Aoife's melody writing is so weird, and I mean that in the absolute best way. Reminds me a lot of Joni, which I guess seems like a lazy compairson, since they're both women folkies, but it's far deeper than that. So many unorthodox, but ultimately satisfying choices in her melodies, and a lot of unpredictable rhythmic choices too. She really grabs the ear.
