I think the main purpose of the Octane changes was to make players think more. Octane players now have to balance their ability usage in a way others don't have to worry about. It creates a more strategic meta-game with deciding what's more important in the moment: Speed or Health.

Does anyone else like to chase down other Octanes while playing Octane? lol It's like only an Octane can catch another Octane. I don't do this (I rarely play him), but I have had teammates who seem to purposely chase down their long distance relatives just because they can. Also, I haven't come across any insane Octane. I definitely would love to get wiped out by one, that or a Pathfinder would be fine.

I've been leaving early too. Only reason is because I keep getting AFK teammates or ones who's games crash on landing. I even try to wait but they never do re-connect.
