Leaders at this year’s African Union summit have condemned Israel’s assault on Gaza and called for its immediate end. Kenyan writer and political analyst Nanjala Nyabola explains the long history of African solidarity with Palestine, continuing with today’s efforts to end the destruction of Gaza. African countries “see really an identical experience between Palestinian occupation and what they have endured under colonization,” says Nyabola. “It’s a question of history. It’s a question of solidarity. It’s a question of shared experiences of all of these systemic types of violence.”

I have no concern or worry for palestine as an african. Arabs do not have any worry or concern for us. Why aren't their fellow arabs taking up this cause? What are palestinians doing for africans enslaved across many arab nations? Nothing. This isn't our problem.

We learn about the Palestinian struggle in elementary school in Africa back in the 80s. We stand with Palestinian since 1948 and will continue until Palestine is free.
Zahir Muhsein was a Palestinian leader of the pro-Syria As-Sa'iqa Ba'athist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization between 1971 and 1979.
In an interview with Trouw Magazine, 31. March 1977 he stated....."The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new tool to continue the fight against Israel and for Arab unity.

The ICJ never said nothing about stopping the war. Even though it criticized Israel, it Actually it said more or less the opposite.
Gaslighting at its finest. The court didn't find Israel guilty of genocide because that wasn't in the purview of the court. It also didn't find OJ guilty or where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. What it did do is vote 15 to 2 in favour of South Africa on all 4 counts!

If anyone has doubts about if that so called War is a genocide, I recommend you to read Raphael Lemkin's book Axis rule in Occupied Europe published in 1944.Lemkin was the lawyer who created the term genocide and he basis his concept mainly in nazi colonization.Israel's actions in Gaza are described there in Lemkins book.
