Young fox rescued after a WEEK trapped underground!

- We often say that young foxes get stuck in some very odd places, but this little one certainly found one of the strangest!
This poor cub had spent a WEEK trapped in a small hole in the middle of a roundabout before a passer by called us for help. Luckily, Lawrie quickly rushed over to the scene, but the race was on to try and get him back home to his mum...

Special shout out to Mike for doing all that ground work to make sure the cub got home to his family. Thank you, Mike!
Very much so! He did an INCREDIBLE job getting the little guy back home!
@@wildlifeaid Much praise to Lawrie et al as usual for their amazing work, but many, many cheers and plaudits for Mike for going way above and beyond the already super-high bar!
Wish I could afford to send Wildlife Aid some financial support, or even by a drink of his preference for Mike, but alas there is very little money to be had as a disabled person in Australia this century.
Much love and respect for *everyone* at Wildlife Aid though, especially those that don't show up in front of the cameras!
Yes well done! It's so rare we see the actual family reunion on camera too - wow!
Very Heartwarming reunion guys 🐾 Thank you Mike & Lawrie
😊
Please let's not skip the ads!
Thank you!
Ads are a function of YT.
Don't gripe at Wildlife Aid.
@AndrewBlacker-wr2ve You've misread that. They're encouraging people to sit through the ads (even when skipping becomes possible), so that WAF collect a little extra (ad) revenue ✌🏼
Oh, goodness! What a tiny little baby! So glad you got him/her out of there and home to mum.
He was indeed! Thanks so much for the support :)
@@wildlifeaid Thank YOU!
"Summer seems to have fallen on a Tuesday this year", haha love that comment.
beautiful rescue & reunion of this cute little fox cub 🦊🦊
Thank you so much!
We are truly fortunate to have individuals of this caliber who dedicate their time and effort to safeguard and care for our wildlife during times of distress and vulnerability.
Thank you so much :)
He seemed so much bigger in the hole ,poor little thing .
He was definitely a tiny thing!
Great rescue! and good detective work to find mum. I hope the hole gets filled - it was really deep! Seems little cub is a good digger!
Thanks so much. Mike definitely did an amazing job! The hole was reported to the local council to be filled in :)
@@wildlifeaid I hope bureaucracy in that area is swift as apoliticans can be.
I'm so glad there were kind people there to feed the little one until rescue. And that was some dedication by Mike to not only find the cub's family, but stay until it was sure thing they found each other and the little one was welcomed back. Such a nice reunion I'm glad the baby was able to return home.
Thankyou ❤️🦊
Thinking of Simon..best wishes!!
Thank you
In a sometimes hostile and ever faster world where people seem to have forgotten to stretch out the hand of simple kindness, videos like this are so very welcome. Terrific rescue and outcome.... I didnt expect the cub to reunite with its natural family, thats amazing dedication.... well done !
I can’t believe the people who live there took one whole week to call! Poor baby!! 💔😭😭
What gorgeous floppy little ears this cub has 💜🧡💜
A special thanks to Mike for his stellar efforts in getting this little one back with mum 😊xXx
Don’t say sorry for Laurie Brailey because he has been well trained by Simon and he’s really become a great animal rescuer……Thank you Wildlife Aid for all you do…
Спасибо большое, что Вы есть!
Mike made my day!
Lawrie and Meriem too, of course.
Thank you! Mike did an amazing job!
No sorry Lawrie. Perfect job. Team Lawrie. Team Simon.
Thank you!
Such a baby😢😢😢. Thank you for saving her ❤❤❤❤❤
💖💖👍👍 as usual going the extra mile. Thank you
Can we all just admire the versatility of the Wildlife Aid rescuers? What with Lawrie’s filming, tree climbing, bird-of-pray and pidgin netting, hole diving, swan catching (as well as being able to take a beating 😂), lake rescuing, etc., plus their network of investigators to find the dens, burrows, nests and warrens of various wildlife, these people are absolutely the best of the best. Simon, you raised them well. Well done, Sir!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful work . Commenting for the algorithms 💚💚💚💚
Love to all the fox lovers out there 🦊🥰🥰🥰
"If you like our videos"...I LOVE your videos! The work that Wildlife Aide provides to all creatures great and small is amazing and worthy of praise!🙌
Satisfying. Well done splendid folk.
Thanks so much :)
Thank you! Amazing reunion with mum!
It was amazing to see! Thanks for the support!
Well done Lawrie, that hole could have collapsed at any time. Also well done Mike for his patience.
Thank you for looking after all the wildlife 🦊🦊🦝🦝🐭🐭🐰🐰🦔🦔🦢🦢🦆🦆
Such an adorable little guy.
He was indeed!
Another rescue by Lawrie, well done sir.
Thanks a lot :)
Thanks for saving that little cub. I'm not sure what that hole was there for I hope they covered it up. Don't want anymore fox's to find themselves in trouble.
Great job well done it’s always good to see that thank you for kindness 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much :)
Blimey…. Laurie is a legend….. but special props to Mike for doing all that detective work!!!!
Great rescue, as usual.
That hole looks perfect for planting a 🌳. Any guerrilla gardener in the area? 😀
.Such a very tiny cub .and wonderful he's back with family telling a great story to them .Better the hole than run over..That really was A Hole In One or should that be One In A Hole ? Great work WAF 👍👏🏻🦊
Thanks so much! :)
Good going Lawrie and also happy to hear Simon's voice. Simon, I can relate a little as I am in stage four if you understand. Thank you all for making these excellent videos
I didn’t expect the fox cub to be that tiny. Poor little fella
Hooray for Lawrie!
A week? Thankyou Wildlife Aid what would UK Wildlife do with out Real Heroes like you
O M G!! I wanted to fill that hole in straight after Lawrie left with that bairn!!! Such an amazing rescue to see. And amazing how resilient our wildlife is!!! Big up for Lawrie, voice over Simon and Mike for the family reunion ♡♡♡ gotta love WAF
You detectives never fail to amaze me.
Thanks so much :)

