Sas, your vlogs could go on for hours and we'd all love it! I found your stories and experiences so fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you get grandpa, your aunts and uncles, your sweet mom, all on camera telling their stories for Future, Nico, Emma, and all the other littles that need to learn and keep their heritage alive. I find you, your culture, and your family so loving, kind, and generous. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us. Blessings
I love these story times. I totally believe in the spirits. I love hearing all about your culture, especially from your elders.
Yes! Everything you are sharing is 10000% true!!! I am Thai (isaan too) and I grew up in America. I am now 28 and have decided what/who to believe in. I pray everywhere I go and where ever I am or sleep. I’m always so careful when I’m Thailand bc my mom has gotten sick when she went and did not tell her parents (that are passed away). Her parents seems like to be asking why she was here in Thailand and bc they were asking, my mom literally was SO sick.
I love that Sas is getting more in touch with her culture and learning about her ancestors. How powerful the roots can run through the land. Im Samoan and surprisingly I recently found that we were inherited from Thailand. Samoans are the same way. We believe that our ancestors watches over and protect us.
We are!!!????
Yes, I Love that you made this video to talk about ancestors, spirits, ghosts, etc..... In my Mexican culture, we believe the same in communicating and asking to receive. I myself am very connected with my grandparents spiritually. It's really a great feeling because I know they're around, and it feels good to me. What you're eating looks Fantastic ! I Love you and your sister and all the videos you both make. Very genuine and quality content. I've also learned so much from you both about traveling, which I Love very much 🥰🙏🌄💯💖🌹✨️🌿🌠🪷☘️✨️
Awesome! You should not stop SAS... Keep the stories coming...from you, from your family! Its the best way of enjoying mukbang💐 Thai food from the garden....sitting at the backyard with trees, ponds...spirit/ghost experiences...... THE BEST ❤️
As Muslims we say Bismillah, meaning starting with the name of Allah and eat with our right hand so that the devil cannot eat from our food ...❤
Thank you for explaining that.
Always, Alhamdulillah
When did she ask that? Timestamp pls
Why the right hand? I would like to understand 😊 many thanks
@@shelliedeux Because we believe the devil eats with his left hand, so we eat with our right hand
I so hope I get to travel around the world one of these days! There are so many foods I'd love to try from so many different places! I really enjoy your story times & when you show us how you make dishes! Hope everyone is doing well! 🙋🏻♀️💗
I love your story time. It's always all over the place but still got us to listen. More vlogs like this
I loved this so much…. I am Navajo (Native American) and a lot of our beliefs are “adjacent” like the same but not.. basically broken down to respect and that’s that.! Buuuut this is when you say “the people that get it…. Get it” 💕💕💕
This is perfect timing because I am not feeling my best and I love watching videos like this when I’m not feeling well because it helps me feel better
OMG we have a very very similar beliefs here in the 🇵🇭. We do believe in other entities we cannot see but they exist that's why we ask permission and give offerings as respect. Love your story time,we Filipinos believe all of those.
Trueeee 🇵🇭
I am in agreement with you. I too believe very similarly ❤❤
Everything you said made sense!! It wasn't too long at all. You had me really interested!! I was completely drawn in to the story time. You could talk about this forever and I'm almost certain that everyone here that's followed you for years (like I have) don't mind how long it is. 😊❤🎉😅
We have the same thing in my Native American culture. We put out spirit plates when we eat and if we forget and the food drops, we say “someone wanted it” and we make a plate for them and put it outside. Our elders also pray over our food before eating.
I love love story time. I think it’s a cool way of telling stories that we have never heard of before.
This is actually true, we have same experience when we do fishing in our province and we get so sick 😭 my aunt also do the same, she went to the river and ask forgiveness for us.
