I too lost my mother due to the carelessness of some doctors .Even in some private hospitals in tamilnadu also these events are happening.Doctors please care for others life.After her death ,we visited the doctor and told him at least innimael aavathu oru uyiruku pathukapa irunga ..but he didn't care because she is just 1 life among lakhs of people for him 😭

I shouted in front of ICU them after that from HOD from to duty doctors came forward to explain. If we didn't ask they wont reply properly.

A similar incident took place in Karnataka too. A woman pregnancy pain started at night 10 PM , so she and an old woman go to a government hospital, but the medical staff/doctor there refuses/ignore to admit them. So the woman and the grandmother join an old house where no one is. A child is born at 4 am and the mother dies while another child is born, so does the child, and after a while the first born also dies. The main reason for this is the negligence of the government hospital staff.
I'm a physiotherapist trainee in govt hospital, I have seen many patient's left without proper care, even patients family would complain it to me that they didn't get any proper medicines and care... This needs to change, when each does their correct job, they can save people lives.

2years back,I had a nose surgery in madurai GH, they havent told anything about the procedure after the surgery they made my nose curvy which was straight before. I asked them why it is like this at that time they told me we have to do another surgery after 1 year. After 1 year I went to them , but they ignored me completely. I told them I wanted to meet the dean of the ENT dep and I was standing outside before his room. One of the co doctor went to told him my scenerio but he replied like “ these kinds of people always come again , we should ignore those” after hearing this I stepped into the room. Asked him to hand over my reports and went to private hosp. Then only I came to know that the operation done before was a failure.
Government hospitals generally don't show much care ,just for sake they don't do any operation properly ,if u give money then operation will be done perfectly money minded mentals

ACL / MCL tear Is treated correctly . But the post op was not ignored . This is called acute compartment syndrome. Which occurs due to post inflammatory response to the limb which is compressed in bandages . So no blood supply to the lower limb for a very long duration. Leading to death of the muscles of the leg .it's still treatabled cuz amputation can be done for this complication . But the dead muscle releases lot of myoglobin frm the cells which cannot b tolerated by other organs in our body ... Leading to multiple organ failure. This situation should b avoided if the patient came in emergency room early or doctor releases the bandages soon as possible .
My personal experience bro.. my dad had heart attack.. his 1st attack.. he was admitted in a govt hospital.. doc jus gav him a table and asked him to lie down.. then tat doc lady said he won't survive, jus tak him home.. v were shocked.. then v took him to a private hospital.. on our way la yae v informed to the private hospital tat v r cmg.. once v reached quick ah my dad ah kutitu poi process start pannainga bro.. he had open heart surgery and he recovered from it too.. govy hosp has no value our human life bro .. worst..

As I am a nurse .. it's very bad situation in tamilnadu . I was Felt shameless about this incident. No one care to the patient in govt hospital . They are treat like a animal . But this same situation will happen for abroad they are cancelled to the registration and pay penalty for this family and they are take a immediate action .. so other country is work very carefully .. Doctors are the only professionals who are allowed to practice outside their government jobs too. This was initially offered due to the lower number of doctors. Some organizations like railways have to give them non-practising allowance to restrict them from practising outside. With the increasing number of doctors i think it's a right time to revisit the fundamental rules to make them responsible and understand their duty.
True , as a CA student I can say that a CA cannot practice when he is a full time employment and that is a part of code of conduct . Doctors should also have such code of conduct.

I too got operated in madurai Government hospital for stone in submandibular gland and doctors suggested me to remove that gland so that stone will not form again there. I was taken good care there by doctors and even the nurses. People going there should maintain clean and tidy and also behave themselves in a good manner. Doctors there visited me daily once to regularly check my health and also elaborated me about the operation I would undergo. And also in addition most the doctors were young and they were also students. I think in this case those inexperienced student doctors must have carelessly handled her.
@@drvetri Operation was done under senior surgeon. I knew that. But once we get into common wards those senior surgeons will comes once a day to check us. For the remaining time we are under those students surveillance only. I am not accusing sir. I am just sharing my experience at the government hospital. I am now perfectly alright. Post recovery time is needed to get back well completely they said.

Ligament tear is most common in football but the real truth is there is no proper facilities in Govt hospital to give treatment. I had two ligament injury while playing football I done two surgeries in same leg but still playing this is because of Private Hospitals they provide good treatment for money and value.
I can feel the pain of the parents and her brother, since I lost my sister this year because of the carelessness of the Rajiv Gandhi hospital doctors, it's saddening to see how the staff treat patients and their caretakers.
These kinds of incidents will continue to happen till, 1. Reservation quota in medical colleges exists 2. Till doctors and hospitals are not booked for medical errors 3. All doctors & medical staffs should be reviewed every 5yrs before allowing them to continue their practice.

