Love it I just bought one today and I can't wait for my horse to try it he is getting 250 lb by eating too much too fast the vet came out said he has ulcers and we have to get his weight down I've been trying the smart pack hanging slow feeders and they do not work I just bought this thing and can wait for it to get here!!!👌👌👌
Maybe you could figure out a way to make it so the horse cannot constantly lift up the inner bucket and let it bang down repeatedly? My neighbor uses these and the banging is very loud and annoying. I have been told that she cannot leave hay in there constantly (in spite of your advice) and I'm not about to debate the issue since I am not a horse owner.
So I assume when the hay is gone from the bottom, the inner bucket can be lifted and then allowed to drop in a vain attempt to find more hay? Or maybe just entertainment?
