One of the many reasons this game died on release was that ArcSys literally didn't let anyone upload/stream the story mode for the game (other reason the game died was it was damn near as barren in game modes as Demon Slayer was) so there was nothing to do/watch from anybody playing the game other than ranked matches (I also remember hearing something about them changing the story as well)

Yeah it just came out to late, 5 years after the anime is a death sentence and people started to get burned out on arena fighters as well. It would be a surprise if it did well honestly.
This game just shows Arc sys is truly the best art designers of any developer and should be trusted with all anime fighting games in the art department

this game was slept on. Its a really good game. Gameplay and everything was on point. I only remember Globku covering this game. I honestly never knew DD ever covered the game. I might have to check them out for old time sake. I still boot this game up to just do combos once in a blue moon. I hope one day it gets a second chance. It deserved it. They didn't do anything for the game if i remember correctly other than just being a publisher it was A+ Games the ones who made the My little witch academy game Developed this game. They also have Guilty Gear and Blazblue skins in here. just some love back towards Arcsys. If i am correct Ryuko is the only one that has a Blazblue Color and everyone else has a Guilty Gear color. Anyway Thanks for playing this game out of the blue. Its truly was a great surprise.

I bought this game solely because I am a Starving Kill La Kill fan and I’m not gonna lie watching this just made me wanna learn how to properly play this game, I didn’t even know there was insta kills Lmfao 🤣
I remember being very excited for this game with a friend and when we tried to play online we were unable to invite to play and were unable to find anyone at all. Lobbies were so bad that even though we were the only 2 players logged in we still could not find nor invite to play a single round.
Unfortunate part is that I t’s not even the devs fault. It’s just that the franchise itself doesn’t have a lot of characters to add for the game which explains the dry content it got. I seriously love the art style n I would kill someone for Arcs to make a 3d fighter arena of Yu Yu Hakushow or any popular shonen game. Kill la Kill if could have lived longer if the franchise had more characters n rework Satsuki cuz Jesus I remember the dual wield Satsuki n how busted she was☠️☠️☠️ (Deadass just drop the controller if ur versing a good Dual wield Satsuki build). I’m surprised n glad yall playing this game. Wish I played it back when online match was alive