In TN u have a good health infrastructure with medical colleges in almost every district,taluk and district hospitals and PHCs.. The amount pts u cater is large compared to the number of doctors and in short there is not much waiting period as like in US.. Since the pt load is heavy u will have delays in getting the procedures but a that's nonetheless a undermanagement.. With improvements in work force, state of art equipments and maintainence, adequate staff, the glitches ll be almost be met out. And no wonder chennai is the capital of medical tourism. So it's like comparing apples to oranges

Painful to hear this. Rip priya. Because of some careless doctors, patients are loosing their lives. I think they are not understanding the value of life and other's pain. Sometimes afraid to trust doctors whether they are fake doctor or not, whether they will steal any organ from us, or any wrong medicine or wrong treatment or wrong operation. I just graduated med school, first of all doctor should explain the procedure to patient's atleast close relatives , i practiced in foreign hospital which is gov hospital, there is no deference between gov doctor and private doctor (patient care), i don't know why it's happening here, as a doctor i respect my profession, still i feel bad about some irresponsible doctors, even though lac of infrastructure in gov hospitals lac of bla bla.. doctor means responsibility, i don't know what happened exactly, what was the case still if negligence of doctor proved, he will be punished as per the IPC section

This is not only in Govt hospitals. It's also in Private hospitals itself. I faced same problem, asking us to make payment for lot of tests without informed us what my daughter's disease. I shouted in front of ICU them after that from HOD from to duty doctors came forward to explain. If we didn't ask they wont reply properly.

2years back,I had a nose surgery in madurai GH, they havent told anything about the procedure after the surgery they made my nose curvy which was straight before. I asked them why it is like this at that time they told me we have to do another surgery after 1 year. After 1 year I went to them , but they ignored me completely. I told them I wanted to meet the dean of the ENT dep and I was standing outside before his room. One of the co doctor went to told him my scenerio but he replied like “ these kinds of people always come again , we should ignore those” after hearing this I stepped into the room. Asked him to hand over my reports and went to private hosp. Then only I came to know that the operation done before was a failure.

ACL / MCL tear Is treated correctly . But the post op was not ignored . This is called acute compartment syndrome. Which occurs due to post inflammatory response to the limb which is compressed in bandages . So no blood supply to the lower limb for a very long duration. Leading to death of the muscles of the leg .it's still treatabled cuz amputation can be done for this complication . But the dead muscle releases lot of myoglobin frm the cells which cannot b tolerated by other organs in our body ... Leading to multiple organ failure. This situation should b avoided if the patient came in emergency room early or doctor releases the bandages soon as possible .

Doctors are the only professionals who are allowed to practice outside their government jobs too. This was initially offered due to the lower number of doctors. Some organizations like railways have to give them non-practising allowance to restrict them from practising outside. With the increasing number of doctors i think it's a right time to revisit the fundamental rules to make them responsible and understand their duty.

I too got operated in madurai Government hospital for stone in submandibular gland and doctors suggested me to remove that gland so that stone will not form again there. I was taken good care there by doctors and even the nurses. People going there should maintain clean and tidy and also behave themselves in a good manner. Doctors there visited me daily once to regularly check my health and also elaborated me about the operation I would undergo. And also in addition most the doctors were young and they were also students.
I think in this case those inexperienced student doctors must have carelessly handled her.
No mostly student doctors not allowed to do that, they are the one who update all informations to higher doctors...

For the remaining time we are under those students surveillance only. I am not accusing sir. I am just sharing my experience at the government hospital. I am now perfectly alright. Post recovery time is needed to get back well completely they said.

Ligament tear is most common in football but the real truth is there is no proper facilities in Govt hospital to give treatment. I had two ligament injury while playing football I done two surgeries in same leg but still playing this is because of Private Hospitals they provide good treatment for money and value.
I can feel the pain of the parents and her brother, since I lost my sister this year because of the carelessness of the Rajiv Gandhi hospital doctors, it's saddening to see how the staff treat patients and their caretakers.

These kinds of incidents will continue to happen till,
1. Reservation quota in medical colleges exists
2. Till doctors and hospitals are not booked for medical errors
3. All doctors & medical staffs should be reviewed every 5yrs before allowing them to continue their practice.

In Govt hospitals, they don't even give reports for CT scans. No medical bills, nothing 😑 In US, Govt hospitals serve a lot better than our private hospitals.

@@almighty790 They don't. They expect insurance but the quality of treatment is much better than ours. Not just hospitals, take their Govt public schools. They are far better than ours and it's free. Here we are paying taxes for everything but what the govt doing with that? Aren't they responsible to give the people better treatment than private hospitals?

In TN u have a good health infrastructure with medical colleges in almost every district,taluk and district hospitals and PHCs.. The amount pts u cater is large compared to the number of doctors and in short there is not much waiting period as like in US.. Since the pt load is heavy u will have delays in getting the procedures but a that's nonetheless a undermanagement.. With improvements in work force, state of art equipments and maintainence, adequate staff, the glitches ll be almost be met out.
And no wonder chennai is the capital of medical tourism.
So it's like comparing apples to oranges

Painful to hear this. Rip priya. Because of some careless doctors, patients are loosing their lives. I think they are not understanding the value of life and other's pain. Sometimes afraid to trust doctors whether they are fake doctor or not, whether they will steal any organ from us, or any wrong medicine or wrong treatment or wrong operation. Where will people go if they fall sick when doctors are like this.

I just graduated med school, first of all doctor should explain the procedure to patient's atleast close relatives , i practiced in foreign hospital which is gov hospital, there is no deference between gov doctor and private doctor (patient care), i don't know why it's happening here, as a doctor i respect my profession, still i feel bad about some irresponsible doctors, even though lac of infrastructure in gov hospitals lac of bla bla.. doctor means responsibility, i don't know what happened exactly, what was the case still if negligence of doctor proved, he will be punished as per the IPC section

I too took my father to government hospital first .After seeing doctors and home surgeon students way of treatment and the way they responded to my fathers questions .....we then shifted to private hospital with the help of my relatives financial help to us
