  • John from www.discountjuicers.com/ compares the Omega NC800 and the Omega CNC80 Juicers. In this review comparison episode, you will learn the specific differences and similarities between these two cold press juicers and discover if it is worth buying the Omega NC800 instead of the Omega CNC80 Compact Model.
    Next, John will compare each model, part-by-part so you can learn the differences between the juicers. John will also share why some of the design and parts of the juicer are different and which may be best.
    You will then learn how to assemble each juicer, which is fairly similar. They are easy to assemble once you do it a few times.
    Next, John will do a juice-off comparison test, and juice equal amounts of carrots, cucumber, apple and swiss chard in each model. You will learn how long it takes to juice and how much juice each model makes, along with how much pulp was put into the juice. You will also learn how yield may be artificially inflated by having extra pulp contained within the juice.
    Finally, John will share his summary of these two juicers and make his recommendation if you should purchase the Omega NC800 or Omega Compact CNC80 juicer.
    After watching this episode, you will learn the differences between the Omega NC800HDS Juicer and the Omega Compact CNC80S Juicer.

    It's as if the NC800 (which looks like a hound dog with a long snout from the side), gave birth to a puppy. They are both adorable, functional, and potty trained. My NC800 sometimes leaks a little bit, but so does my beagle dog when excited. I love them both. What's not to love! Another great video, John!

    Very happy with my Solostar 4, thank you for the fast shipping, John... and to Tribest, replaced my broken auger housing post haste.

    Thanks! I watched your videos before buying the NC800, and I'm really happy with it. I just drank some ginger carrot juice.

      Instead of tipping it, I wait for the motor to stop and then hit reverse for 1 second, wait, then forwards again 1 second. Gets the last bit out.

    Hi John,
    I would to buy a slow juicer, I need your help which one is the best I can buy. Please let me know the 3 best juicer in your opinion even vertical or like these types in this video ?! Many thanks in advance. Also, I would to ask you about kitchenmaid attachment juicer if you have used it or any opinion, experience about that.

      The best juicer is the one that will best meet your needs. For my needs, I prefer the vertical auger style machines. see

    I apologize, I haven't watched the rest of this, just 5 min in but my question is do you still like the NC 800 as well or the same as the NC 900? I think the NC 900 has another step in the gear if I'm remembering correctly? Do you find cleaning the 900 and 800 is about the same?
    You mention the nc 800 being your favorite juicer but I thought the vertical one was your favorite? Don't mind me I'm in the middle of a move so my brain is a little bit confused LOL

      I like the NC800 and NC900 the same. They are the SAME machine, only the color is different. Mechanically, they are the same. Cleaning is the same. The NC800 is my favorite horizontal auger juicer. The VSJ843 is my favorite vertical juicer (and overall)

      Thx! I have tried both of those before, and found that the 8006 was easier to clean than the vertical one. Might have just been what I was juicing. I do a lot of carrots and mix it with a lot of greens very very little fruit.

    Instead of getting wider, feed chute actually gets smaller ? Are you kidding us Omega ? One of my best(favorite) companies in the industry and they can't make compact juicers with 2 inch feed chutes?....

    John - When juicing something big like a watermelon
    1. Should you juice the entire melon ?
    2. If not then how do you store the water melon ?
    3. Does it hurt to juice 3 or 4 times a day ?
    4. What if you are mostly juicing fruits ?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  7 років тому +3

      1). Yes, I often do. With the rind and seeds.
      2) put some plastic wrap over it and put it in the fridge.
      3) no, thats what I prefer.
      4) For juicing mostly fruits, I prefer the Omega VSJ843, It works best on fruits. That being said, I recommend eating or vacuum blending fruits instead of juicing them.

      Thanks for the reply as I have been watching your videos and was worried about the quality of the fruit once I had juiced .
      I had seen you say that the juice starts breaking down fast do to oxidation so I didn't know about the remaining hole fruit.
      I wish I would have know that about the fruit as I just purchased a Omega VSJ843QR juicer.
      I really like it compared to my centrifuge juicer.
      Thanks for all the videos

    John, the issue you are having wth the CNC is the same as I have with the 8006 unit. What juicer would you suggest for over the road truckers where both space and power are limited?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  7 років тому

      Depends on what you are juicing. I fancy the Omega VSJ843, has a smaller footprint, and juices quicker.

      I totally agree with the above. The NC800 is a work horse that cleans up very easily. Period.