I’m loving these kind of stories sas! Now I’m invested lol
I feel the same way about the "higher power". I believe in things that cannot be explained. I have experienced many things from early childhood on. Thank you for sharing your stories! 💚🌿
Wow, SAS, give me a bite of that. It looks so good. I’m watching you eat and tell your Story and I’m eating frozen grapes ( if you have never eaten frozen grapes you really need to try them ), but I’m watching you and just wishing I had a juicy bite. You make it look so good.😊
Thank you for this. I’m into all of this and it makes me be even more mindful than before.
I’m the same as far as respecting everyone’s beliefs. I just wish everyone operated this way.
So much comparison to our culture here in Hawaii. Never sleep with your feet facing the door because it is also a path way for our spirits. Also putting an offering and doing a chant when entering sacred land or even another property. Feeling sick if you don’t do these things. The experience your cousin tong had, my sister in law experienced as well….this is why I love your channel. I find so much things that are similar to our way of life here in Hawaii as native Hawaiians. There is So much Aloha (love) in your community it makes my heart melt. And to top it off you’re just a great person doing great things🥰❤️
What an AMAZING STORY 🇹🇭 is a Special Place for sure 🌴 ❤️
I've experienced that sleep episode a few times when I was a child also. It's very real, and a scary feeling!!
I want more stories 🥰🥰🥰 I wished this was actually longer
I really believed about what you’re saying. Back to my country🇵🇭we do the same. I love your story and I heard that to my grandparents. Just give respect to all those things surrounds you. ❤Good luck.
I really hope you continue to share more stories, this video was so enjoyable to watch 🫶🏼
I have loved watching you since day 1... keep up the great content and thanks for sharing pieces of your beautiful, tranquil life with us ❤
I love these stories. I had very similar experiences like how the door to the window is a walkway I never knew that. I saw a man once walked in my room when I was sleeping and walked to the window I think I was just walking up. And I never thought about asking permission beforehand. When I visit my home with parents (home I grew up in) it seems to happen alot during the first few days. That's strange to me like the spirits don't recognize me or they're new spirits?
As a shamanism believer, we too believe in the other realm. I’ve heard stories of when my uncles go hunting, and none of them catch anything or killed any animals. I remember my grandfather saying that they are suppose to ask the mountain god if they are okay killing one of its animals. Even killing a pig, chicken, other animals, we thank them before killing them because of our offerings we do for ceremonies.
There are a lots of cultural similarities Indians share with people of Thailand. Our fastivals are kinda similar too
I can totally understand what you explained in this vdo today. We share our lives, meals with our ancestors. We respect and thank them.
They help us, protect us.
So ya one should know about their roots😊😊
Us Asians lives amongst ghosts and spirits everyday, it's always a requirement to offer them goods when doing anything (especially if you're out camping, alone, and or adventuring). Also, Thailand and Laos are full with horror stories for my people too it's crazy, one of the reason why I fear to visit 😭
We do the same here in the Philippines, offering food for our love one's passed away.
BARELY started watching and...I'm hungry already! 🤔🤣🥰🤗💖 Interesting, spooky stories! Thank-you! 🙏🏻
Yeah in the Vietnamese culture we believe sometimes spirits or ghosts sit on our chest while we’re sleeping on our backs. You’re awake but you can’t move or scream for help you can only open your eyes. I have asthma and a big fear of that so I’ve always slept on my sides for that reason. It’s happened to a lot of people. It’s like sleep paralysis I guess you can say in English. It’s scary 😩
I love how you guys have brands of stuff that have history behind it. Where is in the United States there isn’t much history behind products they sell.
I’m going to make your recipe today- about the tomatoes I think you meant acidic- right? So I’ll keep it out and add to it. I hope I can find Thai olives in California- doubt it but I’ll try! :)
Omg it's so peaceful there!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Ms Sas ❤ thanks for sharing stories, recipes. It is always interesting for me to know something new about Thai culture, traditions, food in your vlogs. Love you ❤❤
The thing i didnt believe in spirits or ghost until the events had me back to back. It was the strangest and i showed prooof to my family when it happen and the aftermath. And it what was happening in my home, and it was settled. They were there. Both of my phone not working, my van broked down and my new home ac broke down when everyone was there. And someone texted before my mother died at 52 said im sorry she passed away. Im never going to forget that. Cuz i txt back i said no...Now we know there was something. My mother passed away last yr on march at 52 yrs old. Not going to lie I thought i was crazy.
