This reminds me of our trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico at the Valentin Imperial!! Sooo majestic and adult only! We loved it! Will definitely check this resort out.

Hey Anita and Lonnie nice resort it look so claim there especially by the water I am like u when u go to a resort they always want u to join the time-share even though u don't have to the presentation for one thing is too long and you there for a vacation not to sit there 90 minutes cuz that 90 minutes seem like it can be forever and then there go past that trying to get you to sign up Enjoy the holiday

Hey Ms. Malika64, Lonnie has been all over Europe, I haven't, but we do plan to go together. Neither of us have been to Hawaii yet or Africa. However, those are places that are on our list. There are still a lot of places here in the US that we want to visit as well. TFW!

Hi, what was daytime pool vibe, was their music and activities at pool like pool volleyball, or other stuff or is it just quiet
Hi, yes, they had activities, games, and music during the day by the pool. I filmed this a few years ago so I can’t say how it is now but, when we went there was quite a bit going on by the pool during the day. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed at Secrets Cobo and got free day pass to the Breathless sister property. Going to Secrets Maroma soon & will check out Secrets Moxie (brand new) and only 9 miles away!

We did secrets cap canna in the DR in 2016 when it first opened it was beautiful. Also we have done wild orchid in Jamaica, but I think it’s time for them to upgrade lol. Love your content and I always like the video before even watching. Also thanks for the name Dad lol love it lol

Beautiful place, question was everything inclusive? and being in Mexico did you feel unsafe at anytime?
Tonia Maiden yes, this was an all-inclusive gated resort and we felt safe. When we did venture off the resort for our excursions, they were professional guided tours and we felt completely safe during our trip. TFW!😊

So, how would you rank the 3 Secrets you visited: Orchid, Maroma, and Akumal?
Honestly, they were all great and the food and service was awesome at all of them. However, since you asked me to rank them, I will. #1 Akumal (overall everything was bomb and it was super fun), #2 Wild Orchid (the rooms were starting to look dated is my only complaint, but this resort was a lot fun), #3 Maroma (Great resort, but like I said excellent if you want to really relax like we did and more of a chill vibe than a party vibe, still great though. I have actual vlogs for each of these resorts in my travel playlists if you want to see for yourself.

Awesome video! I loved the room tour that you did as well. My girlfriend and I are going here in December and I’ve personally never been to an all inclusive resort. My question to you is, should I tip the employees for everything (drinks, food, room service, etc.) or should I tip for main meals and bigger things like that?
Hey Stephen, thank you. If you are hanging out at the pool or the beach for the day, you will generally have the same person waiting on you all day and they will let you know when they are getting ready to leave, so we would tip them for the day either before we left or they left and they are happy with whatever you give them, we usually did between $5 or $10 per day, but It's your choice. They are so appreciative of whatever you give them. Now at sit down meals, we tipped after every meal normally about $2 for breakfast because it's normally buffet and they are just bringing you drinks, dinner was a little more and like I said we normally ate lunch by the pool or beach so we tipped at the end of the day. We tipped room service on the day that we checked out. Also, they say tips are already included, but they do work hard and treat the guest really well. Hope that helps and have a great time.

Hey Charlene, No there wasn't much of a language barrier everyone that we dealt with at the resort and on our excursion spoke and understood English.
Why is the water brown?
Because of climate change, the summer we were there Mexico had an algae invasion, which consisted of rotten seaweed that turned the water brown. We did not know this was happening until we arrived. However, it started to disappear before we left. I think I mentioned in the video. The water is back to normal now.
I oved the resort, perhaps i'll take a trip there, lol
This was very helpful! I was thinking of doing a destination wedding there...did you see any weddings? Would you recommend for a wedding? You mentioned its more relaxed and not "party"... if a big group went for a wedding- do you think it would be fun? is there any music at the pools? -- Thanks!
Hey Dana, I didn’t see weddings there when I was there, but I will say that it would be a beautiful resort to have a wedding. I do think a big group would have fun and yes there is music played at the pool. I just didn’t see people getting drunk and being all loud and obnoxious....lol. Now that’s not to say it doesn’t happen. Don’t get me wrong when I say it is a more relaxed atmosphere, we still had fun and they have activities and parties planned everyday. However, we are older so it was perfect for what we wanted. I think before you decide to have your wedding there that you and your fiancé check it out first to be sure it meets your needs. They did have some bomb food...lol.
