just a quick tip for some of yall who want to main kayo and watch this vod and trying to remember all the lineup for me after i watched this vod i know that most of his line up isnt even line up its just experience through out the game (im also a kayo main imm3) the reason he throw the flash perfectly in quick important situation is 1 standing still and left clicking a flash is 25 meter, running leftclick is 35 meter, right click is 2-5 meter(depending on your movement and camera placement) to throw a quick good flash for your teammate is simple just try ping the wall and see the distance and then make it to where its about 23-24 meter then throw. the reason why he mostly didnt ping is because he plays alot and know the distance well and know how far his flash is going. What you really need to learn after that is to know how the flash falls because if you dont throw it high enough at the edge it will bounce back in. and lastly you need to be thinking how the flash will look like from the enemy pov and angle they are holding, like will the flash pop right at the second its show or is the enemy holding more tighter and will not see the flash stuff like that. hope you have a blast with kayo
ive been instalocking kayo for a while (literally only agent i learned somewhat properly) and more i play more i realize phx is probably better for solo q unless youre in high elo. preround comm abt my util and plan is just ignored most of the times and they dodge my 1 way flash or check what i already mollied + cleared with knife😢
Its so beautiful, actual follow up with the plan. Like if they wanna hit a site, they have the util to follow through with it. Just they get hit with a smoke, but the team doesnt hesitate and makes their decision. Everyone entries and isnt scared, and sticks to the gameplan, clearing those corners with all of that. Its just, soo good
As a sova main, thank you for showing me these lineups. I will now be testing to see if sova's recon darts interact with Kayo grenades to block these from landing
@@chr0nic1 no, you win games by having a higher round won count than the other team. if you can do that by one tricking, you do indeed win games by one tricking.
@@IstayHighAFExcept he actually did get the assist from the flash. Had Jonah not flashed there, Omen wouldn't have been able to secure the kill even if he did ulted Also it wasn't an "even IF the flash hit", at the start of the next round Jonah pressed tab and you could see at the middle right side of the screen show that he did in fact blinded 4 enemies
I'm loving watching this, I consumed so much Kay/o ascent vods to prep for a premier game and this is the first time I'll be knowing some of the tech before the hooj video drops
I by myself am learning how to play the game in general and developing my tech, and most of the time I would be the comm sentinel on the team, but hooj showing that everyone can do this and even better with pros tech, gets my heart so filled, that motivates me of sticking to climbing ranked.
Can't wait for more JonahP in pro analysis. Too many of them as of late have been oops I killed 4 cause pro diff. I'm looking at that Asuna Phoenix VOD on fracture in particular.
This is one thing ive seen with g2 or xguard that jonah and net are always praised by everyone how insane their prep is and also how insane and active net's comms are too theyre such good candidates for franchise so glad they got it ❤
Fr, then combined with Trent the goat and valyn calling, I think they’re super underrated. All they’ve needed is another real star duelist since losing sayaplayer (since tex also got stolen by Lev)
28:35 yk.. I was bing chillin thru the vod like.. Yea this is normal, this is good, ur usual pro shit and knowing how good jonah is i wasnt surprised but this flash and how ez it is for him to just identify that and call it for his omen actually blew my mind and the fact HES NOT EVEN TRYYYYYYYING BROO and ofc the omen gets 4 kills.. And hes like yeaa "i got a twitter clip of me throwing a flash" Thats literally why ppl like ethan, jonah, crashies, etc deserve more praise cz this kinda shit just goes so unnoticed
It’s so crazy watching this video because my friend made me a google slides with most of these exact lineups for premier on ascent and we won every game with my kay/o. Pros just have that stuff
High elo Kayo mains/one tricks who understand how far their mollies and flashes go, can just make lineups on the spot. For example, the flash 30:37 and 30:58 doesn’t really seem like lineups, but more of intuition and feel. He just knows it’ll reach from that area from playing a lot.
I'm actually an instalock KAYO on ascent and this combo shown in the intro is actually insane when you master it, just ask your team to not dry pick the corner if you're on lower elo and wait for the nade.
I'm studying this vod right now, and noticed JonahP crouch just before the flash over boathouse at 30:56. This does have an impact on your mate pushing lane if you don't crouch(flashes mate if close to b-main wall)
honestly as an initator main myself this was very interesting, i would love to see all of the playbooks but alas i am poor. regardless, thank you for your services mr banana man
As a sova main, thank you for showing me these lineups. I will now be testing to see if sova's recon darts interact with Kayo grenades to block these from landing
Like in JonahP's case, the most impressive thing isn't the amount of lineups he has. It's the fact that every single lineup is completely burned into his hippocampus to the point where he can see a situation (ie a teammate sitting outside a smoke) and in less than a second just instinctively go "i can flash that for you" and throw a perfect flash that doesn't blind that teammate. Like It's levels more impressive than just seeing a pro click heads in ranked.
Cant wait for some future high meta play where some pro kayo throws the A main knife from B while the enemy sova has a shock line up also from B main just to break it for info starve
Me, a bronze 2 with 40 hours who just picked the game up and got placed, watching this has me so excited to grow as a player and learn things like this and implement them into the game. I’m playing checkers while y’all play chess
That mid flash @30:32 looks like he winged it. He pinged the wall that is smoked and walked as he gets approximately at 24m since kay/o normal throw pops at 25m
Woohooj the first molly lineup for tree is really easy, Fakananas did a guide on Ascent and thats one of his stable mollies. You gott line the tip of the knife icon up with the lowest dip you were already aiming at, its more consistent.
didnt he throw the molly before the knife got a tag? the ui of the scan didnt appear did he just guess or is there maybe a sound cue like with skye flash
Commenting till plat, bronze 3 rn. I only plan to play 2 characters rn, harbor (RARELY) and mostly omen, but all this tech is just really interesting. Maybe once I hit immortal I'll play Kay-o too
is it fair to say that atp he might just know kayo util trajectory and timing (mainly flash) so well that he can just throw perfect or near perfect flashes on the go? or is he definitely lining them all up
You know JonahP is the real deal when you raided Sean Gares after this stream and he said that he had to prep counter strats specifically for JonahP when 100T played Guard
silver: "well it'll definitely blind you and maybe the enemy" Diamond: "It might blind the enemy" Radiant: "They're blind" JonaP: "By round 6 they're perma-blind because the broke their monitor in frustration"
I’m confused on what the first a main flash actually accomplishes? Like if someone is close he won’t get blinded and if someone is site/heaven he won’t be flashed anymore when Jett or Reyna Swing site. Also why wouldn’t you just throw the market knife a bit more to the right so it clears pizza, the common knife that is used in most pro mid defaults from mid link clears it, ppl could go back market but you can’t just go back into pizza after the knife so I’m just confused because it’s a very high lv player
These are the kinds of initiator players that set their entire team up for an easy win. I got an immo 3 skye 506rr peak (rad cap is 550 in eu) on my team in ascendant and his utility usage was so insane that he literally just set me up for 3 free kills every round.

claaassic knife , molly wine combo
in 23:15, there is a better lineup where the flash goes through the white tarpaulin thing.
