- Simona Brown as Violet Todd in Grantchester. 💭
The reasons why Sidney wanted to be with Violet are because she is direct, honest, she makes him happy but she also challenges him indeed she makes him want to do and be better. The reasons why she wanted to be with him are he understands her purpose and he wants her to fulfill it. He also makes her believe in herself. 🗣⛪️

do they end up together
@@carmyt312 yes. he gives up his life and follows her to America... and this is during Jim Crow.
He left for her too. That scene was amazing.
I wish the video lasted more than 20 seconds😭😭😭
Love these two! A couple who fits the enemies to lovers trope would be Chris and Wendy from Blood and Water (s2), and maybe Fikile and Sam too.
Did your videos get deleted? 😢
Thank y’all for re uploading. I can’t imagine how much work that is

I love how everyone in the comments forgot about Amanda
Lovely
❤️❤️
seeing sidney with violet reminds me of that storyline in endeavour when morse dated that jamacian nurse
In which cases and or seasons do they stay together?
Season 4, Episode 1 and 2 😊
Please is this on Netflix?
No. It’s on Amazon.
What they did to Sidney in S4 is so out of character. He and Amanda are made for each other.
Amanda had a whole baby by her HUSBAND. if she really wanted him she realized it too late and has to live with her choices. Sidney got to move on without all her baggage.
@hangry265 Amanda did not have a choice, not really. Because she had a baby, she shouldn't love home? No. These two were made for each other. The plotline of Sidney choosing the faith over her, only for the next season to have him leaving the church for a woman is ridiculous
@jeon_cena I agree but I think the issue was Amanda was divorced... Still not making a lot of sense. I never liked that she married a man she didn't love. But it was arranged by her dad and that's how they did back then. The back and forth between Amanda and Sydney was frustrating. Though I did enjoy him with Violet, I feel is was a bit rushed
