn’t give you that creepy sleezy car salesman feel a lot of people with a product to push usually have. Simple Lawn Solutions just went up a notch in my book.
Ryan I’m so happy to see this video. I’ve been waiting to use their Root Hume, Soil Aeration, and Micro Booster products this year. My only complaint would be that their products are not always in stock on Amazon. I can’t wait to see both yours and my results.
The amazon game is a tough one because you can't have too much inventory sitting there or amazon charges you to have the product in the warehouse but you never know exactly when a flush of sales might come in either. I know they do their best to try to balance that out.
I used Simple Lawn Solutions products with great results. Thanks for tour. I que a question. I saw "Moisture Manager" and "Hydratain" in some shots. Does UAS make these products in their plant?
Trevor First😁Interesting story about interesting products. Your wife asked some good questions. You should be proud. Thanks for sharing Ryan.😎👍👍 Ryan & Kelsey Knorr Lawn Care sounds like a good partnership.
Yes I did actually but didn't catch that on camera. In a raw form like that where it is insoluble with water, it would take a very very long time to break down on the soil.
Really looking forward to trying their stuff this year. I picked up the Humic at the end of the year but didn’t use it yet. Are you suggesting we may see Ryan Knorr X Simple Lawn Solution products? 😁
Hey Ryan, I noticed you using this product on your lawn in previous videos. Have you used the N-Ext products from Greene County Fertilizer? If so, do you notice a difference? Do not mean to put you on the spot. I am sure they work similarly. I thought you may have noticed a little difference. Or is it that the N-Ext line just have more options?
I actually plan to use both this year and I haven't used many nex-t products yet but know plenty of people who have with great success. Many of the formulations seem to be similar and the idea of using humic/fulvic is very similar as well. This was a great target for smaller yards and those who want to just hook up a hose and go spray.
Yep, would live to try n-ext products, but have to spend a small fortune for only a couple products. It would be nice if you could purchase smaller quarts like you can with SLS or lawnstar
How do we either supplement simple lawn solutions liquid stuff with say a Scott’s granular system or Milogranite or do we use it in place of Scott’s or Milogranite? How long does the liquid stuff last, between applications . How do we transition from say Scott’s to Simple Lawn Solutions. For example if I put down Scott’s summer guard lawn food how soon after can I transition to simple lawn solutions.
Liquids are fed directly to the plant so you're not waiting as much for soil to break down anything. You can go with a liquid program but it would be apply probably every 2-4 weeks and most people don't want to deal with that so granular allows things to release slower over time. Liquids are great for those summer doses but I'd say wait 2 weeks or so after you applied a granular.
What I believe he was saying was that the pH begins to correct itself toward neutral because nutrients in the soil become available and start to balance things out. I'm certainly not a chemist but I have heard John Perry say very similar things. Lime or Sulfur can be used to actually change the pH and so those products are used specifically for that goal.
The bit at 6:50 talking about temperature and how thay affects (ionic) bonds is not correct. There is no need to keep it at a certain temperature for bonding purposes. The cooling jacket is to stop the solution from boiling, nothing else. The exothermic reaction is probably because they're adding acid and bases to create salts, which is often exothermic. Thanks for coming to my TED talk
No real science background but we have both been nerding out trying to learn all we can. She loves gardening as well so some things translate very well.
I'm imagining that they'll have a voicemail tomorrow waiting for them at the office....."Uhhh Hi my name is Doc and I heard you have the perfect formula that you'll let me put my label on. I don't need to know the details because I'll just say whatever sounds good to make the sale. Call me back."
8:20 “bonded elements enter plants more efficiently through stomata” his explanation is totally wrong. chelation agents such as EDTA improve foliar applications because plant leaves are coated with an organic waxy substance immiscible with water. Organic cheating agents are able to “carry” the chelated ions beyond the organic layer and “deposit” them onto stomata, thus improving efficiency. The explanation he gives makes no sense. If you had many ions competing to enter stomata (as a result of “not binding them, as he puts it”, the osmotic gradient would favor diffusion into the plant as a function of ionic potential. The greater the concentration -> more higher gradient -> more diffusion into plant.

