my squad of 8 is ready all with 2 giga toxtricity and 1 giga venusaur at level 40 and attack at 3. 4 of us will use a mushroom, then after those 30 min have the other 4 use one. hopefully this plan works well as we dont all want to use 1 and only get like 3 battles in
@KitDoctor pretty good actually! With only 2 teams we did the exit and enter strat to make sure it only had hydro pump or surf. Only Did 10 though cuz of particles, but a good 1 mil exp and like 400k dust was very tasty. Those mushrooms help exponentially!!
@@KitDoctor it's a learn as you thing. Hopefully your area will be more prepped for the next one after doing this one. And definitely how more ways of getting mushrooms without buying!
I got my 96% Greedent at level 40 with bullet seed and trailblaze. Will be experimenting a bit with a squad of 25. I'm pairing this guy with D-Toxtricity and Metagross (Max shield).
Btw another UA-camr tested Max Moves versus raising CP. Raising CP is more efficient than Max Moves if you lack the candy to level up both. I am raising my Toxtricity to the 2500 pvp threshold then leveling up Max Moves. His test showed the damage was identical but that the higher CP character lasted longer and thus did more damage. He leveled his Toxtricity to 2500 also.
@grahamfloyd3451 i recall a similar test from a UA-cam vlogger but I swear it was the opposite way for more damage output upon having limited resources
You said that regular Pokemon dont do any damage to the Gmax boss, does that mean that the single purpose of a regular pokemons attacks is to charge up the max meter?
Don't tell me, Gogoat this Safari Zone locked Pokemon will be available globally for free during Goat Lunar New Year in 2027?! This is already gone through Gogoat of Kalos Tour Pokemon. Hence we need to wait for this mountain goat Pokemon like hell.
Okay I was sure the dynamax bubbles helped more swiping to them versus just soly clicking fast moves. When charging the dynamax meter. So dynamax toxicity is better than a dynamax machamp for damage with dmax attacks so for just soly you individual lineup not worrying who's grouped in your 4 person lobby. Would you think 2 attackers and 1 tank or 2 tanks and 1 attacker?
Pretty sure they made all Gigantamax pokemon unsoloable but considering even groups of 40 people can lose to it with like 120 pokemon when you only have 3. Maybe there is a way I'm not sure
Im ready with my big group of one 😆
So focus on Fast Attacks and swiping for charge ups? Got it.

How did that strategy end up working out for your group?

@@lordlucario8828 Nice! I was part of a much less prepared team of 12 but we were able to get 2 raids done with people using their free mushrooms.

5:14 greedent with grass type attacks! :)

I'm ready with my shiny Dmax Machamp. But also I'm lucky I have an area that will have 30+ people per raid anyway lol.

Lapras on the intro video!
9:10 they are not doing their CHARGED moves (Billy mistakenly said "fast")
You said that regular Pokemon dont do any damage to the Gmax boss, does that mean that the single purpose of a regular pokemons attacks is to charge up the max meter?
Yes, you want to Max ASAP, as you're immune to damage and doing the most damage.
Thank you
Where in HK will you be taking on the lapras?
So will like 10 people be able to take it down? Will it even be worth the try?
Where exactly on Hong kong are you playing ?

Regular Pokemon do all fast moves charge the max meter at the same rate?
Can i save my max energy today and use extra 800 max energy tomorrow? Or it will reset
You can save it and it will carry over without affecting your daily pickup limit unless they changed something.

2 atk is better. if you only have 1 atk....the secret timer will trigger and the boss become enraged and ko everyone in one move
@reynalddiegas8428 much appreciate the intell i was wondering which is overall more useful
Why not all day? Why they do only few hr for an event. 😢
Better be weather boosted with how cold 🥶 it is
Why isn't gmax lapras a good defender?
How about gmax gengar and gmax charizard?
Gengar is tanky, too. Can be used as Defender and/or Healer. Charizard ...weak against water.
Using Charge Moves will fill up the Dynamax-meter much faster than using Fast Moves, only. Give it a try and see for yourselves.
It actually depends on the fast and charge moves. There is no one option that is always correct.
Unless you have 40 to 50 trainers to fight Gigantimax Lapras, don't waste your time.
@DrDarrellCoats well one local group can swarm it with 2 full lobbies so plenty!
@davidkramer984 That's forty. Not everyone lives in a large city.
You only need 20ish if everyone is decently leveled. They have nerfed it if you haven’t tried since the original GMax
Me here already given up as we got 10 people max 😂😂😂😂 also its windy and cold
Use the mushrooms for double damage at least until you have captured a few gmax Lapras
I got hundo beldum ❤
Lucky duck, I’ve been grinding raids for one but haven’t gotten close.
@charliepaglini2466 it took me many raids, grind you will also get it✌🏻🙌🏻
Havent been able to do any gigantamax battles. We dont have enough people and niantic doesnt care
Pogo family y'all sleeping on Greedent it gotta grass type fast move
My dude your cooking, love it
@DanielHuespe lol I got u fam ✊🏾
On it as well. I got a level 40 waiting for the raid this Sunday.
@@LV-bl6jc level 40 my guy a real grinder I know that took hella XL 🍬
Family how'd that Greedent work out for y'all
Work work work work work 😢
Dope vid Billy, D/G-amad battles still don’t appeal to me
Can I solo this?