A week in that hole? 😳🤦♂️

Nice job there Lawrie.
You would have thought the council would be on top of 'health and safety' issues as a child could fall down there too!
Thank you! The hole was reported to the local council to be filled in after the rescue :)
I get what you're saying but it's far fetched.
The green of a roundabout is not a place people use for any purpose other than decorations.
@@AndrewBlacker-wr2ve BS. You obviously don't know how stupid some people can get. I worked on the railway [train driver] and some passengers didn't even know which way the train was moving! Why do you think no swim warnings have to be given out for disused mining lakes. Drunks could fall in.
I hope the hole is filled in quickly.
Excellent detective work, Mike! Well done to all of you. Very happy to hear Simon's narration again as well!
Another great fox cub rescue by Wildlife Aid!! 🦊🦊🦊
Thank you all so so much...no animal deserves to suffer.
Awww. Mahalo nui loa beloved WAF ohana. Your videos no matter what are always inspiring and informative. Sending Love from Hawaii❤
Potholer to be added to Lawries ever continuing skills...
Haha! No two days are the same here!
That's one unhappy trooper, but a lucky one.
Great work, especially from Mike.
As one who loves your channel. I don't care what happens with the audio just as long as I get to see the pictures. Don't apologize. Stuff happens😅 you people do incredible work. Thank you for all that you do. It's amazing🎉
Amazing you've found the cubs Mum❤
Tiny! Wonderful job, everyone involved! Thank you!
Great rescue
'...Summer seems to have fallen on a Tuesday this year...' - Priceless 🤣
Well done!
Thank you!
Great job as usual
Lawrie has become everything Simon hoped for, and more.
Thank you so much :)
@01:50 The cub's little face looks so worried!
Great rescue!❤
It’s wonderful to see, that the little one is back with his family. 🥰
Amazing! This is one of the best chanel about animals!❤
Aww thank you! That means a lot!
😱 cor blimey what a place for it to get into, so glad you were able to get the poor little guy out. Cracking good video thanks 💖😁
Whoa, what a lovely little fox, and a lucky little fox too.🦊👍
I love these videos. This is a fantastic charity and I will be donating.
Cute baby ❤
He was indeed!
Great work 😊
Thank you!
Well done ❤
Very well done, as always! ❤️
Great work again, one would hope that hole gets filled in..
Great job! Well done for finding his family and reuniting them. Your dedication is fantastic.
Great job Mike and Lawrie! Shoutout to the people who fed that little cub before he could be rescued.
Yay, Mike 😂.
He did an amazing job!
Fox: "Whelp, guess that's my life now. Gonna dig a den down here."
Thank you Lawrie, Mike, Meriem and Simon!
Where have you guys been? Need a new video hopefully soon! 😍
That was an amazing rescue and may I also say I just love to see your subscribtion number creep up towards 500.000... You all deserve it: great cause, great videos!
Oh, he is tiny!
He certainly was!
💗💗💗💗
YAAY nice ending
It really took people a week to ask for help? If the fox wasnt stuck, a simple board for him to climb out would have been enough.
Unfortunately yes!
Little kit has a wild story for the family.
“I lived in a hole for a week and got rescued by aliums!”
I always look forward to a new vid but feel so guilty that another animal must be trapped or injured for that to happen...
🦊💖
Thanks Wildlife Aid team 👍
Sense this was on government owned or public land, isn't there a Wildlife department that does rescue work? Possibly fire department?
He heard Laurie coming!
Why on earth would the council have left a whacking great hole on the roundabout though?!
❤
Altho I know they're wild animals & I want them to be free, they're such adorable little babes as cubs. How I'd love to cuddle & play w/one as I would a pet, if only for a moment.
💕X🥰O💕X🥰O💕X🥰O💕
Hope someone filled that hole in before something else or someone else falls in. That is really dangerous.
🦊😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
wow this UK version of 'Ted the Caver' is incredible
That's not a hole.
It's a cave!
Hehe, it was quite big!
@@wildlifeaid Was this hole/cave perhaps a fox den previously?
Why on earth did nobody report this for a week?
🦊👍
to cute
Thank you!
A week though I mean that's a long time to not call wildlife aid
Are you guys okay? Starting to worry 🥺
The detective work by Mike would've been interesting
