Disease.... I already have lawn rust. Previous homeowners had the irrigation system set to water every other day. Rough calculation of 40,000 gallons a month. Magnesium levels very high because of it. I'm sure the lawn rust was caused by that too. It's a struggle undoing years and years of bad turf maintenance.

That’s a cool pattern. On a different turf topic, do you stripe your tall fescue all year, or is there a cutoff time?
The mowers I use and the quality of the turf it’s going to stripe no matter what I do.
@@GCITurf I heard some people say that they take off the striping kits on their mowers when fungus and disease pressures are high to allow the turf to dry out and breathe better. Just curious on your take on that. Disease pressure is high here, but would like to stripe as well.
@@Shunya0101 if pressure is super high I won’t use the roller quite as much.
@@GCITurf Thanks. If it ever stops raining here in TN, I may put the roller on when it dries out. Your yard always is 🔥 with the stripes no matter what time of year you put out a video. Thanks
