I feel it's a game changer for people playing close to the table. I know that other manufacturers like Thibar have developed hybrids to combine the qualities of german/japan style rubbers and the chinise ones. Maybe it's the way to go for all.
Good question, one i ask myself. Timo and Dima use it. They can play both close and middle distance from the table. But i think it's more suited to close playing style.

I saw some people use this rubber both sides so It works
Ma Long use H3 on both side. Not many pro player use any H3. All depend on how's your playing style
