Yup, I bought cheap vodka just for this purpose - blazers, jackets, stuff that needs dry cleaning… such a great tip. Most recently I passed it along to marching band parents - so expensive to have those cleaned. Thanks, Billy!
Walking through Times Square was the worst part of every day for us. 😄 Having to dodge all those bus tour staff trying to thrust leaflets at us. Our hotel for the next trip is in a different location, thankfully, so we'll be bypassing the TS madness on our daily walks to the Winter Garden.
I never thought about that lol, you’re right 🤢 Also, I don’t love how Times Square has gone so digital. Like a spot where you used to see four different signs, you’ll now see just one giant screen. It’s not as exciting to look at any more.
Well Here’s my two cents-- I’m not a big fan of Times Square either But I will take it over the. “Old”. Area any day I don’t remember it But from what I understand In the seventies and eighties It was full Of crime drugs prostitution garbage etc People were afraid to go to the theatre The theatre scene was dying So sure now it’s a plastic tourist area But now there’s hotels restaurants and yes THEATRE!!!!!!!! And people spending money and giving people jobs!!!!!!!! Bravo
Great tip on the Vodka TY! Side note....I am going with my hubby and 2 teenagers to see BACK TO THE FUTURE on Aug 9th, soooo excited! Qu for u... Do u have any reccomends for us, for something to do before the show as we r gonna hang out on Broadway first. I already have Juniors Restaurant on my list for after the show;).
Hmm... depending on how much time you have the Museum of Modern Art is pretty close by and one of my favorites, Rockefeller Center is even closer, and not as close but great is the Public Library on 42nd & 5ht and Bryant Park right behind it. Enjoy!

I love your tour of Times Square! So crazy, but fun, too.

Has to be 100 proof vodka though, otherwise the odor clinks to the water in the liquid. Makes me miss my costuming days!
