when A10 drops its salvo and it hits the ground target, you hear the target impact first and only then you hear the burst sound from the plane. if speed of sound is correctly programmed into the game, then i guess this is how we would hear it in real life too
The bullets are traveling faster than the speed of sound I believe, so when they impact the ground close to you and they get there faster than the sound from the initial fire shot in your direction, then you will hear the impact first, in those scenarios.

Though it shoots in bursts only and this simulation doesn't do it justice. The jet is an A-10 thunderbolt , arguably the best air to ground plane in existence. A cool video to check out for the C-RAM, look up the US embassy in Iran getting attacked at night by missiles.

Yes, well you would'nt send any aircraft into an AA defense grid. The A-10 is a subsonic speed support aircraft, it doesnt perform well in any AA fire. It's tough though, same as the russian Frogfoot.