Wow I would love more of these stories cuz I believe in these
I believe in that. Filipinos have a lot of beliefs as well. There's no harm in being respectful in any way possible.
Love watching your videos so simple with the background remind me of my home!! Love love love and respect to you ❤❤❤
In my culture as a grassroots First Nation in Alberta Canada, our elders too say we have to feed our ancestors. Put out a spirit plate or food will drop lol
lying in bed and enjoying her vlog ❤❤❤
Love hearing all these stories
Did anyone noticed/heard right when Sas was talking about the spirits guidance and spirits that were here before us & the wind blew at 17:28-29
Hi Sas. Yeah kinda same here in the Philllippines as well. Also, just want to share, my mum or my paps usually light candle in order for the flies to go away. Hope that helps😊
Nooooo it was not a 60 min video...we want more longer one..make it 2 hours please 🙏🙏....i love this kind of vlog...no no i love all kinds of ur vlog...i just love all ur vlogs...
i love how u start the videos w you making the sauce! one day i'll make it but the process is so nice
Thank you, Sas, for sharing your family's cultural beliefs with us, I never felt you were all over the place telling your family's stories, you're conversations are real this way 💐💗
I think all Asian people believe in spirits and ghosts. Because in the Philippines, offering to the spirits is also done.
Yay story time 🎉❤❤❤❤
Wow. SAS I can listen to your stories all day. It's so fascinating. Love you.💖♥️💕🥰
Can you please show us how to pick green sweet young coconut that has thin meat inside ?
I always pick the one that is sour and no meat inside
I love these story times they are the best
Lots of love from Mauritius 🇲🇺. Hope one day you visit our lil island.❤
okay sas another great video but one question about the offering food. how can you offer food to the spirit if you are in a resturant or just you know anywhere where there isnt anywhere to put it at?
So enjoyed the stories ! I believe in spirits and also believe they hear us ❤ Food looks delicious!!
Hey SAS. I really enjoy your story time. I'm puerto rican so we believe in spirit.
Sas, thank you for sharing your recipes, so delicious.
Love to hear stories especially from the elders. God Bless you and your family.
Thanks for sharing, Sas. Ancestors and the spiritual realm are definitely real. They must be honored.
You actually were not all over the place. You are telling it wonderfully. I think sometimes you have to jump around so it gives us a backstory on certain things. I love listening to you tell stories. Aaron too when you guys are together. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes msg is key to flavor 😊
I totally believe you. When we were back in the Philippines, before we eat, we throw a bit of food outside our house.
Hi Sas, Ooohhh story time. Fun fun 📖😊💜
Jesus is the way the truth and the life, there is no other God that can save us.
Amen ❤❤❤❤
Hi sas! love the story time. We also have the same incident here in the Philippine in our province. Instead of pond, it's a Narra tree. That's their gate to the other side and one time there's a cobra on that tree (not a common thing to happened in our area) so my grandfather give an offering and he ask the cobra to hide because us.. his grandchildren are coming.
I can relate to ur story. Almost the same as my Tongan culture we believe in all that type of stuff.
Yay SAS you kept your word! Thank you for sharing, btw the food looks absolutely amazing! God bless you ❤❤
but what if they do not give their permission, how do you know if they allow? 🤔
Im a Christian but I find this so interesting. Thanks for sharing! ❤ Do you live with your mom while in Thailand?
I love these stories 😅
Perfect timing ❤👑🪽🌱😊
Great vlog, I really enjoyed this episode.
