Thank you for your service. Glad to see that you’re happy, and back home safe. I would love to see a video of how you manage pests in the garden. Do you have a hard time regaining control of your plants from pests if you leave for a period of time or are not able to get out into the garden as much as you would like for a couple of weeks? A timeline would be great. This will be my first year starting my own garden so I’m looking forward to using your methods. I’ve learned so much already! Thank you!
New video finally. 🥳 I tried to plant watermelon last year but it's got totally failed. Poor watermelon🙁 And it's spring actually. Getting warmer every day.
Nice! I shot my fall planting video about the same time, and I'm also about a month in a half behind, but mainly because of a back injury. I wish I had the luxury of just cutting my nightshade and other plants rather than pulling them up. Unfortunately around here in S. Florida we have root knot nematodes. So I solarize my beds every summer. But I love the idea of no-till when possible. I love your indoor grow system too. And yes, I'm also glad you're back and safe!

I have watched and enjoyed MANY gardening channels. Just found yours and it is instantly one of my favorites. Thank you for taking the time to produce the videos and for sharing your knowledge and experience. Happy fall growing from a Zone 7b gardener and new subscriber.
Thank you for fighting those fighters. You don't use mulch. How is that soil staying in place. Wouldn't it wash away after a storm- here in Fl it would be gone & I would be starting over. We get hard downpours.
Your videos awesome !!! I have learned so much from you and the gardening tips . Thank you for putting California fires out and the gardening wisdom . 😃
Hello! Happy to find your channel, I’m also in Sacramento Ca. It’s nice to check and learn how plants behave in the same climate. Transplanting my kohl Arabia and parsley today. Your tomatoes looks awesome.
Thanks for the tour Kyle, I was wondering about offsetting crops within a bed and not necessarily creating perfect rows to maximise space even more. What about planting different crops scattered within one bed and how they could potentially profit from each other. Would there be an advantage to this?
You’re welcome! Thank you! Yes, staggering the rows does usually provide a bit more space for a couple of extra plants and I do often plant that way. Companion planting is certainly a good way to maximize plant health especially with organics.
Just found your channel and already bingeing. Newbie at gardening here. Can you please make a video on how to tell when the fruits and vegetables are ready to harvest? Thanks! Keep making those awesome videos please!

Thank you so much for this video. I always enjoy your videos and learn a lot. I’m a beginner gardener and hope to someday have a garden similar to yours. 🌸 and thank you for your service. 🚒

Hi! I’m out of Corpus Christi, TX and also in zone 9b. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how you start your seeds for the grow lights (soil and such) and also when do I need to start them, when do I harden them off and when do I plant? A timeline would be great. This will be my first year starting my own garden so I’m looking forward to using your methods. I’ve learned so much already! Thank you!
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your support
New video finally. 🥳
I tried to plant watermelon last year but it's got totally failed. Poor watermelon🙁
And it's spring actually. Getting warmer every day.
Yes 🙌🏼. Sorry to hear about last years watermelon, but hopefully you learned a few things about what might have went wrong and you can try again.
I live in Sac (the OV), this is very helpful! I am just getting started on my gardening journey.
Awesome! Thanks!
Love the way you set up the garden. Hope you are all done with the big fires in California.
Thank you! I hope so too!
up in Lincoln so we are neighbors. Thanks for all your videos!! Has helped me out quite a bit.
Very excited to have found your channel. We live in Petaluma, CA. Same Zone 9, same heat wave. I'm a new gardener so am really looking forward to learning from you. Thank you so much for your service as a fire fighter too! Total hero in my book! My home was very close to the Glass fire this year. Scary stuff!
I’m so glad you found my channel too, and exciting for you to start gardening! Thank you for your support
Great video 👌 thanks for your service to the country and the people
Thank you! Also, thank you for your support
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm in Florida and I'm zone 9b as well. 👍
Nice 👍 thanks for sharing your thoughts, your very hardworking man. God bless you
Thank you
Glad to see u back again💖
Thank you, it’s good to be back
I have watched and enjoyed MANY gardening channels. Just found yours and it is instantly one of my favorites. Thank you for taking the time to produce the videos and for sharing your knowledge and experience. Happy fall growing from a Zone 7b gardener and new subscriber.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you are enjoying the video on my relatively new channel. There are many more to come!
I really enjoy watching your videos, because am so interested in gardening and farming
Thanks for great info, seeing another garden local is what interests the most. We are in Citrus Heights, so same environment. Thanks!
Thank you for fighting those fighters.
You don't use mulch. How is that soil staying in place. Wouldn't it wash away after a storm- here in Fl it would be gone & I would be starting over. We get hard downpours.
can you make a video just of you throwing hoses and garden tools around?
I grew some pretty big butternut type squash this past summer.
God bless yoũ and thank you for service.
Thank you, and thank you for your support
Great video my friend, thank you for sharing, keep safe

Thank you so much! I’ll glad you’re enjoying my videos. Thank you for your support!
Hello! Happy to find your channel, I’m also in Sacramento Ca. It’s nice to check and learn how plants behave in the same climate.
Transplanting my kohl Arabia and parsley today. Your tomatoes looks awesome.
Hi! Yes it’s definitely helpful to have local sources
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the good work you do. Stay safe.
Thank you! It’s my pleasure!
Wow I found the answer of my question earlier
Zone 9b. Thank you 😊
Just found your channel and already bingeing. Newbie at gardening here. Can you please make a video on how to tell when the fruits and vegetables are ready to harvest? Thanks! Keep making those awesome videos please!
Thanks Kyle!! I love your video so much! So awesome! Blessings to you!
Thank you
Thank you for your service and this amazing channel! 🙏
Thank you so much for your support!
Thank you for your service. Truly heroic work.
Thank you for your support!
I love fire fighters!! Thanks for all you do!! Your garden is beautiful
93 degrees! Wow, our highest high this week is 69 degrees with our lowest low being 20 degrees. (Farenheight) I'm in Utah. Lol, pretty much no gardening over the fall and winter for us. Harvest and wait till spring ☺️
Hello! great video! I remember in a video of yours you mentioned you have been doing no dig gardening for the past several years. I thought you might like to check out Charles Dowding in the UK for his UA-cam videos. He is known for his no dig gardening method. His videos are very informative and relaxing because he just has such a kind and pleasant personality. I was truly impressed how he showed succession/interplanting to get the most from the garden. I think you will definitely like his videos. Thank you for your service as a firefighter and happy you returned home safely from the fires this summer in CA!! Will be trying to make the trellises in your garden for mine this year! They really seem to make to most out of the garden space and make harvesting easier!!! Take care and God bless!!
