Agree. With audience, we feel like watching the show. With this chitchat, we feel like hanging out with friends. That's their winning formula, separates this show from other late night show

James is from a musical theatre background. Most musicals are about people making, staring, or trying to star in a musical. A talk show about a talk show makes sense

I swear I love this dynamic, I've always liked the show but now it's something else ❤️ I haven't missed a single vid here on youtube since this dynamic became a thing, and if it goes on I will never miss a vid again❤️ plz don't change this when the studio audience comes back to the show. Everything with James, Nick, Ian, Louis, George, Reggie, Susan, Steve, Pete, Guillermo, Hagar and everyone else is so much fun to watch ❤️ I can't get enough of it ❤️❤️❤️
Yes! Since the crew banter started I actually seek out episodes that I missed, really want to watch all of them.

I speak for so many people when I say if there was a blessing to come out of the last terribly tragic year, it was this new free-flowing format. If you cave to the CBS executives pressure to bring back a "live" audience you'll lose the magic that has propelled you all to the #1 late night show on TV (and youtube!) not just in America but around the world! In a forgettable, completely overdone TV landscape with so many unoriginal copies of generic formats and imitations this current show is definitely one in a billion. Never forget that! #FINSUP
THANKS PROF: You are speaking for us. I am kind of surprised how hard it was for late night people who were on shows, under these circumstances. It tested the creativity of professional people who think they are creative. And so many of these late night people would just complain about it (SC especially).
