@user-ql4pq2iu2h really heavy workloads, video editing with tons of effects, virual machines. Headroom, having all 4 dimms filled up looking cool. Bragging rights ha
try to boot into BIOS and see if there is an option for XMP/ DOCP. which is for overclocking memory. sometimes motherboard doesn't boot into the correct Ram speed so all you got to do is enable XMP/DOCP in your BIOS and it should run at the speed your Ram was suppose to run which was 4000mhz from the video I see. If you don't know how to do any of this steps just watch a video on youtube about XMP/DOCP
every motherboard that is branded should have XMP/DOCP as a option to enable unless your motherboard that you're using is a off brand then in that case some off brand motherboard don't have the option to overclock ram but it doesn't hurt to check on BIOS
@@xpodx your generation of intel only supports 2666mhz. so even if you get a mobo that supports 4000mhz, it will still run 2666mhz since thats the supported speed that your processor can run it at. i think 10th gen intel still runs 2666mhz too
What do you think cases for 64 gb of ram would be? Trying to see if I need it for future proof coming from 32

@user-ql4pq2iu2h so you might be all good ha
i didnt see any difference between 16 to 32gb or am i wrong?
@filo196 idk...in ww2 it felt smoother. Noticeable. Plus 16gb doesn't account for fb, 4k yt discord etc all running at the same time.

Xmp is enabled And at 2400mhz works perfectly fine. It won't go past it. Sadly the 4000mhz isn't being used all the way.

Z390 can run 4266 mhz. That's my main. I'm currently at 3600mhz. 64gb
@@xpodx is the board restricted to use higher clocks i set all mine manually?