Hi Sas! You just had a theme going on so nope, you were not everywhere. ❤ I'm Chinese and we have cultural similarities. For us, we don't invite "those" things so we don't mention it in the house and change the energy. lol. So maybe that's what Sis meant. my grandfather says, to an extent, we still have slight power over control so u don't mention it to give IT power (kinda like free will). I love it when u share these stories, it brings a bunch of us together through cultural similarities. PS, I love the long video. Hope you have more long ones too!!! Also, can u elaborate more on how to ask permission to sleep? Like can we ask through internalization? Or we gotta say it out loud? 😅 asking cuz I gotta travel for work soon again.
I enjoyed your stories and I believe them. Please tell us more.
I was thinking about the food offering that you forgot to do but you caught yourself in time 😊
I love your story times I've have experiences I totally believe
Always love when you make papaya salad!
Which pickled garlic do you recommend?
Some call it the Divine, some call it the Great Spirit while others call it God. There are many names. I enjoyed my College World Religion class because I learned about the beliefs that were different from mine.
I love seafood and all kinds of fish but Salmon goes against me. I had bad Salmon years ago and since can't eat it. I love seeing you eat it though. 😊
Story time begins at 14:30 😀
Sounds like sleep paralysis…your eyes are open but u cannot move.
Hi Sas, i come from a little island of Guam. We do have ancestral spirits and just like your culture we do also have to ask for permission. If we dont we do get sick really sick and we do have to ask for forgiveness to.we do have alot of beliefs. I love hearing about your culture similiar to us chamorros. Love watching your videos. from the Island of Guam.
Hi SAS food looks delicious, thank you for sharing your story 😊 ❤
Thanks for sharing the food is amazing ❤❤
Love this video
And yes do believe it is real we do the same in Trinidad 🇹🇹
🇩🇴 as well
It sounds like what we call obeah.
In the Philippines we call them "engkanto" and literally they almost get me as offering from my school when I was a kid. because that school that I go to was built in their property maybe. And every graduating student. literally yearly there is some kid who died for some reason. and in my year I'm the one who got sick and I literally dream of them getting me on a helicopter. Lucky me my grandparents are both albularyo(herb doctor) and both religious and I stayed in their house for a month and when I get hallucinations they hear noises in the roof and in my dream there's a hand who wants to get me getting in a helicopter. It's a little scary. I experienced a lot but that's the clearest to me.
cant order on ur website from france because shipping is out of this world
Finally my first comment ❤I’m your big fan from 2016💕
Can we have a part 2 story time please :)
I pray that you find your way back to God . I’m from Samoa where we have similar stories but as a Christian I don’t believe in that stuff anymore because i only believe and follow God ,i believe in the higher power of God .
I'm here for story time😊
*There are no spirits; the belief in the dead still hanging around the living is insane.*
We Filipinos and Thai have the same beliefs to that and those we can’t see was not just spirits but also elementals from other dimension, and we have similar also when it comes to food
I enjoy hearing others beliefs! I believe in the one true living God and I call him Jesus!
He came to earth as flesh, bled and died for our sins. Rose again in 3 days and is now in Heaven preparing a place to live with Him for eternity!
Your food looks amazing!
I love hearing about your beliefs! It's so interesting to me! Thank you for sharing!! 💜❤
So im a christian.
I was in labour I dialted smoothly until i was 9 cm dialted. I was stuck on 9 for 3 hrs. So in my head I thought i should ask the midwife to pray…. As my thought ended, she started praying without me asking….😮 so then 30 mim later im trying to bounce om the big ball and the midwife duale, photographer and my mom and husband is standing around me and I asked for them to pray, my mom left to call and ask for 2 of her friends to pray-10-15 min later my 1st twin Came out 13 min after that my 2nd twin
And ive experienced 2 other thing the one pretty scary and the other one was wierd.
My
I think after listening to your story, all the incidents that occurred in your house in Thailand have all happened and are also believed in Indonesia... Indonesia and Thailand seem to have a culture, right?