@@FescueFreak We might just be working on something exactly like that. :)
Really good information, I like this guy! Enjoyed the tour bro!
Sounds a lot like someone else we know! It was interesting to see the behind the scenes work.
Only difference Ryan is you didn’t get to smell a spoon of that stuff to say “smells like Success “😎
You're right.... I knew I forgot something!
Thank you Allyn! 😊

Thank you again for taking the time to meet with us and show us around your "home" - I will gladly be back to visit again in the future!
I love inside looks into companies! Thanks Ryan and Simple Lawn Solutions! Great info!
Excellent video👍. I like that your wife is involved and wanting to learn with you. It had to be a great visit at the facility. Now let us all get ready to rumble soon and start mowing our turf!
Yeah she has been learning everything right along side me and I love it! Ahh I hope it is not long now before those mowers coming out of hibernation
How did I miss this? Very cool
It's not like the kids keep you busy.... :)
Ryan great video! It was awesome to hear about their process and products. I love that this is a family owned small business!
I purchased Root Hume and will be applying it when temperatures are warmer. BTW you have a good eye for editing. Your shots flow, the music is never too loud and you tell a good story. Nice video!
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I'd go for the root hume right alongside your first fertilization app and that should work well.
Wow I did not think this was going to be as interesting as it was, Mark really explains things in a way that even I can understand, thank you for this very informative video.
I used a few of their products last year and was really happy with them.
Great!
These guys seem awesome! Love all the info provided
Good video. Seems like a good, local company that is filling a void for homeowners by bringing professional products to the homeowner market.
Thank you Ryan!! 😊
Thank YOU!
Very cool, Ryan! It's cool you were able to shed a bit more light on this small company for this community! Thank you for sharing!
It goes to show again how many great people are in this industry!
Very nice! Definitely going to have to check their products out, thanks!
Very informative, thanks. I will be using this at my home this year.
Awesome! So cool. I have used their products and loved them this last season! Great video Ryan!
I love their products, and they are super friendly.
Great info Ryan! Love the team and products at Simple Lawn Solutions.
great video Ryan. nice to know the science behind how it works. Thanks
Another great video Ryan. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for your lawn this year.
I look forward to your projects as well!
Interesting! Nice video! Cool to see behind the scenes.
Thanks!
very cool tour. I knew it was a small company which I like, but seeing the plant and seeing how passionate they are made me want to buy some of their products.
Yeah very tight knit and small group of people who love what they do!
Looking forward to try some this season.
Very neat, I just started using their stuff, hope to see good results!
Nice to see some good explanation behind why their product would be better than what you would get in a bag at the big box store. Surely you're going to show some of the benefits in Kelsey's garden?
I am hoping to do that, yes. She has a green thumb as it is and has not used any fertilizer in the years past.
Cool video, it's awsome to see some behind the scenes.
Thanks! Looks like you had a good time in Florida after Lawncology only to return to what i'm looking at as well. :(
@@ryanknorrlawncare thanks for watching. Yeah it was little snowy when I got home. Hitting 40s and 50s for the next couple days. It's melting!

You can tell Mark has a true passion for teaching. I had a great time talking with him.
Nice job with this video, Ryan!
Awesome, you should write up a plan for lawn care using these SLS products.
I will be working on that this year
Are you going to do a Black Friday promo for your box of Simple Lawn Solutions this year?
I loved this, killer vid man. Keep crushing it!
Thanks!
Great video. Seems like a great company.
Really great people!
Fascinating, thanks!
Thank you ...good to know where it’s made and who you’re buying it from.
That's a rare thing these days so I agree, it's great to visit them in person!
Ryan Knorr Lawn Care also an alternate option to the very good GCF products.
@@milanjurich1526 The GCF products are a great choice as well.
Nice video!

Awesome video! 10 days my man!!!
I am hoping it's soon. Usually we are starting mid April but I am crossing my fingers for something earlier!

If or when you go back, you should go look at their lawns. That would be very interesting.
Do you have a video on starting a lawn from scratch? I have Carolina clay and I'm looking at KBG
Yes actually I have a whole playlist. It's linked in the description for this video toward the bottom
Sweet plant tour! Is the Toro snowblower working ok? What was wrong with it that it wouldn't run well?
Yep it's working. Carb clean and new spark plug

She knows her stuff and is trying to learn more just as I am. It's awesome to have that support!
Great info!
Any chance you asked what would happen if you spread the raw humic rocks on a lawn ?
Yes I did actually but didn't catch that on camera. In a raw form like that where it is insoluble with water, it would take a very very long time to break down on the soil.
Awesome!

Hey ND got a mention... *Puts on Miner helmet*
Isn't neutralizing pH the same as changing it if is not within the desired range?

I hope everyone who works in that facility gets a blood test once in a while...Just say'n.
Are these products simular to the Nex products but at a diy' ers small lawn amount?
